It was afternoon, Austin had woken up late for class and he was running to meet Michelle as she got out for the day. He felt like skipping and spending the day with her, she was his friend now, and he also had something he wanted to ask her.
"Austin!" Michelle called out from a distance, walking up towards him, she was pale as ever and a little skinnier then usual, which usually meant she had been making herself sick, something about losing weight, "I know what your thinking Austin, stay out of it, besides I'm actually sick, OK?"
Austin knew Michelle was getting ticked off at him, she always did when he thought about her not having to do those things to herself. It was the truth though, she didn't.
I just care about you is all..... you're my only friend here, and I'm not going to let someone else that I care about die..... not that this could kill you right away, but it's still not healthy.... Austin thought, it was an easy way to talk to her, he was so shy he didn't like talking around people and she could read minds.
"I know OK! But come on, let's go outside and enjoy the day!" Michelle said, leading him outside onto the grounds of the school.
It is a nice day.... I bet the water feels good in the pool about now... Austin thought to himself, not necessarily directing the thought towards Michelle in particular.
"Is that all you think about?" Michelle asked him as he followed her outside.
"Umm.... I guess not...." Austin said out loud, he was trying to focus on things other then what he wanted to ask her, and not by her mind reading, but out loud. "I was also wondering if umm...."
"Well spit it out!"
"I was wondering..... if you would go..... on a date..... with me...." Austin finally said looking up and smiling. Low and behold the most shy and hermit of a kid actually asked someone out.

Marquise had woken up in day time. He hated waking up in daytime. He walked out onto the school grounds, five hours of sleep was not going to cut it. Especially with the sun beaming down on him and making him weaker. He was hungry, so hungry, but he could not smell blood anywhere. He had heard of vampires who could smell blood better, but he had no such luck thus far. Am I seriously going to have to actually hunt down breakfast? This is pathetic.... I wish I could hunt Dani down but she's probably still sleeping off what happened last night..... Marquise saw two kids in the distance, but he didn't pay any attention to them, instead he found a patch of grass in the shade by a tree and sat there. His fangs and eyes were showing, and he blasted his headphones to a song he very much enjoyed. " This song is very good...." Marquise tapped his foot to the beat and observed the two kids, wondering if they would ever get around to cutting their fingers, or perhaps maybe even a fight. Or with any luck one of them would leave the other and he might have fair game at whoever stayed behind. He remained ever hopeful, although in his head he knew nothing interesting was going to happen, and he would once again be without a meal. ooc= The song.

Ugh. Too early. She was tired and had no idea as to why that was. She had flustered for a few moments in her bed before dragging herself out of it. Tossed on some decent clothing, brushed the things that were called teeth and hair, and stumbled out the door. Landed herself in math class... and proceeded to leave due to boredom.
Now the tan girl was walking along the school grounds, fighting a yawn by covering her mouth with the back of her hand. Her long dark red hair was tumbled past her shoulders. She wore a complicated sort of outfit. Well, maybe complicated for some people. Not for her.
Dark blue tank top under a black hoodie. The hoodie was unzipped half way and off her shoulders. The arms were bunched up around her elbow. Fingerless black gloves, plenty of arm bands around her tan wrists. Ranging in a billion different colors. Straps from her jacket joined with her pants. These were black as well, and tight to her form. Combat boots finished it, and that was that.
She was in a darker mood. Why? Lina couldn't put her thumb on it. Scars were lined on her shoulders and arms that were exposed, none of them self inflicted. Fights through out the years. She yawned a second time and looked around the grounds. A couple of some sort and a loner.
Well, guess what? She'd be a loner as well. She plopped down in the middle of the grass in a random spot and shut her eyes. A nap in the sun would prove to be good to her interests. And she'd get a tan. All in all, good all around.

Tatiana was on her usual morning stroll in the forest. She hardly attended classes, so, just like most of her days, she was skipping. The forest was calm and quiet, with the dew on the tree leaves sparkling in the morning sun.
Sighing, not wanting to leave her little haven, she made her way to the school buildings. Hunger came first, and it wasn't like she could drop down on all fours and hunt. The cafeteria people knew her well, for she was there a lot. It wasn't her fault she had a bigger appetite then most people..being a werewolf took a lot of engery.
She was dressed simply. In tight black jeans, with knee high boots, with a yellow belt, complete with a white boy beater. Tatiana wasn't much for style. As the forest began to thin out, she caught the scent of three people and the scent of somethng else..this scent was different from everyday normal humans.
As she exited the forest, she spotted a boy and girl talking in the distance..from her keen hearing, she could hear that the boy asked her out. Tatiana grinned, and leaned against a tree. Another human girl was taking a nap on the grass. That was fun, sleeping in the grass, Tatiana used to do it all the time before she landed here.
But that other scent...her nose twitched. The person smelled horrible. Turning her gaze to the right she spotted a lone male, listening to music. Why did he smell so bad to her? A question she wanted answered.

The sniper waited, he had seen some students out in the open. Perfect targets, but he had been given his orders. He was not to take the first shot, the first shot needed to be a teacher, and some lucky bastard with a better sniping ability got that job.
"Good day for an old fashioned killing." The man said, too far in the distance for anyone to see, and he was going to get his head shot on someone as soon as he could, in the meantime he was looking through his binoculars.
"Is this kid asking that chick out? God you'd think they were actually human. Fucking monsters." He said.
"Mission complete, fire at will, lets get this shit started."
"Understood, I assume you had a good shot soldier?"
"Yes Sir, head shot, killed what seems to be one of their so called teachers, I see two more in the hallway, hopefully I can squeeze off another kill."
"Let's rock and roll." He said to himself. He wasn't much of a radio user, he preferred in person conversation, otherwise you were just standing around not doing much.
"Johnny's get his sights on you girl," He said aiming for the girl who was being asked out, just as she was about to speak, he squeezed the trigger, "Oh shit that was ugly....."
The head shot was clean, but the blood had splattered all over the face of the kid asking her out. He put his gun up and grabbed his binoculars, he wanted to watch them run, he had taken his shot and he wasn't skilled enough to get a moving target in these situations.
"Well then, let's see what happens."

Alaya had woken at the usual time, four a.m., and went about her usual business. Showering, grooming, and getting dressed. All before most other inmates were up, and yes, they were all inmates. But the different part was, that Alaya was already sentenced to the death penalty. She just had quite a bit of time to wait out before she was to be executed.
She was following her niece at a brisk pace. It wasn't especially something that she was keen on doing, considering she didn't especially know Lina anymore, they had known each other a while back, four or more years ago, but that was that. Alaya had grown in a much different direction, and she wanted to have a nice little talk with Lina. She approached silently, and leaned over Lina's head, blocking out the sun.
"Здравствулте! там, Lina, я вижу вы вне и около."
Hello there, Lina, I see you're out and about.
She heard a crack, and ducked instinctively. It sounded to her, like a sniper rifle, she had learned how to use such a weapon, and was roughly familiar with them. Then she heard more shots, it appeared that it was some kind of assassination attempt. She kept low, and her right hand reached towards her belt, to grab a knife.
A knife that wasn't there.
"Shit, Lina, stay down... we have to make a break for the buildings, we're sitting ducks out here."

Russian. Some one was speaking to her in Russian and it wasn't her mother. The young girl looked up to find her not much older aunt looking down at her. The red head remembered her mother telling her Alaya had come to the school. "Alaya," Lina had never called her aunt, and probably never would. It was just weird when they were so close in age they could have been sisters. And then there was the shot, and the darker haired girl crouched. Gun shots here? Her icy eyes whirled looking around. And she found the dead body. The girl, of the couple from before. The boy was covered in her blood and brains. Lina did not almost loose her lunch. She had seen plenty of blood on her own hands long ago. And now, she only felt pity for the boy. It would haunt him for the rest of his miserable life. She was up, and crouching just like her aunt within moments. She looked back over her shoulder and then heard a couple more shots, some where else. So she tensed and frowned. "Then let's go." Time to scatter. Random movement would keep them safer than even zig zagging back and forth. So keeping low, Lina began to head back to the building. Trusting Alaya would follow her. Random, almost spazzing movements forward, to the side, trying to stay out of the line of fire. Her father would just kill her if she got hurt!

Anyone dolt with half a brain could see that humankind had gone insane. If you listened close enough you could hear the sound of breaking, shattering dreams and hearts by the thousands. But Dani, she never thought it was this bad.
It had appeared to be a normal day. The sky was bright, her clan was strong and she was personally fit as a fiddle. She rolled her shoulders, ready for anything and anyone.
It was a brand day.
Then the gunshot echoed off the sky in a screaming exaltation of death. A shiver raced up her spine through her thin green tank top. Outside everything was normal. The birds still flew, the sky was still bright but the stench of copper filled the nostrils of everyone outside. Shock and horror exploded in rapid fire action in her brain, she would never escape the sight of the bloody girl.
So pale, so frail.....so human.
And now dead.
What was the one creature, no the one monster who could do such a thing to another human being? The poor boy, stunned and afraid looked as if his psyche were breaking.
As if his spirit were breaking.
Instinct flew through her veins, making her dive under the cover of a bench. Anger rampaged inside of her, tearing her already moral wall down to shreds.
That monster.
That bitch.
The one person who could do this was supposed to be a helping hand. A light in the darkness to the plague that was now humanity. But even among the good did evil makes her bed.
Artemis Chekov would pay.
Dani sprinted past the trees, toward the building where the shot was fired. "It's Artemis. It's fucking Chekov."
Dani was going to kill that demoness.
Or at least try.

"You......... you can't die...... this is a sick joke, my mind is playing games, I'm not really here, I'm not. It's not possible, this isn't possible thiscantbefuckinghappeningitjustcan't....... becauseifitwasshewouldbedeadand theywouldall be dead they aren't all dead......."
"You're not dead.... they aren't dead...... I am... I am the only one who's dead here........ me and the others. They.... those who tried to trick me, they tried to fool me.... they want me to think you're dead, when in reality it is them who will die. They are the ones. If they die, you live... that's Karma right? That's what sensei said before they made me think he died, before they told me my parents and family died, before I was put here....."
There was no water around, no sprinkler system on. He was thirsty.
You can still hear me can't you? You can still hear my thoughts? Because you're not dead, you can't be. That's not possible. So tell me, what am I thinking now? Austin thought as he shook her body over and over, searching her face for a sign, tell me what I'm thinking, you can hear me can't you? You're still alive so SPEAK! TELL ME WHAT I'M THINKING NOW!
Austin stood up, letting go of the body and turning to the people around him, he heard bullets in the distance, "It's them.... the one's who shoot. They are the ones...... they need to die for you to live.... I see that now...."
Austin began walking, there was a girl crying, two girls running, a boy on a tree and another girl who seemed to be sniffing the air. Austin began to express his anger momentarily, sprinkler systems were not only engaged, but forced to go off, since Austin had been drawing the water out of them. The water rose out of the sprinklers, but it didn't touch the ground, instead the majority of it followed Austin. He turned around and shot the water at himself, washing the blood from his face and clothes. He was now soaked, the grass behind him wet. The water that was still raised dropped.
"I see now, I must kill to allow others to live, the longer I do not kill, the more often others will die. Such is the balance of this world."
OOC= I realize the words aren't separated above, it's supposed to emphasize how fast he began to talk.

Marquise saw it happen, and it was wonderful. A shot rang out and he smiled. Oh, did he smile. He showed his fangs and true to blood red eyes and everything. He was no expecting this, this was interesting. This was fun. This was....... making him very hungry.
Oh! I wish I could replay that moment in my head time and time again..... I wish I was the boy! To have all that free nourishment splashed on my face!
Marquise got up and watched as the boy began to go mad from the looks of it, talking to himself. Catching a few words Marquise began to laugh, the boy was clearly insane. Maybe it was the shock or maybe something finally snapped like a dry twig in his head, but Marquise felt as though he would have very much liked this boy as a vampire. Especially after seeing his little water spectacle.
"Oh well! Finders keepers, losers weepers." Marquise spoke as he walked towards the girl who had just been shot. He knelt down to see if she was still warm, and suddenly his smile turned to a frown. "DAMNIT it's no good..... she's already dead."
Marquise threw the body down hard, and the head was further damaged, not that it mattered. He saw a girl in the distance who had been sniffing about. "Don't tell me......"
He walked to the girl who seemed to be smelling the very way Marquise had. She didn't seem vampiric at all. "Who are you girl?"
Marquise saw Dani running in the distance, but he was very much more curious with the girl in front of him.
"Or should I say, what are you?"

It happened in an instant. One moment there was the peaceful conversation of the humans, then a loud ear shattering shot was heard in the distance. The smell of blood was in the air. Tatiana's fist clenched in fury as the girl was shot dead, her blood spattering all over the silver haired boy. They were only humans, but no human deserved anything like that.
Chaos broke loose then. The humans she was observing scattered themselves amongst the school grounds. Some running away from the direction of danger, some embracing it with hard set looks on their faces. Tatiana remained calm, and catiously walked towards the dead girl.
A small bullet would not kill her..but if it was made of pure silver, that could be a problem. She only approached the dead human to examine the bullet...only the smelly one got their before she did. Tatiana did not break her stride.
It appalled her to watch him handle the corpse with such ferocity. What sort of thing was he? She would find out soon enough, for she was standing in talking distance. She only glared and examined him when he asked her who she was. Pale skin..then the realization struck her.
Tatiana let out a growl, entended her claws, and showed off her growing canines. She knew what he was now. "Filthy leech," she spat. Surpressing the urge to rip his throat out. His kind was her mortal enemy. A war that had been waging on for many centuries. It was only natural to want to kill one another...but perhaps they had bigger problems.
Tatian's ears perked, hearing other distant gun shots being fired. She willed herself to change, and in a mere moment, her clothes were torn off her and she was in her Urhan form, a complete wolf. When she found the snipers, she would turn into her Urshul, or near human form, to rip their jaws open. She had to take her anger out on someone...sadly not the bloodsucker, yet.
Barking angrily at him, she took off running towards the nearest sniper. Oh yes, she would enjoy this day, enjoy the hunt again. It had truly been too long. The leeches scent was burned into her memory, she would find him again, after her fun was over, and kill him.

The Paladin was looking through his binocular's. He had only shot once, but he had obviously been caught by his scent.
"We have a werewolf, sir." The man said over the radio, he hated talking over the radio, "And what appears to be a vampire in the distance. I think we found the jackpot if you don't mind me saying, sir."
A voice came over the radio, loud and quite excited, "Yes men! Today we kill more then the freaks, but also the creatures of night! I have trained your for this day! Snipers would do well to be prepared for anything. It appears our enemies have tricks up their sleeves!"
"Yes, sir!" The soldier said, connecting his radio back to it's holster. He pulled out his silver knife and silver cross. He had jumped out of the tree, he was quite a ways out from the wolf so he set his knife and cross on the ground next to him and pulled his rifle out. "Got you in my cross hairs wolfy."
He squeezed the trigger, aiming for the chest of the beast running towards him. He cast aside his rifle, grabbing his knife and silver cross, he had heard folklore of silver, as well as plenty other stories. Of course, his leader had told him to believe in it, so he did. But he couldn't help but wonder, if all the folklore was true, how did this beast manage to transform when it wasn't a full moon?

"A dog?" Marquise began to laugh, "I had heard the rumors but I didn't know they were true! So that's what the scent of a dog is like...... well, I best go introduce myself, assuming it won't be too hostile with me....."
The werewolf ran towards where the sniper must have been, "Showoff. I could have sniffed him out if I had been so uncivilized." Marquise ran towards the wolf, attempting to catch up in time to get to the sniper. He wasn't afraid of a sniper, bullets didn't kill him. He had tested that theory when his mansion was raided by those religious freaks.
"Hey! Wait up, don't kill him, I need him alive for just a little, you hear me Lassie?" Marquise yelled out, he wished he could change into an animal, but sadly it was hard enough going from tall to short. He would never be able to turn into an animal. He'd never have the power for it.
He thought he heard a shot ring out, but he paid no attention. Instead he pressed on ahead to help the wolf fight the shooter, and to see who this shooter was. He was mostly curious to see who would attack this school. He had to be sure he was safe here after all. He put his game face on, busting out the fangs, the red eyes, not bothering to hide his pale skin. Instead focusing on the attack.
"Looks like I might get a little lunch after all."

They ran, they dodged, they almost got shot a few times. Alaya wasn't ready to die just yet, not that a bullet would kill her, it might, it might not. She wasn't as resilient as her father was. But she inherited just about everything from him. Including, certain powers. Regeneration to the n'th degree. Yet, she wasn't about to sacrifice Lina for herself.
"В здесь Lina!"
In here Lina!
Alaya slammed against a door, luckily it swung inwards. Alaya was inside, and relatively safe. Now all she had to do was requisition a weapon, from somewhere, and she could do some serious damage to whoever was attacking. A gun, preferably of the Alma-Ata Kalashnikov series. She had stock in that gun.
A knife would do, or a dagger. Something, anything.
"Мы должны найти Natasha, мы должны поразить назад…"
We have to find Natasha, we have to strike back...
Alaya didn't know where her sister was, she didn't know where Lina's mother was. They were in the school building with classes. Alaya wasn't even sure Natasha was in the same building. She went over and ducked into a classroom. It was safer than being in the middle of the entryway.
"Lina, текст Natasha, спрашивает ей где она, мы идем к ей."
Lina, text Natasha, ask her where she is, we'll go to her.

Lina was right behind Alaya when the girl ran into the building. She slid on the ground on her knees, keeping her head down. Her pants had some tears in them, but she didn't have time to even really think about it. The red head did as she was told and texted her mother as quickly as possible. Her slender fingers flying across the letters.
After that Lina removed things that would get in her way. The bracelets discarded on the ground, as well as the jacket with all the straps. She wanted to stay mobile, and didn't want anything catching on random objects to hold her in one spot. They may be inside, but that didn't mean the snipers couldn't follow. The less things, the better off she was.
A few moments passed, and there wasn't a reply.
"Mom's not answering."
She replied in Russian. Mom had taught her Russian, Dad had taught her Arabic. On top of her English, she could float her way through some pretty odd countries. If she ever wanted to go to any of them. Then she had to wonder... was her dad here today? She sent another text message off to him as well, hoping he was. Dad would be able to help just as much as mom.
