"Yes, that is the meaning of sire. However, I have no idea who actually turned me, but she was my teacher, my lover, and the one who made it possible for me to survive on my own. So she is by all means the one who I call sire. Yes, I am stronger at night. And the sun will weaken your powers, it will not kill you though, but it will expose to others what you are." Marquise was starting to get the hang of the language.
"All that becoming your sire would mean for me is that we would be closer, I'd be a father, a brother, a..... whats the word.... a lover." Marquise explained the relationship, it was a twisted one, but on good terms a vampire and their sire were very close. A vampire and their grand-sire was different with the circumstances, but if a vampire was turned with their permission, they generally came to be close with the one who turned them.

"Yes, that is the meaning of sire. However, I have no idea who actually turned me, but she was my teacher, my lover, and the one who made it possible for me to survive on my own. So she is by all means the one who I call sire. Yes, I am stronger at night. And the sun will weaken your powers, it will not kill you though, but it will expose to others what you are." Sephora listened carefully. So, she would be more powerful at night. But would that apply to her connection with nature, or with her growing of plants and controlling animals? She didn't know, and supposed that Marquise wouldn't be able to answer that one for her. Sephora knew she would only ever be able to answer that through becoming a vampire and finding out.
Almost on a seperate tangent, she threw in, "Your Armenian is getting better." Then repeated herself in english. A small songbird had nestled itself in the tree above them and had begun a song. She looked up at it with a smile and the bird looked back. "All that becoming your sire would mean for me is that we would be closer, I'd be a father, a brother, a..... whats the word.... a lover." The last word he spoke in english. Sephora kept staring at the songbird for a moment, then looked back to the vampire beside her, suddenly aware of how close he was to her. She wondered for a moment what kind of lover Marquise would be.
Would he be tender, or would he be cruel? She had never been with anyone, as she had never met anyone her own age until coming to St. Paragon, but she had heard her bodyguards telling stories while she was a girl, when they hadn't realized she was listening. "The word is lover." Sephora realized how much more delicate the word sounded in Armenian, almost as if it were part of a poem.
"I am still not sure, though I do appreciate your willingness to speak of it with me. I am still wondering, though, if I would lose any of my Qi. The forest has a way of pegging the. . . unnatural."

"Possibly," Marquise spoke in english, he was quite used to speaking armenian now, and he would practice later, but his mother tongue was just the default, "But there are flowers that bloom at night, correct? Perhaps the night blooming jasmine. Jasmine has always been a favorite of mine."
Yes, the plants that bloom at night might be different then those at day, or they could be all part of the same sentient being. I suppose she would keep her abilities, although the forest might have a few nasty things to say about her. Unless of course.....
"As despicable as it is in my eyes, if somehow your soul is restored within you, you will keep your Qi ability regardless. I suppose.... however, there's also the possibility it will remain even without the soul. I have heard stories of those who could predict the future becoming vampires, and while they became a little..... eccentric, they still had their gift. Besides, I believe the term to describe us vampire would be...... Supernatural."

"Possibly, but there are flowers that bloom at night, correct? Perhaps the night blooming jasmine. Jasmine has always been a favorite of mine." He said this in english, and she almost wished he had chosen Armenian. He was getting quite good at it, and she felt that her first language was far lovelier to listen to than english. Hearing it was as if the speaker had marbles in their mouth, it was a clumsy language, albeit a useful one.
Thinking on his words, Sephora was surprised to hear that night blooming jasmine was one of his favorites. Honestly she hadn't thought that a vampire could like anything, let alone jasmine. It was a gorgeous white flower, simple yet lovely. Sephora liked it too.
Supernatural." She looked down at her hands. The girl had almost smiled at his use of Armenian. It was so good to hear it so far from home.
"Ah, forgive me. Supernatural, then." Sephora laughed softly, goodnaturedly. The truth was, she could easily see herself as an eccentric forest-dweller, living off of those who harmed her precious plantlife. Though, the whole biting into a human being would cause a problem, as she was a little squeemish.
Mulling his words over in her mind, she decided that if she ever said yes to him and then found herself in a situation where he 'saved' her, would she somehow keep her soul? As a little girl, the forest at home had once told her they wouldn't let her die. Would that mean they could somehow stop her soul from leaving? Sephora didn't know.
That tanget led to a new one, though, and the girl suddenly wondered something. If she said yes to Marquise and then didn't find herself in a position where she was about to die, would he turn her anyway, when she wasn't expecting it? While she was a little afraid to ask, Sephora also wondered why he had chosen to offer to turn her. Was it simply because she was there and convenient, or was it for another reason? She didn't know. She also didn't know if he would accept 'no' as an answer.
"So, if I say yes, that I want you to turn me if I find myself dying, it leaves me wondering something. What if I never find myself dying again?" Sephora really felt akward asking this question, but she was genuinly curious. Plus, he was the only person she could ask about it. "I don't presume to think I am anything more than an interesting Qi to you, so if nothing happened to me in the next few years where I once more found myself dying, would you move on? Or ..." Repeating herself in english, Sephora left the ending open. They both knew what she meant.

"I am very impatient when it comes to blood, but the honor of becoming someones sire is something I would never pass up. I would always remember, never forget, and I would never force myself upon you." Marquise said this because it was true, he wouldn't forcefully turn another, as it had happened to him, he didn't make the choice to become what he is, he liked what he was, but he didn't choose this.
"However, I would understand if you wanted me to speed up the process. If at any time you just simply want to become what I am, say the word." Marquise spoke out of what someone could mistake as affection, friendship, or even love. What it truly was, was a way to enjoy being a vampire even more. To sire another, to have a lover and companion, to not be the only beast caged in this hell. To have another person to fight against the Paladins and their monstrous ways.
Yes..... it would be good to once again have someone to fight, feed, and go through immortality with.

"I am very impatient when it comes to blood, but the honor of becoming someones sire is something I would never pass up. I would always remember, never forget, and I would never force myself upon you." Sephora felt a little better. That meant if she said yes, then she would get to live as long as she wished without being turned, then get to spend the rest of eternity as a vampire. Though even saying that in her head brought chills up her spine, Sephora had to admit a certain longing to live forever. She craved the knowledge of the trees, wanted to spend every moment with them, learning their ways and what they had seen.
Part of her screamed that this thing beside her was a monster, that no matter what he said, she couldn't trust him. At a whim he would rip out her throat, leaving her bloodless and dead. Sephora wasn't sure if she believed that or not, though it was she who was thinking it. He seemed ernest that he would not force her into the change, and if she said yes to it then he would wait until she was ready. Which meant, as previously thought, she would be safe until she was ready.
"However, I would understand if you wanted me to speed up the process. If at any time you just simply want to become what I am, say the word." Of course, that could have gone unsaid. Sephora had figured, the moment he had asked, that if she had even thought in his direction that she wanted to be turned right now, then she would be sitting her hating the sun instead of loving it.
The sun. Sephora looked up, shading her eyes. She couldn't look at it directly, it was far too bright, but she looked at the blue sky. What would it be to want to avoid such a glorious thing as the daytime sky? Her hair fell off of her shoulder, revealing her neck. At one time, Sephora probably would have covered it right away, being so close to a vampire. Yet, if he attacked her right now, the girl thought she might just let him turn her, then and there. Maybe. Or she might attack him with everything she had. Maybe. In any case, she didn't think he would do anything to her, as the previous night she had carried him while he was nearly dying of thirst, his face centimeters from the tan flesh of her neck.
"I think... that one day... I would like to become what you are." Sephora said. She didn't repeat herself in english. The girl also wondered if she would ever wish to take those words back.

Marquise smiled, it was a dark smile, he said nothing, he only looked down, smiled a wide grin, teeth showing, fangs and all. He was in a great mood. He knew that one day, somehow, he wouldn't be alone. They'd be a great team. He could see it already.
"Alright, it shall be done then. Until then, do not fear death, because it will only mean that you shall become..... whats the word.... Immortal." Marquise looked around, the daylight was tiring him.
"Perhaps this is enough for one day, yes? I shall go now, whenever you want to learn more of fighting, just message me on these handheld machines with the place, it doesn't have to be alone or at night anymore, that was just a special one time thing."
Yes... I should retire and go back to sleep until night.... then i can go feast on Dani. Oh yes, I wonder if Sephora would end up feasting on Dani, or maybe Dani wouldn't approve of Sephora, either way it doesn't matter to me, I guess we'll just see how it plays out....

Sephora looked at Marquise and saw his smile It made her shiver and wonder if she had made the right choice.
"Alright, it shall be done then. Until then, do not fear death, because it will only mean that you shall become..... whats the word.... Immortal." For a moment she didn't know what to do or say. His use of english for the word Immortal had almost sounded dark and dirty, due to the switch from almost poetry. It was set in stone now, one day she would be a vampire. Sephora got the feeling that if she ever wanted to take back her decision, it wouldn't mean she could continue on as a human.
"Perhaps this is enough for one day, yes? I shall go now, whenever you want to learn more of fighting, just message me on these handheld machines with the place, it doesn't have to be alone or at night anymore, that was just a special one time thing." Sephora smiled at him confidently. Of course, the confidence was fake, but she hoped if she appeared it she would be it.
Sephora nodded, stretching. "Yes, that sounds good. Don't forget to practice your Armenian, next time we meet I expect absolutely no english unless you are asking me for a vocabulary word." She didn't repeat anything in english. At this point, it was more beneficial for Marquise to ask for words and try figuring out sentences than for her to be explaining what she was saying.
Standing, she turned her back to the school. Not looking back at him, for she had caught a glimpse of his facial changes when she had agreed to being turned, the girl walked into the forest. The trees sighed in greeting.
