History Information
History: Darien grew up in northern Seattle, his father the famous Johnathan Aanul, inventor of a material that can change its feel of warmth and coolness depending on the weather. He is very rich, not only for his other inventions, but because his father (who was an inventor) passed on millions of dollars to his Johnathon. Darien grew up never really knowing the world outside his home. His father wanted the best for him, and so mistakingly shielded him from what he thought would corrupt his son.
Darien, having never really had a life outside, turned a little rebellious and, sneaking out night after night, joined a small neighborhood gang. He packed his bags at age fifteen, and ran away, never telling his father where he was going. While not altogether a bad group of kids, they always did things to appear cool to everyone else, as a way of acceptance. After many house-eggings, TPings, and paintballing of cars, one man finally stepped up. As the car full of kids (along with Darien) drove by in one egging spree, several shots were fired, wounding and killing Dariens best friend.
After that, Darien left the gang scene, having been arrested and sent to Paragon Secondary. Despite his sheltering and gang-lived life-style, darien is altogether fun-loving, smart, caring, and strong. At 18, and having never gone into high-school opting instead to live the gang life, he'll be starting anew as a freshman. He doesn't really have any mental anguish, having spent a few days grieving after his friends death. He now attends Paragon Secondary, in hopes of a new start.
