Jeremy walked calmly through the halls, entering the classrom that his hand-held thingamajig told him was his first class. Jeremy wasnt the most mechanically inclined, but he knew enough to get himself started. Stopping outside the door, he took a little breath, then swung open, ducking down a bit to enter. He was by far the largest person in the room, and, from the looks of things, the strongest. He looked over to the man he had interupted by his entrance, and spoke.
"Sorry im late. Shit happens. You know how it is."
He went to the middle of the class, picking out a desk. He eyed the flimsy chair, doubtful that it would hold his weight. Putting a foot on it, he stood on top of the chair, the joints creaking under his weight. He turned back to the teacher as he stepped down. "Ya think i could get a different chair. I weigh almost three-hundred pounds, and this chairs screaming whenever i put weight on it."
He didnt mind all the eyes turned to him, instead keeping his own eyes locked on the teacher in the front of the room.
'What a way to kick off the year.' he thought bitterly

The Doctor started to read all the papers, he made mental notes of the names and places they wanted to go. A student had just walked in rather late, and with no excuse, although he did apologize. Then briefly asked for a different chair.
"I'm not going to go and fetch you one if that's what you're gettin at. Feel free to find whatever is in this room. Just not my chair, although.... You won't be sitting long. I promise you that. However, if you would, quickly just give us your name, and if you could travel to anytime into the past, twenty years or more, where and when would it be? Don't have to give a why, just the where and when."
I'm particularly torn between William Wallace and the original one I had planned in case nobody had anything interesting..... let's see what this boy chooses....

Swartz sat in a chair at the back of the room, a large book propped open on his desk, the title of DragonLance visable, he turned the page, and looked up as a massive man walked in.
He said nothing, but he reserved all opinions aswell, he simply gathered his thoughts on this new arrival as the Doctor spoke to him, and he closed the book with a snap, using a pencil as a book mark, and placed it in his coat, it appeared the class was about to start. The Doctor actually seemed to be a nice teacher, and history was an interesting subject, best to devot all attention to it now.
OOC: Ha! Beware the Orange haired Ninja! In honesty, It just looked like too much fun to skip out on, so lets pretend that I was always here ;D

Solaris' glasses shifted as more people filed in, he continued to read his book, and he continued to let the Doctor teach his class in his odd manner. He still couldn't see the point in just a twenty five minute class, but open minded as he was, let it go anyway.
Finally, he looked up and shuffled his feet, now interested in giving his own little thoughts on the question. "I want to see my last days in high school, before I died."

The Doctor decided that Solaris' idea was the best one. He then thought about it again, and finally said, "Alright Solaris. Remember what I said about my having a way to take you with me wherever I go? We're about to put that to the test. Everyone wait here!"
The Doctor ran out of the class, running all the way to his TARDIS which he set to go to his class. It roared to life and came into existence in front of the students. The Blue Police box looked like a wooden phone booth to most americans, as well as anyone outside of London in the 60's. The Doctor opened the door and walked out of it, it's rather small size being clear as day. Which would make the following statement all the more confusing,
"EVERYONE GET IN!" The Doctor had never taken this many people before. But there was definitely room. Afterall, the TARDIS was a big room on the inside with a control panel in the center. Enough room for two or three class sizes even though that would be a tight fit. Eventually everyone just stared at the Doctor when one student asked, "But... how will we all fit?"
"Trust me, if you don't all fit I'll pass you all this year and you won't have to do a single assignment, test, or even show up to class."
Immediately everyone rushed towards the box walking in. Some people had to leave, walk around the box, and walk back in. As for the Doctor, he watched in amazement, as so many people were shocked. "Get in then!"
He turned towards Solaris, "I can take you with me, but your Soul will be leaving the school. It will occur, but trust me when I say, it will be less then a millionth of a second. I can guaruntee it. Then it'll be back in the school, back home. You just have to promise not to go power hungry and become megalomaniacal. Because then I'd be forced to trap your soul."
The Doctor didn't listen for a response he walked into the TARDIS with everyone else.
"Listen, you won't be leaving the TARDIS, that's the name of this ship. You will stay INSIDE, everybody make sure you have a good view of the door. Later this year, you might might be able to leave the ship for a few minutes. But as of right now, this is it."
The Doctor then got ready in case Solaris wished to come on board. Waiting for an answer.
((OOC: Go ahead and look at my approved profile for a picture of the outside and inside of the TARDIS for reference in your post. If you wish to, post your response to entering, examining the TARDIS, the next post I make will tell you where we go.... and... when we go. So, until then just stick to your responses.))

Before he died? Thought Corgan as Solaris spoke up. Corgan found this to be interesting, he knew of the advances in technology, but it seemed that a person's memory and personality was stored in some computer or something, maybe his brain in a jar like those si-fi movies. He honestly doubted the latter possibility. It would be a more simple matter to scan the brain and record the data. The hard part would be getting it to actually be run on a program. You and I are going to have to speak at some point Solaris.. I'm curious as to your nature of being. Thought Corgan. He wasn't sure if Solaris would speak about it, but if he presented it the right way, he doubted the guy would be too upset, he would probably just keep Corgan in the dark.
Corgan's next surprise came at the Doctor's next instructions. All of us, in there. No way. He thought and his opinion changed when he stepped inside the TARDIS. "Whoa, this thing rocks. This TARDIS. Okay Doctor.. I'm all for going along with this, but I want to know something. How the hell does this work out? I mean.. does this lead to some odd dimension or something?" He asked. He was wide-eye with curiosity, but was respectful enough to to touch anything in here. He would be content with learning about it.

Solaris is dead, huh? Guess that's not a shocker since he's all funkified computer stuff.... Does he take showers?
Matrim started wondering that while the Doctor ran out of the classroom. Matrim was too busy thinking up funny things about Solaris and what he does with his free time being 'dead'. He was just about to ask what heaven or hell was like when the Doctor seemed to be inside the class with a huge box around him.... or rather, the Doctor walked out of the blue box.
WHOA did he just say if we all can't fit in that thing we don't have to come to this damn class?
HELL MUTHA *explicit word deleted*'IN YEAH!
Matrim got up and sprinted towards the box, walking inside, no dashing inside at top speed expecting to hit the back of it with such force as to crack open his skull, but instead he found himself in a huge room.
"Holy Sh-" Matrim was distracted from finishing the word when Corgan spoke up.
"Whoa, this thing rocks. This TARDIS. Okay Doctor.. I'm all for going along with this, but I want to know something. How the hell does this work out? I mean.. does this lead to some odd dimension or something?"
"That would explain the whole 'bigger on the inside' thing," Matrim said looking around for buttons to push, tempted to hit the first thing he found that looked even the slightest bit dangerous, "My question is why the hell it's called a tardess...."

Swartz marveled at the box, The TARDIS, as The Doctor walked out of it, and shrugged, walking inside to see how it looked, he walked back outside and around the Box slowly, before turning to The Doctor. "You are compressing a large amount of space in a place it shouldn't beable to hold, does this box connect to a different Reality, Sir?"

His mouth half cocked open for a second, but closed it quick enough so no one would laugh at his sudden surprise. He looked around the school for a minute, wondering how to respond. It was kind of meant as a joke, he didn't NEED to see himself younger, but it might anyway be an interesting adventure to say the least. "Alright, I'll do it." He pulled a holopanel up.
"Lunari, core standby, one minute, no more. If there is a redline, you are to recall me as quick as possible."
Solaris was of course talking about the dangers of seperating his soul from 'Chronos.' Without it, the core degraded rather quickly, and after a variable amount of time, things usually went boom. Solaris shrugged off the thoughts and made his way to the TARDIS, stopping short, and turning into his miniature to conserve power. He then proceded to sit on The Doctor's shoulder.
"Alright then Doc, let's see what this pillbox can do."

"This isn't a seperate dimension, this is what it is, the door goes to the inside of the ship, and the ship is this. There is no tricks here, just technology, no portals no magic, just the simple ability to put something big inside of something small."
The Doctor ushered everyone into the TARDIS, then he went to the control panel, and used his technology to strip Solaris soul just as the TARDIS roared into the past. First stop, was September 11th 1297, the ship was airborne the doors open but with the space shields up so that nobody could walk out and fall.
"Every in front sit down, everyone else stand behind to get a good view. This is the battle of stirling bridge. William Wallace won this battle fighting the english. Watch as the try to make their way across the bridge. Numbers mean nothing in a small enclosed space, soon when most the english are on the bridge the Scotts will attack, and kill english as fast as they can cross."
The battle commenced for a long time, students may have gotten tired, afterall they watched for several hours. Some even complained at this point saying I promised the class would end early. If only they knew.... finally it was time to go to another location, Seattle, to watch the street musicians play. One of them was a brown haired boy with an acoustic guild. He was playing a song by a band called Say Anything. They sat and watched him play for a few more songs, the Doctor spoke up, "If I'm not mistaken, this is your father Matrim. Luke Gallagher, famous musician, son of Liam Gallagher of the band Oasis. Which would normally have made you a very rich kid."
One of the students asked, "Can't they see us?"
"Yes. But in this time, in a city like this, everybody is too busy to care. They won't notice there are a lot of people in a small blue box, they'll see the box and walk on. At least, most of them should."
The Doctor would have stayed longer, but Luke had looked up into the box and the Doctor didn't feel much like sitting around to see Matrim ruin the time line by speaking to his own father before he was born.
"You kids may call me Doc but your name isn't Marty McFly so I'm not letting you talk to your father."
The Ship roared into another place, a school. It was Public High School 253. There was a tree on the school grounds, two young kids a boy and a girl, obviously related, were talking.
"Everyone, this is Solaris Awren. Still alive. Still completely confined inside of one human body," The Doctor gave Solaris a few moments to look back on his past self. He didn't know how he would react. But he definitely would be glad he came on the trip.
(OOC: Just respond your reactions, feel free to talk and ask questions, I'll have the Doctor answer them in my next post. Keep in mind in this whole trip so far 4 hours have passed with us in the TARDIS)

Swartz nodded, and became lost in thought as the ship roared threw time, though the shock and his curiosity made him forget about a book while they were traveling. He was momentarly shocked when he heard the doctor speaking in german, but as the other students spoke in german aswell, he took it as The TARDIS translating the languge for him. He watched Willam Wallace, and noted the strategy used by him. 100 well trained soilders could hold of 10,000,000 in a space like that The time jump made him jerk as he saw the blue-haired person's father. He had no reason to remember that, it was unimportant to him. He listened however, at the Doctor's joke of that Old Movie, he couldn't remember the name though, and saw Solaris, the Computer Mainframe, in a Human body. He turned once more to the Doctor, a question on his mind. "Doctor, so you are saying that this machine does not prevent Paradoxes from occuring? If that is true, isn't it dangerous to Time-Travel at all? Couldn't, even if just some Random person just saw The TARDIS, change the Future, or Our Present, in a terrible way and us be aware of it only because of this? Does The TARDIS even protect us from our memories of the True Present being wiped if a Change in History did occur?, or would we simply adjust into our new lifes without even noticing?" Swartz's Curiosity had been piked, and he wanted to, and could, question The Doctor for hours on end without running out of questions to ask.
OOC: Asking alot of questions

Solaris clinched his teeth as The Doctor stripped his soul from Chronos. The feeling was much like velcro, being ripped apart from his very home. Lets just say it wasn't too pleasant. After the ordeal, he was breathing rather heavily, sitting on the shoulder of The Doctor, he'd never been cut from the power of Chronos, but just as quickly, he'd been rebound to the TARDIS' computer. The power was absolutely astonishing, it was as if he'd been overclocked three times over and then some. Unfortunately, the TARDIS' power supply wasn't yet compatible with Solaris' programming, restricting him from any sort of Qi powers. Oh well, he would only be in here temporarily, it wouldn't matter.
"There is no tricks here, just technology, no portals no magic, just the simple ability to put something big inside of something small."
Oh yes...Solaris smiled a little. "Incredible, so it is possible..." Scientists had been looking for this knowledge for sometime, but had failed up to this point to find anything. "...A tesseract. Simply put, you can put something big into a small space. Another name for the TARDIS is a hypercube, a euclidian four-diminisional box of sorts. Honestly, the space in this...time machine if you will could be infinite, or it may not. Not to detract Doc." He stated, not knowing if that last part was completely true, since normal mathmatics and physics didn't apply here.
At about this time, Solaris smiled as he formed to full height, and walked next to the students to watch the battle unfold below. It was an incredible sight...but then it dawned on Solaris...it's been more than one minute, and he hadn't recalled. That was not a good thing...if time were still advancing in his time...the school...Japan would be gone from the face of the Earth. He trusted the Doctor's word...so he shoved the thought of quantum degeneration into the back of his mind. It wouldn't do much good to check now.
The students were starting to look awfully bored with the battle that had now been going on for hours. "If I'm not mistaken, this is your father Matrim. Luke Gallagher, famous musician, son of Liam Gallagher of the band Oasis. Which would normally have made you a very rich kid." Solaris looked again and grinned. That was in fact Samara's boyfriend alright, the same guitarist he'd met later in the year when he found out he was to die.
"Everyone, this is Solaris Awren. Still alive. Still completely confined inside of one human body," The TARDIS felt as though it had never moved, and here he was watching himself speaking to his younger sister Lunari...she had been lucky to be spared from his disease. A quick movement and Solaris noticed his younger self move his arm some grabbing for some sushi. He had the cybernetic left arm, meaning this was after the nasty bus crash.
Smiling for a few moments, he was able to reminice on days since past...The Solaris' in the same time period had heavily differing looks...but it made no diffference, this was him with his sister...the greatest reminder of his life since his last day alive in his junior year. "Thank you Doc..." he mentioned, looking down at the floor.

The war was exceptionally awesome. You couldn't see the blood and death very good, but you saw the tactics used by the scotts in that battle. Their battle strategy made the english's numbers nothing more then a bigger body count.
Not to self, remember that strategy in case I'm attacked anywhere near a narrow hallway....
"Dad....." Then he listened to his dad play a song he had heard him annoy Matrim with whenever he got him up early in the morning. Matrim was a tough guy, but he cried. He quickly wiped his tears to hide it, but he was sad, he began to step forward when the doctor interupted him.
"You kids may call me Doc but your name isn't Marty McFly so I'm not letting you talk to your father."
Luke Gallagher looked into the blue box, and Matrim worded I Miss You with his lips.
Then they saw Solaris at the very school his dad went to.
"Thank you Doc..."
Even the AI was touched by the doctor's trip. This was getting pretty intense.
"I'm with that kid on this one doc, how the hell do I know I won't have been born when we get back?"

The orange haired one asked him plenty of questions. "This machine is not capable of preventing paradox's, no. And you would be surprised. In fact, the truth is, you'd have to be outside punching the right person to change anything. Millions of people live out their lives without every doing so much as causing a ripple in time. Besides, I've been doing this a long time, you can trust me. Nobody notices a blue box that is here one second and gone the next. Not with special effects and magicians going on. Not to mention how far away we were from that battle."
Then the Doctor remembered his last question, "Humans will remember everything they used to know. If their timeline was changed while they were out of it, they would have a collision of both memories. Of course, that is my job. I go back in time and correct that. When I said I know history, I mean I know history. Past, present, and future. So trust me."
The Doctor turned to Matrim, "Again, Marty McFly would have disapeared unless they fixed the timeline. It made minor changes, things in your life might have changed but your memories would have two sets. Your originals feeling much more real."
"And yes Swartz," The Doctor said, "I realize that I'm supposed to prevent that, but I have one shot at preventing it, and if it's not a paradox, or time line altering in major ways, I don't stress it."
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, this was something most Time Lords lived by. Which is why they saught after the Genocide of the Daleks.
"Now then..."
"Thank you Doc..."
"You're Welcome."
The Doctor shut the doors, and took everyone home, only 12 seconds had passed in the timeline from when they left, 4 hours had passed in the TARDIS. The Doctor quickly reattached Solaris' soul to the Core. Doing so with extreme caution.
"Sorry if that tickles a bit, you may feel a little depressed from going to a lesser power source, but you haven't been in the TARDIS long enough to go through withdrawls." The Doctor had a theory that if Solaris was used to such power and went to a lesser it would be the equivelant of a body running on less endorphins and withdrawing from whatever gave them that high.
"Everyone, class is over. Please gather your things, for homework I want you to think of what I asked this class, if you could go anywhere in history, and think hard. Because next time, I'm going to let you out of the TARDIS, of course.... you will still have some limitations of which I'll explain later. For now, class is dismissed."
(OOC: Go ahead and post your reactions once again. Talk amongst the other students if you want for awhile, but post your leaving the class within the next 24 hours or so and I'll make a new thread for the second session.)

Swatrz nodded slowly as the Doctor explained, and as he left The TARDIS looked at the clock to check the time.
This thing must be busted he thought, the time had only changed by twelve seconds. So, it slips into a spot of the timeline without disrupting it, then slips back out, but it can't go back to the exact time that it leaves, and its not protected from paradoxes, other then being able to feel something had changed when you get back, but to even cause a paradox, you would have to do something drastic.
Swartz's head was spinning with questions and thoughts, and he thought about places he would like to travel back in time to. He walked out of the classroom in a blur, thinking about the many things that he had learned in, techniquelly, just twelve seconds.
