They are so screwed.
Purple hair spun lazily in air, drifting in the slight breeze as it hung upside down. The black leather of suit clung to her curvy body like a second skin, hugging in all the right places. Even her stiletto heels twinkled in the shared glee of their owner.
Today was a big day for her.
It was her first class.
Guns dangled from holsters and buckles, the goggles she had on, black as night and scoping the gym floor were glinting in the florescent lights.
Chuckling mildly she loaded her fifty caliber rifle and aimed it at the door. When the little dears came in all dressed down and raring to go work out they would wonder where Artemis was.
The would also fail to look in one direction.
Up.
And there she was, dangling from the ceiling support beams hanging upside down with a sniper rifle aimed at the door. She was strapped in via bungee cable to the beams, her hair swinging as she loaded her weapon.
Artemis had this all planned out. She had been suspended from the beams for roughly two hours now, preparing everything on her person at this very moment for class.
Stun grenades.
Rubber bullets galore.
Sniper rifle.
Shotgun (in case she had to chase down some kids.)
And of course her lovely little pistols.
They were there for fun. Execution style is the only way to knock out a kid the fun way.
Artemis had gotten up early this morning, something she almost never does. Then she raided the school's armory, her own private armory, and then the mess hall.
A certain gym teacher never went anywhere without a few beers and hotdog.
And now that she was fed and slightly intoxicated she was excited for her first class.
Oh, were her students screwed.
Artemis hushed her laughter as the bell rang.
Time for class.

Matrim had been the cause of death before, he had been the cause of death for two gang members. Bullets seem to have a negative effect on his Qi, the force of their movement causes them to ricochet off him, or they did then, instantly killing the two who had shot him. Of course this was different. This was cold blooded killing. He had just left the scene. Not a few minutes later he walked to class, the grin on his face as well as the blood on it and his hands. He was wearing the hospital scrubs he had grabbed from the infirmary over his gym shorts, shoeless. He walked to where his gym class was supposed to meet.
Good... cus I am pumping with adrenaline I could use some excitement to get this out of me.
Clearly in shock, but clearly a little out of it. After all, it was just before that when he lost a fight to Alex and needed some medical attention, which Micha gave him before he killed her. He was now running on pure adrenaline and the buzz from all the pure oxygen and meds he had been given.
"Where the hell is this teacher? I want to get started already!" Matrim said wiping his hands on the grass having knelt down onto one knee. He thought he heard something but he just shrugged it off as his imagination.

The last time she'd come through these doors, it hadn't ended well for another student...on a good note, but in a bad way. Several crippled nerve clusters and the like. Oh well, the guy had broken her glasses, which wasn't cool anyway, so her actions could have said to be justified.
Lunari once again, dressed in her tech lab garb, roamed the halls, using the gym as a shortcut. A small bell rang a little around her neck, and her beret kept otherwise crazy blonde hair in check. Unfortunately, it might not matter in a few moments. Lunari entered the door of the gym...taking in what she saw.
A single student, and his puzzled look. It was just likely he was in the wrong place. St. Paragon was none the less a confusing place to say the least. At least there wasn't any fights going on. Needless however, something was amiss.
Wait... Wait for it...
Gym Class.
Where was Artemis? Or to be more analytical, where was her entire class? She was early...maybe that explained the class, but Artemis wasn't the one to be late to anything...was she?

Austin made his way to his least favorite class.
P.E....., he thought to himself, I've always done so badly except for the swimming... in the water I'm great, but I'm just not that tough. I can run, pretty fast, but lifting weights, doing pushups and pullups, just not that great.
"Umm...." He said noticing a girl who was short like he was, but seemed slightly older for some reason, "Is.... this..... the room for P.E.?"
He looked around and saw the blue haired kid from a couple of his classes, he had blood all over him, small amounts all over, but a lot on one of his hands.
Oh my god... is he a hospital worker or something? Austin wondered as he looked around for a teacher, making the assumption the small girl might be the teacher.

Jeremy walked through the doors, his massive frame taking up the entry way, he cracked his neck, eyes scanning over the students who were already here. Matt, someone else he didnt know, and another girl..wait, no, that was the teacher who had beat his ass the last time he was in here. He didnt say anything to any of them, instead turning to the right and stepping off to the side and waiting for more people to enter. Where the hell was the teacher?
Then he heard something.
A soft, subtle, but totally noticable noise.
His eyes shot up to where the sound came, his alarm rising as he noticed a completly black outfitted person, the light around them reflecting off the gun she held.
'Shit' he thought. He didnt move, opting instead to play like he didnt see them, though he did. He pushed off the wall clmly, walking directly over to where matt stood, then bent down to his ear.
"Look up and a little to the right. Tell me what you see." His voice was calm, and he didnt look to where he said, instead standing up straight and putting his hand in his pockets. Once the person noticed she was discovered, bullets would rain, he was sure of that.

Sephora sprinted down the hall. She didn't want to be late to PE, as she had never had a PE class before. All of these experiences were new for her, the school experience that is. Sephora had seen Ms. Chekov at orientation and was completely terrified of the woman. Of course, she had never let anyone know that, but the woman scared her so much. Sephora had only ever encountered people like her on the various times her father had hired assassins to take care of his rivals.
Reaching the gym, her black yoga pants went just past her knees, her pale green puma's matching her pale green nike athletic tanktop. Dark hair pulled into a thick ponytail, she began humming to herself. Entering the gym, her voice fell silent. Standing in front of her was Matrim, a boy from a few other classes, and he had blood all over him. Her eyes were wide as she tried not to stare, seeing the scared boy from her english class and an equally short girl standing beside him. Looking around, Sephora saw no sign of the terrifying woman that was to be their teacher.
Looking down at her watch, she saw that class should be starting soon. Walking over to Matrim, she forced herself to ignore the blood, as she had done before when seeking help for her injured bodyguards, and was about to ask where the teacher was.
Instead, Jeremy appeared from the shadow of the wall and whispered something to Matrim. She walked over and smiled up at the tall boy, "Hello boys."

Jeremy glanced over at the girl who had approached almost at the same time he did. He remembered her from some...class he had gone to recently...his thoughts were a little fuzzy on the matter, and it hurt to think about it, so he stopped, instead whispering to her the same thing he said to Matt. "Take a look up and to the right. don't make it obvious"
He liked sephora, she seemed like a decent person, though he couldn't much remember why. He considered her almost a friend, but not like he considered Matt a friend. He would fight along side Matt as a stable, good friend. He would fight along side sephora because she was a female, and there was potential there, but not because he was her friend.
Standing back up straight, he calmly walked around to the other side of Sephora, stretching to make it less obvious. Matt looked to be able to handle himself...hell, he looked eager to handle himself with the way he was looking, but if worse came to worse, sephora would take the brunt of it, and he didn't want her hurt anymore than any girl.

Matrim was too busy to notice Jeremy telling him something. He was starting to get dizzy again. The high from every bit of oxygen mixed with the potent amount of adrenaline was wearing off. He also could feel the pain in his chest come back, as well as a slight amount of realization of what he had done.
"I.... I killed... someone...." He said to himself, "I think I just killed someone...."
It was quiet, and more of him realizing what he had done with a clear head. He suddenly felt tired, the room felt like it was spinning, everything felt like a dream. Just a bad dream he had to shake off. Something caused by medicine, he would wake up and it'd be just fine.
"Up? Look up?" Matrim looked but as his vision blurred, he saw nothing. He thought he saw a shadow, but it was just one of the beams causing a shadow, had to be, "Don't know what your talking about, are you seeing stuff?"
This isn't real so I shouldn't worry.
Matrim realized his Qi was acting up, his shield was activating in certain areas while it was deactivating in others. It was a slight change in color, you could see the seems of his Qi along his skin, the blood had began to disapear, there was only a slight stain on the scrubs and still some caked up dry blood on his hands.
See. It's all in your head Matt... it's all in your head....

Crimson eyes flashed as the students began to file in. A tiny girl, another little girl, two boys, one covered in blood. And then, things got interesting. One of those certain students who had gained the honor of perking her interest walked in.
Jeremiah, what a silly little boy. One who seems to be unfazed by rubber bullets splattering his body.
What a shame, it looked like she would have to bring out the big guns after all.
Artemis knew the teenage monstrosity had noticed her. And now the worm was informing the other students.
How annoying.
Purple hair swished in the empty hair as Artemis shook her head. She just couldn't let the boy ruin her fun.
So she thought she'd inform the class of her location.
Now time to pick a target.
Jeremiah?
Nah.
Austin?
Too boring.
Little Matrim?
Too dazed.
Sephore?
Not quite.
Lunari?
Why the hell not?
Smirking, Artemis cocked the rifle back, she didn't even have to aim for the space between the eyes, shots like that came naturally to the gym teacher. After all, it was what she was born for.
The fifty caliber bullet exploded from the barrel with a shock that could make thunder weep in envy. The sound cracked along the empty walls of the gym, a lovely ear-shattering sound,
The rubber bullet smacked the little girl in the head as Artemis tumbled gracefully from her perch. The black bungee cable twisted like a snake under her. Grinning ear to ear, Artemis confronted her class.
Naturally with a shotgun in hand.
" Hello there kiddies. Don't move."
A pink tongue came out and licked glossy lips as the gym teacher looked over her class so far. As of now, they were all dressed up. God help any other kid who came in now. They were all late.
" Now then....let's get started on the rules"

Okay, now something was wrong, students' eyes were drifting to the upper portion of the gym, but now lost in her work, was tinkering with her glasses with a small screwdriver. A tweak here, and a tinker there was all it took for the upgrade. Simple as that. Okay...now back...alright, really, what was going on?
Lunari, in her curiosity, stared to the upper portion of the gym, along with many of the students, and sure enough, something was up there...but what the hell was it? A person? Maybe...but how would a person get up there like that. She thought a moment...maybe it was just the janitor or something, or a security bot looking for something.
Wait.
Security.
Security meant guns.
Guns meant...
*BOOM!*
The slug smashed into Lunari's head like an oncoming miniaturized freight train. Guns meant Artemis... Caught unawares, and without any prior warning, she had little choice but to embrace the pain that came with a dense round like that. Letting out a yelp, she fell flat on her back, teeth gritted in pain, barely moving. Her beret had landed a couple feet back, and the glasses she had been working on, shattered once again on the ground.
This was certainly not her day...

Matrim smelled the blood on his hands and watched as Lunari was shot in the head.
"Blood? More..... blood... and death?" He didn't doubt it. Afterall, this was all just a dream as far as he was concerned, "No... rubber bullets.... or else she has the skull of superman...."
Matrim watched as the teacher came down with a shotgun. He wondered what she was planning.
QI ACTIVATE NOW!
His Qi was still on the fritz, he managed to cover his face and his groin and part of his thigh, the rest was very small sporadic parts. To others it would appear like he had a really strange tan, like somebody had just thrown a handful of spray on tan in his face, since that's the only skin that was revealed besides his hands which weren't covered at all by the Qi power. No matter how hard he tried to concentrate, he was two seconds away from passing out if he even managed to get it active. Because he wasn't getting the toughness he usually got. He was just getting the shield part.
"Rules. What rules? There are no rules to life." Matrim thought he was dreaming, so why the hell not. He approached the teacher, standing two feet in front of her, squared off, he dropped the scrub pants to reveal gym shorts, since the scrubs were restrictin how far he could stretch his legs. This showed the parts of Qi covering his lower thigh and part of his left knee. "All I see is a sadistic purple haired trigger happy woman with a leather fetish aching for a blood bath."
The blood on his hands and scrub shirt was all gone now. He realized that he might be waking up. He realized he might just be in PE.
"Of course.... I mean that in a very respectful way...."
My face probably looks like a big ass bullseye to her right now.....

Sephora opened her mouth to say something when Jeremy whispered to look up without being obvious. Sliding her eyes to the ceiling, the girl froze when she saw the purple-haired woman dangling from the ceiling with guns pointed at them. She didn't move or make any movements that would indicate she knew that the teacher was up there, for she was afraid of the woman's wrath. Turning to say something to Matrim, she closed her mouth as she realized that most of the blood had dissapeared.
Opening her mouth once more to speak, nothing came out for the girl threw herself to the ground in a crouch, becoming a smaller target. Gunshots rang out and Sephora had been taught to get on the ground behind one of her bodyguards when she heard the noise, and with Jeremy being so large it was instinct to duck behind him.
Peeping around the large man, she saw that Lunari, the tiny girl across the room, had flown to the ground, rubber bullets scattered around her person. So, putting two and two together, Sephora realized who had been the target of Ms. Chekov's attack. Biting her bottom lip, Sephora wondered what would happen, for the woman had dropped to the ground. What would their class be like?? Before she could open her mouth to ask, though, Matrim moved forward and confronted the woman.
"All I see is a sadistic purple haired trigger happy woman with a leather fetish aching for a blood bath." Sephora's shapely jaw dropped at the boy's words. "Of course.... I mean that in a very respectful way...." He seemed to have realized his own words, for he now seemed to shrink under the terrifying woman's gaze.

Smiling wickedly, Artemis looked over the kid. Matrim. Qi power was a shield over his body. The teacher was an ex member of highly trained military group. She had done her homework on her students.
Artemis knew everything there was to know about them.
Without missing a beat, a bone sliced through the rubber of her stiletto heel. It shot straight into the floor, causing a small hole where it popped through the shoe.
" Naughty boy, you might want to check the shit that comes out of your mouth before you say it."
Not even looking at him, Artemis swung her leg at the kid's head. It would hit him in the jaw, the bone would cut deep into pale skin. It would teach him to keep his pretty mouth closed around her.
Ignoring him after the attack, Artemis turned to her class.
" Rule one, no talking back."
Her red eyes scanned the class. Poor little kiddies. They hadn't a chance in world surviving this class intact.
Weak, pathetic angsty teenagers.
" And for you information darling, it's not a leather fetish...it's a pain thing."
The bone in her foot snapped back into her body. She could pull any bone from any part of her body to attack them. It was best if they kept that in mind.
" Now, let's play a game."

Everything was completely blurry, his vision was fading, he felt like going to sleep. And then he was introduced kindly to a foreign object which ripped his jaw like it was looking for the prize inside.
Shit.... too much....
Blood, he smelt it. Unbeknownst to him he was kicked so hard he nearly passed out. He stumbled awhile and fell by Lunari, face down, bleeding. It was at this point he took a nice long nap. Afterall, he had been through a lot today. Whatever happened now, he couldn't prevent, or change in any way.
Matrim Gallagher, was unconcious.

Jeremy watched the girl duck behind him, then raised an eyebrow as Matt stepped forward and began mouthing off to the teacher. He remembered Artemis, and he also knew that mouthing off to her would only get you hurt even worse. He sighed as her leg slammed into his jaw, sending him sprawling. He started forward, scooping up his body. He turned to Artemis. He knew he was probably the only one here who wasn't afraid of the psychotic woman.
"He's half delirious Artemis, you could have given him a little more warning." He turned his back to her. Walking over to the wall, he set Matt down, leaning him against it. He couldn't halt the bleeding that was pouring from his mouth, so he just left him there, returning back to stand in front of Sephora. He looked down at her as he stepped up.
"Worse comes to worse, you stay behind me, ill take those hits for you." He didn't have any sort of caring tone in his voice, instead opting for the calm, none feeling vocal era. He was moved that she would hide behind him, and motivated by her fear. He didn't know what he would or could do for her, but he would try. No female deserves that fate, and, like he said earlier, he kinda took a liking to sephora.
He looked at Artemis.
"What kinda game you got in mind, Artemis? One that ends up with us being in pain, no doubt." His voice wasnt tantalizing, or provocative, just unfeeling, almost the exact same voice he used on sephora.
