Saturday Lessons

Alex looked at his father as he started the lesson and made his introduction. “Welcome class, to the first Saturday lessons of the school year. In this class you will be learning Qi powers and all I require is that you pay attention to what I say. Today’s lessons is a double lessons, first is a tiny bit of information on Qi powers and then we give an example of them in a fight between two teachers, and another fight between two students.”

Alex was rather intrigued by this, so there'd be exhibition matches, teacher vs. teacher, and student vs. student. He couldn't deny his father made it interesting. He then followed his father as the group made their way to a clearing he had designed specifically for this. Along the way, he heard someone speak out, he could only see the arm, but when he got closer, he saw it was Matrim. "Can I be one of the students to fight? I think my Qi would work well for other students to practice their Qi on... at least... the majority of students."

Well, that was certainly interesting. Alex shoved his hands into his pockets as they continued on, if Matrim thought his power would work well for the students, Alex wanted to see it, he'd want to see what kind of Qi Matirm had to show.

Sephora hurried along with the other students, following Mr. Hikari. He was talking and she strained to hear what was being said above the whispers. Walking quicker, she moved through the cluster of girls she had been caught up with and got closer to the principal. “Welcome class, to the first Saturday lessons of the school year. Sephora's blood ran slightly cooler than it had been. She had never used her Qi in combat and she honestly didn't know what she would do with it. Maybe grow stuff around their feet and trip them?? Well, at any rate, she hoped that he meant there would only be one student against one student, while the others watched. Perhaps that way she could figure out how to use her Qi against others.

Then a blue-haired boy spoke loudly near her, "Can I be one of the students to fight? I think my Qi would work well for other students to practice their Qi on... at least... the majority of students." Sephora decided that this boy was either a show-off, knew what he was talking about, or wanted to see how he would do against other students. Sephora wondered if another student would volunteer to fight the blue-haired boy.

Quickening her step, she looked at the students around her and saw she was walking close to a boy who looked an awful lot like the principal. She caught his eye and smiled at him, adjusting the dark sunglasses.

Kane looked to his students with a smile on his face and said “well looks like we have one of the two students ready to fight, so who else would like to volunteer?” he then looked to the vice principal Matrim and said “I would like to fight against you for the teacher fights if you wouldn’t mind. And be sure you try to kill me, I want this to be an all out battle. And if I happen to die, well you can have full run of the school.”

Austin had joined them shortly before hearing Matt volunteer to be some sort of test dummy. Of course, the teacher, the principal of the school, had taken that as a volunteer for some kind of fight.

"Well......" Austin said speaking up a little, "I'm pretty good at... controlling my Qi...."

It wasn't like him to speak up, but he honestly had a pretty good ability with Qi. He'd like to see what some of the other studen'ts could do.

Oh god what have I gotten myself into now, Austin thought, wondering if he was making the biggest mistake of his life, That kids like, huge! In comparison to me at least....

Alex stood there with his hands in his pockets, his shoulders relaxed. While he stood there, he noticed from the corner of his eye a girl with dark glasses who smiled at him, catching his eye. He smiled back, then shifted his attention back to his father, who was smiling. “Well looks like we have one of the two students ready to fight, so who else would like to volunteer?” Alex waited to see who would volunteer to take on Matrim, as he waited, his father continued to speak, now addressing the vice-principal. "I would like to fight against you for the teacher fights if you wouldn’t mind. And be sure you try to kill me, I want this to be an all out battle. And if I happen to die, well you can have full run of the school.” How interesting. This would be a fight worth watching, his father, Kane Hikari, vs. Matrim Aldon, if he accepted.

He then heard a voice speak up from behind him, and he turned his gaze to see who had spoken. "Well......I'm pretty good at... controlling my Qi...." The voice came from a guy who looked pretty small, but appearances aren't everything. A person could look small and weak, but could actually have hidden strength. Alex wanted to see what the guy was capable of, the match was about to begin.
