Jeremy stood, the group of thirty kids standing before him. He had come from the library, reading once more, when he walked out to find these boys all standing before him, chains, bats, and knives in hands. One in particular came forward, a fellow who held a metal bat in his hands, and had a lip ring on his bottom lip. He glared at Jeremy, his eyes betraying the hatred he felt toward the living mountain before him. "Why did you kill my brother asshole?" Was the words that dripped like venom from his lips. Jeremy grinned. "I was fulfilling a promise." The boys attacked. Jeremy unloaded blow after blow, kids flying, blood and teeth crashing together. Within ten minutes half the students who were attacking him lay sprawled everywhere, and the rest backed away wisely. They fanned out, surrounding him, which for Jeremy, wasn't good. Three kids at once, from different directions. He slammed his fist into the face of the one in front of him, then twisted his whole body as he unleashed a devastating blow to the other one on his left with his elbow. The third boys bat hit him in the stomach, sending him smashing through a fence and creating cuts all over his body. He rolled to his feet just as another kid charged him. He grabbed the boy, picking him up and slamming him into the ground, cracks leaping up around the fellows back. A chain struck him in the face. Blood flew from his mouth. He grabbed the chain before it could retract, ripping it from the grasp that held it and spun, smashing it into another kid who charged him. He ducked under a bat, wrapped the chain around the bat holders neck, and twisted up and back, breaking his neck. There were ten left, and Jeremy was getting tired. Three attacked, and before they reached him, he grabbed a massive limb nearby, tearing it from the tree. He swung it, the three kids smashing through the near-by library wall. Seven. He took a bat to the face. He grabbed the bat holder, twisted the bat from his grip and stuffed it down his throat. Six. Two dead. A knife in the ribs, almost unfelt. A punch to the kids face. Five. The kid who spoke attacked him next, his bat hitting his right knee, shattering it. He stumbled forward, and as he did so threw a punch to the kids neck. Three dead. The other four, seeing Jeremy on his feet with they're leaders bat in one hand and a tree limb the size of they're thigh in the other, fled. Jeremy grinned, looking around himself. He fell to the ground, unconscious. OOC(( this thread WILL move from place to place. Just a warning ))

Reira was walking in the grassy field near the courtyard. It wasn't a bad day, but it wasn't exactly sunshine and daisies either. She didn't mind overcast days like this though, as long as it didn't rain. Rain wasn't a friend to her mood today.
As she walked, she primarily kept her eyes on her feet. Not really paying attention to anything that was going on around her..until she heard a big commotion towards the courtyard area. Curiosity edging her on, she glaced in the direction she heard the noise emitt from and was shocked to see a big group of students trudge towards a very very tall fella like a pack of scavanging wolves.
She couldn't remember how many times her mind repeated 'Curiosity killed the cat' over and over..but she just shook it off and told herself she was not a cat and that she would not die today. Taking off at a small run, she hid behind a sturdy looking tree and took in the scene.
"Why did you kill my brother asshole?" Said a boy with a too large lip ring. She didn't like it, it needed to be smaller, like hers. "I was fulfilling a promise." Said the giant guy and just like that, a fight had began. Well if one could call it a fight. It was more like an assault on the tall person.
"Wait..sto..--" Her voice was drowned out of course, by the brawling fiasco. A kid had flew right past her and landed unconscience not more then a few feet beside her, his face a bloody mess. She found herself hugging the tree as multiple bodies soared through the air, some even smacking the front of the tree itself.
There was absolutly nothing that Reira could do. She stood only a little bit taller then 5'5 and all the other people here were much taller than herself, especially the giant guy who dominated the lot of idiots. Not to mention, the fact that all these people were probably twice her size. Yet, she still felt like she was olbliged to stop this ..well..bloody massacre.
Then the giant mass of muscle seemed to reach his limit. He went beserk in Reira's eyes. In a matter of seconds he had killed three of his offenders, frightening the other four away in a series of brutally inhumane actions.
Her knuckles had turned white from holding the bark of the tree so hard...she was shaking badly. Her legs managed to wobble her forward, stepping over bloody bodies of all sorts. She could already feel liquid seeping into the soles of her shoes.
She approached him tentively. He was just staring, directly at her, but it was almost as if she was invisible to him. Then it happened. As soon as his face fell to hit the ground in front of him, the spirits of those he killed rushed out of their bodies, screaming in torment and agony. They were angry, and they took their anger out on her. She could feel them, hear them, it was painful.
Clasping her hands over her ears, she let out a long scream, one that she didn't know she was holding. "HELP!" After her first scream, the tormented souls had left her be, and now she screamed help because the burly man in front of her could be dead soon. Something she did not want. Surely someone could hear her...if not there was her MAC.

Riley was lounging in a tree near the courtyard, but he wasn't close enough to see the fight that was happening, his mind was elsewhere. A light breeze sprang up and blew through the branches of the tree, sending leaves falling down, some of them passing right through Riley. His eyes were closed, his headphones hanging around his neck. Moment ago he had been listening to his music, completely tuned out from the world around him. Now, he was just listening to the wind blow quietly through the leaves.
His relaxing moment was cut short however, as a scream cut right through the silence. "HELP!" " What the...!?" Riley exclaimed, the scream so loud he fell out of the tree, managing to catch himself in mid-air. " That scream...where did it come from? And why does it sound so..." he mused, before coming to a chilling realization. He recognized the voice as..."Reira." he immediately dashed across the school ground, towards the courtyard where Reira's screams had come from. He moved as quickly as he could, the scenery a blur.
As he continued running, he ran right into something, something that sent him falling backwards. "!?" was his reaction, as he held his head. " What the heck?" he looked up, and his face went pale, literally. He could see spirits, tormented spirits, and they surrounded Reira. " Get away from her!" he shouted, channeling the spiritual energies surrounding him and firing a concentrated beam at them, sending them away. He had managed to send them away, but he was slightly exhausted from it. He walked over to Reira, breathing hard, but still managed to speak.
" Reira...are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?" They, that he was referring to, were the tormented spirits he had sent away. He placed a hand on her shoulder, even though she couldn't feel it, but he still did it anyways. Riley turned his head, and saw bloody bodies scattered everywhere, what had happened here? His eyes however, were drawn to one particular guy, one BIG guy, who was out cold, looking like he was going to die.
" Reira, what happened here?" he asked her, looking back at her. He wished he could hold and comfort her, but as a ghost, he had no such privilege, all he could do was comfort her with words. " It'll be alright, I'll go find help alright? Don't move anywhere okay?" Riley turned to glance at the big guy before he would leave.

Jeremy's eyes popped open, the added oxygen and time giving his brain enough energy to restart his motor functions. He pushed himself to his knees, blood sloshing from around the knife at his side. In front of him was a girl, looking terrified. He reached around, touching the knife, sending blinding pain through the cuts along his chest and back. His face was bruised, blood dripping from his chin after his cheek had been violently smashed into his teeth and cut open by them. He looked around. Nobody but him and her
"Exscuse me, there wouldnt be any chance you would have any medical knowledge, would there? I seem to have a knife stuck in my ribcage and i would bet, within another ten or twenty minutes, im going to faint from lack of blood."
He was sure she didnt know anything about medicine, since his luck was just shitty like that. He looked up and around himself, content with fainting rather than using his powerful voice to call for help. He waited, thinking maybe this girl would be willing to go for some help.

"Some guy just killed off three of our gang members!"
Matrim heard as a kid ran into the hallway of the boys dorm. He was walking outside to go see if Reira was up to anything.
"The guy was huge! One of them managed to get a knife in him though, lets go finish his ass off!"
"Yeah!" chimed in another kid.
"Uh," Matrim said, "You wouldn't happen to be talking about Jeremy, would you?"
"Yeah!" Said the first kid who had red hair. Matrim counted two kids, and then he turned around to see a few more gathering to go finish the job that the rest of their gang was going to do. One of them had a knife.
"Oh now that doesn't seem fair," Matrim said, "Four on one? and a weak one at that? Tell you what!"
Matrim activated his Qi, and headbutted the first kid three times in a row, "Fight me instead, and then you can go pick on Jeremy."
The remaining three rushed Matrim, the one with the knife attempted to stab him, the knife stopped at the shield, "Oh kid, your going to regret that in the morning."
Matrim grabbed the kids wrist and twisted it until it snapped and he let go of the knife. The other two rushed at him and he ducked, pulling the kid who had the knife in the crossfire of punches. "Two down....."
Matrim then let go of the kids wrist and reached out with both hands grabbing the necks of the remaining two and pulled them towards each other in one swift jerking motion, causing their heads to collide, "And done...."
Matrim ran outside and heard Reira calling out.
"HELP!"
"I'M ON MY WAY REIRA!" Matrim called, seeing her in the distance he ran towards the scene, before too long he made out Jeremy's big figure. Jeremy managed to get up and say something to Reira he couldn't hear, but then he got within distance of them.
"Hey big lug, let's say we get you out of here!" Matrim said, "Like to somewhere with a bandaid for that scratch you got."
Matrim wasn't exactly the best when it came to medical stuff, and he wasn't sure if he should be moving Jeremy, but if he didn't Jeremy would probably bleed pretty badly. He grabbed Jeremy's arm with his left hand, pulling his body over his shoulder, and put his right arm between Jeremy's knees, it was a firemans carry, allowing him to lift Jeremy's weight, even though he was quite the big kid. Matrim activated his Qi, toughening himself up for the long task.
"Hey Reira, let's get to the infirmary. Sound OK to you big guy?"
I guess I owed him one, this might make up for it assuming he lives.

The echoes of her scream rivulated back towards her, sounding like an unfamiliar person. She was surprised to see that the spirits had suddenly dissapeared and left her alone. Her powers were beneficial at times, but they could aslo prove to be dangerous. Becuase of her acute senses, spirits were drawn to her, both good and bad.
"Reira...are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?" Hearing this had startled her. The voice came from right behind her and she was half expecting to see more tormented spirits. Turning around suddenly, she sighed in relief to see a familiar face, Riley. She realized, that Riley must have been the one who scared off the other spirits.
"Riley!" she said, running out to embrace him. Her arms folded around his torso with the activation of her Qi. Pulling away she began to explain. "No they didn't hurt me too much, but this guy here needs help!," she said pointing to the big man. Her composure was beginning to restore itself in the pressense of Riley.
"Reira, what happened here?" "I don't know the reason behind it, but all these people you see here began to fight the big guy. It ended like this." "It'll be alright, I'll go find help alright? Don't move anywhere okay?" She nodded. "Okay, come back soon. I don't know how bad he is injured."
She contemplated leaving with Riley to look for help, but changed her mind. She couldn't just leave the big guy alone. What if something happened? What if the other 4 people he scared off came back to finish him off in his current state? Besides, Riley could fly, she would only slow him down. Pacing, she wished for Riley to come back soon. He was a spirit, but a smart spirit. He would bring help.
Turning to face the big guy, she was literally shocked to see him trying to speak to her."Exscuse me, there wouldnt be any chance you would have any medical knowledge, would there? I seem to have a knife stuck in my ribcage and i would bet, within another ten or twenty minutes, im going to faint from lack of blood." She was hesitant at first, but came to kneel down beside him.
"I'm sorry I can't be of much help. I don't know anything medical. But please, try not to talk or move to much. I have a friend who is going to get some help," she answered him, with genuine worry in her voice. In the faint distance, she could have sworn she heard Matrim's voice. Her suspicions were true. Matrim came running towards them. She felt yet another wave of relief.
"I'm so glad you are here," she said to Matrim, as he picked up the guy. "Hey Reira, let's get to the infirmary. Sound OK to you big guy?" She nodded, walking beside the two.

Jeremy nodded as the girl spoke, wondering briefly who else she was talking to before she realized he was awake. Maybe he was delerious, who knows. Thats when Mat came running, and jeremy laughed.
"Matrim, bout time you got here." He looked around at all the bodies. "If i would have known you were coming, i would have left some meat for you to eat up. Never around when i need you, you bastard." He said it all with a grin, then shot his eyebrows up when Mat tried to pick him up.
"No no, what the fuck are you doing? I aint that weak!" He tossed his arm over mat's shoulder, not letting him pick him up, instead allowing the fellow to support some of his weight. There was no way in hell he was going to be caught dead being carried by anyone, anywhere, even by mat. He looked over at the girl, reira mat had called her, and then back to mat.
"Well well, seems you got yourself a woman! Congradulations bud, you got one that aint half bad lookin'!" he said, with a wink at mat and reira. He was in a particularly good mood, especially since being in one helped him to ignore the pain, where as if he were angry or agitated it would worsen it.
"How long you two love-birds been together?" He asked as they hobbled to the infirmiry. It was probably a bad time to be talking about it, but hey, why give a damn, right? There was a chance he could die tonight, and if that was the case, he wasnt going to worry about offending anyone or looking rediculous.

"Fine tough guy, take some of the weight, just thought I could use some more exercise." Matrim said, letting Jeremy return to the ground. If he wanted to be tough and stubborn, Matt wasn't about to keep him from doing so. After all, he was very much the same way when it came to injuries. "Turns out there were four other members who high tailed back to the boys dorms to get others. I think their all unconscious now, but I'd say you upped the ante by killing yours. Of course I also didn't get stabbed. They tried to stab me, but they failed."
Matrim winked to Reira since she knew about his Qi and would understand why the kids failed, "Well now, it hasn't been too long at all really. So what the hell man? What'd you do to piss off these guys? These kids don't even have Qi abilities, you should have wrecked them assuming you have one."
Especially since you pissed them off enough to want to kill you, it's one thing to get in a heated fight with one person, when a group is coming after you, you would have to have pissed off the wrong person somehow.
"You know, there's a way to avoid stuff like this too. It's called protection. Getting friends who can help you in situations like this so I don't have to smell your arm pits every time some punk gives you a shiny souvenir in the back."
Matrim saw the infirmary, it wasn't too far off. It was the place where Matrim first saw Jeremy. They were standing there, wondering what the hell this tower was, they didn't realize that the first floor was an infirmary, if they had they might not have just stood there for so long trying to figure out what the hell it was.

"Riley!" He heard her cry out his name, and saw her run out, and...embrace him? Around his waist? " Whoa!" he exclaimed as soon as she made contact with him. She then pulled away, and he got down on one knee as she explained to him what happened. "No they didn't hurt me too much, but this guy here needs help!"Well of course, even Riley could tell that much. "I don't know the reason behind it, but all these people you see here began to fight the big guy. It ended like this." He then straightened up, and told her he would go get help.
"Okay, come back soon. I don't know how bad he is injured." He saw her look like she wanted to go with him, but he thought it'd be better if she stayed here with the big guy. Riley, as he flew off, looked back, and saw another guy come running, he was close enough to hear the guy say something. "I'M ON MY WAY REIRA!" And then it clicked in his mind. He realized that guy and Reira were..." Now I see..." Riley thought, as he turned his head forward, now it made sense.
Oh well, no point dwelling on it right? He reached the Infirmary in no time flat, but how to inform the nurse? He couldn't just walk up and ask, no one could see him, and honestly, even if they could see him, he didn't feel like giving someone a heart attack. A student nearby however, answered his question. He dove into the guy's body, taking control of him and entered into the infirmary. He reached the nurse's office, and bursted in without warning.
" I need the nurse now! Someone's been injured!" he shouted in the guy's voice. As soon as they heard what he said, the assistants began prepping for the patient. Message delivered, he walked out of the Tower, but not before doing one last thing while he had the chance. Taking a piece of paper and a pen from the guy's bag, he wrote a note to Reira, and folded it, writing her name on it and left it on one of the benches in the Infirmary lobby. The note said,
Reira, I'm sorry, I didn't know.
- Riley
Exiting from the guy's body after he was finished, Riley flew away from the infirmary where he had left the note, and descended into the forest. He found their old tree, where they had first met and lounged in it, he just wanted to sit and not think about anything, being a ghost helped, he could be alone for a long while and no one could see him.

Reira just walked quietly beside Matrim and his friend that he helped carry to the infirmary. She still hadn't figured out his name, but she assumed that Mat would tell her sooner or later, or maybe he would introduce himself. They seemed very chummy, so she felt no need to interrupt their amusing conversation, even though it was a tad bit weird to see the big guy in such a good mood with a knife protruding from his ribcage.
"Well well, seems you got yourself a woman! Congradulations bud, you got one that aint half bad lookin'!" Now, she felt the need to interrupt. "How very observant of you to call me a woman and to comment on my looks, but didn't I tell you to stop talking bub?," she said with an amused grin on her face. Things like this didn't really bother her, she was used to different types of humour, having a weird one herself.
"How long you two love-birds been together?" "Well now, it hasn't been too long at all really. So what the hell man? What'd you do to piss off these guys? These kids don't even have Qi abilities, you should have wrecked them assuming you have one." Matrim had answered this for her followed by a question of his own. Which was a question that Reira wanted to know the answer to as well.
That answer would have to wait, for they had arrived at the infirmary. She decided that she would run the rest of the way there, to inform the nurse of their coming. "I'll let the nurse know that she will be having a visitor," she said, runing to the infirmary doors and entereing. Only she found that her job had already been done for her.
"Are you the injured student?," the nurse or nurses assistant had asked her. "No, they are still on their way...," she said, a tad bit confused at how they would have known. On her way back to the door, she saw a student that looked very confused with a seemingly bad headache. Her eyebrow raised.
A possession? It has to be..since I'm feeling lingering spiritual energies. Riley.. Where are you?
In a ponderous mood, Reira waited at the door to let Matrim and his friend in.

If Reira had looked up at that moment, she would've seen Riley flying off towards their old tree. He had landed in its branches and was currently lounging in it. He had left a note for her in the Infirmary lobby, and knowing her, she could probably sense the spiritual energies left on it, he had possessed a student's body to write his message, his simple message. Was Riley feeling sad right now? No. Did he feel like crying? Surprisingly, no. Truth be told, he was glad Reira was his friend, and nothing would change his feelings about that.
He stared up into the sky, watching the leaves dance above him, sunlight shining through the branches. He sighed quietly, and closed his eyes. " Reira...be happy. Don't worry about me, just be happy." he thought, opening his eyes. He had already alerted the assistant's at the Infirmary of the situation, so all they had to do was get the injured student there.
" Come to think of it, I didn't get the name of the guy with blue hair. Oh well, whatever." Riley shifted slightly, making sure he wasn't slipping through the tree branch he was lying on, worse thing to happen while your relaxing, falling off, or in his case, falling through. As he drifted off, he heard a faint voice calling out, but who was it calling?

OOC(( sorry its taken so long mates, been busy on a few other sites...i know i say it often but ill try and be more active XD))
Jeremy shrugged at the question. Might as well be honest.
"The leaders brother said some unkind things about my parents. I told him if i caught him out of class id kill him. The fool attacked me in the cafeteria, so i broke the bastards neck. His brother was a little mad at me for it."
He continued limping toward the nursery, blood continuing to flow from the knife wound in his back, grinning over at reira as she gave him a little lip." She's a little feisty mat, better watch out." He said, stopping for a moment as a wave of pain washed over him. He limped on afterward.
"And as for me getting stabbed, i don't have eyes everywhere, and with thirty people attacking me I'm bound to take some shots."
He walked up the steps to the infirmary, thinking a little about mats last piece-him getting some friends to help insure that things like this wouldn't happen.
"If you hadn't noticed, I'm not exactly the most approachable, or the biggest conversationalist. Not many people like me." It was true, he was an asshole. He ignored mats piece about a Qi, since his wasn't much of a damaging type of Qi, it just made people scared to fight him. He finally reached the doors to the infirmary, heading inside as two huge male nurses tried to lift him up to carry him into the bedchamber.
"Get the fuck off me!" He pushed the men who were big but still not as big as him off to the side, walking in on his own.
*Two hours later*
Jeremy came back out the infirmary doors to the protest of the nurse, a large bandage wrapped around his midsection. He still had a limp, but his leg was wrapped up in a support cast, the technology they had here used mechanical and surgical equipment to replace his knee with a solid metal piece in less than half an hour. The nurse tried to tell him he needed to stay in the infirmary.
"Mat, would you tell this bitch to get off my ass? She's starting to piss me off."

"Don't worry about this guy, miss. I'm a lucky guy and I bet he'd live only two more years at this rate, so you can bet your ass you won't have to worry until his junior year, alright?" Matrim turned towards Jeremy, "Luckily one of the guys you killed had two and a half years, which means I have the entire Junior year to myself now."
It was a strange sense of humor, but this was usually how Matrim dealt with stuff like this. He was uncomfortable insulting hospital staff but he wasn't about to piss of Jeremy. He was clearly in a bad mood from the stabbing, and he was the type to project that mood on everyone else.
"You know your getting a nick name because of this, right? Something along the lines of 'stabby' or 'ganky'." Matrim had waited the entire time having done nothing besides drink from his water bottle and plan out a nick name for Jeremy from all of this. He couldn't think of any good original ones.
"Caeser, I like Caeser. Of course, in that story Brutus didn't die, and Caeser did..... but in this version Brutus got his...." Matrim didn't care that student's had died. They brought it on themselves. The first kid he killed? Maybe, maybe not. But you just don't go charging the person who killed your family.
No..... you sneak up on them. You get them in a crafty subtle way, a way that says 'GOTCHA'. You make them know just how pissed you are, and just how glad you are that you got them back. You make them regret it.
Matrim's thoughts drifted to the man he was going to destroy.

Reira just shook her head and smiled inwardly as Matrim helped his big friend through the infirmary doors she held open for them. The two of them together had a lovely sense of humour. It was very amusing. She watched the two of them walk down the hallway as the doors made a soft click behind her. Her amusement didn't last long, not with the lingering energies she was feeling. She was just about to follow Matrim, when she found a neatly folded piece of paper...with her name on it. She picked it up speculatively, and traced the letters of her name with her finger.
Holding the note gently in her hand, she had yet to read it. She knew who it was from, the spiritual energies gave it away. This note..she knew it wouldn't make her smile happily and dance around like a child on Christmas morning. She had entered the room with Matrim and his friend, whom was being attended to, much to his distaste. It was hard to follow their conversation, she was much too intuned to her thoughts, only snapping out of them when she heard the big guy shout fuck angrily every now and then.
Letting out a small sigh, she unfolded the paper and read the note.
Reira, I'm sorry, I didn't know.
- Riley
Her brow furrowed. What was that supposed to mean? What was Riley sorry about? Now she was more then curious, she wanted to know what he meant. "I'm glad your boo boo is all better now," she said to the stab victim, comically. How long had she been standing there thinking? Too long, she missed a lot it seemed. Turning to Matrim she said "If everythings okay now, I have to leave for a bit..I need to check something out. But I'll be back, no worries," she said, smiling..sorta. "Give me 15." With that, she left the room and quickly left the infirmary. Was a it a good time to do this? Probably not. She felt bad for leaving Mat and his friend, but she wasn't really talking now was she. Besides, it would only be a short detour.
Activating her Qi, she saw the trail of spiritual energy in the sky, as she treaded the field. It was very faint, a few minutes longer and she wouldn't be able to see it. Her hunch was correct though, it lead right to a specific tree. All she had to do was look up, to see Riley sitting calmly on a high branch.
"Hey ghost boy," she said looking up. "What are you so sorry about?" Her tone wasn't mad, it was more questioning. An explanation was all that she needed that's all, nothing more.

"Hey ghost boy. What are you so sorry about?" Riley snapped out of his thoughts, and looked down, and saw the last person he wanted to see right now, now, later, who knows. " Reira..." he said quietly, looking away, although he didn't really want to talk, he guess there was no way to avoid it.
" I...I don't know right now. I guess I'm really confused right now. I saw you with that guy, the one with blue hair, and it clicked in my head. You and him are..." he said, trailing off, still looking away, his hair covering his eyes, right now, he didn't really feel like looking at her, not now at least.
" When I first met you, I was happy I had a friend, and over time, those feelings of caring about you as friend sort of, evolved I guess?" he continued, it was hard to explain. " But I told myself I wouldn't let them, even though I really cared about you..." he said, mumbling the last part softly. " And I knew that my feelings...could never be, no matter how much I wish it could. After all, I'm a ghost. But I'm okay now." he said, now looking up at the sky.
" Though honestly, I'm still slightly confused. But I'm almost completely sure that all my feelings are is caring about you, my friend, nothing else." Riley said, finally turning his head to look at her, smiling at her. " So that's what I'm sorry for. " he said, he would never let his feelings turn into something else, for his sake, and for hers.
To sum it up, he was sorry because he cared about her more than just a friend, and realized it could never be. " Does that...answer your question?" Riley asked, turning around and walking off a bit, just to put a bit of distance between him and her.
