(If necessary, Lunari will be Orange, Solaris, Red. Lunari is currently dressed as her SECOND picture in her bio.)
Whenever you started a class in a prison school, you started off with something fun and with a bang. Supposedly it kept students coming, and what better way to start Astrophysics with a trip to the AI Core? Here, Solaris could actually change the room to a planetarium quickly and efficently. He owed her for the maintenence at the very least. "Solly? Can you sit me on the dome?" Solaris turned toward the little girl and with a nanite cushion, lifted her the one story to the top of the dome inside the chamber. It was 20 feet in height from the floating floor. Otherwise, below, there was another hundred or more feet of empty space where other parts were channeled, and another hundred above. "There you go."
The AIC3 as it was called by math teachers was the largest, most advanced, and heavily guarded building in the entire school, making it an ideal place for a planetarium display. Nanites and holograms could display various places in space in extremely high resolutions, as well as being able to create other effects, realistic wind, sounds, among others. The entire program was nearly ready, and so were the two teachers.
Atop the dome she waited, watching the blast door for the first sign of students. There were no chairs, no books, nothing of a normal classroom. Writing was silly was Lunari's thought...like many students. No, this would be a visual only lecture, the students would be moving freely as she talked. Hopefully the awe factor would be enough to keep them quiet during the whole ordeal.
"Alright...open the doors."

Matrim watched as the doors were opened, wearing his button up short sleeve white shirt, jeans, and a pair of vans. The short was unbuttoned four buttons so that you could see the black venetian glass ring hanging from his necklace. He entered the room looking around. A lot of technology and a lot of cool stuff. No wonder they weren't allowed back here. Matrim wasn't crazy about the class though.
Astrophysics huh.... well if you break down the words its physics which is obvious and Astro which was George Jetson's dog on The Jetson's.... so... it's a class about the physics of a cartoon dog? Will Scooby Doo-ology be a course too?
He walked in looking around and didn't see a place to sit. "Uhm, Hi? Is this where I am supposed to be? Or am I about to be shot at by several different people?"
He looked around further, and sat down on the floor. Looking around he decided he'd wait for a response to figure out what he should do.

Lunari was nearly asleep on the top of the AI core dome as a boy came waltzing through the inner blast door. Hopefully, the first of several...preferably more, as Lunari rarely got access for students to come here on Solaris' time. The entire program was ready, but she wasn't about to give her lecture to just a single student and her genius brother. What was the point in wasting all the power for that? That's right, none.
She flipped onto her front, and crawled a little to the edge of the top of the dome, looking over and down, seeing the boy. "Hm? Hello there. Yes, you're in the right place, and if you got this far without getting shot...I'm sure you'll be fine." Smiling, she continued on. "We have something special today for you guys in here, and you won't really be needing chairs. So, you can walk around and have a look, or you can stay there if you wish."
It would have really helped to have more students at this point, but hell, she knew...teachers had a rough time getting to the core intact, much less students...yikes. "Oh, I'm Lunari Awren by the way, Solaris is off somewhere doing a few minor tweaks before class starts."

Dariens foot crossed the threshold to the Core of the schools power. It was quite the interesting place, one he had grown to like. There was a woman there, maybe a few years older than him, and Matt, the guy he had met earlier. After he stepped inside, his gaze wandered around the large domed area, then went back to the two people who were standing in front of him.
"um...my MAC says this is where astrophysics is...Im not, like, gonna get in trouble for coming here, am i? I was only following my MACs instructions..." He hadn't yet realized this was the classroom, he just assumed there was something wrong with his MAC, and that these two were allowed or supposed to be here. He reached into his pocket, looked back down at the MAC, then frowned. It still said this was where he was supposed to be...maybe someone would show up and take him out of the core, where he obviously wasn't allowed to be.

"This is the right place alright," Matrim said walking closer to where Lunari was, obviously unable to go to where she was completely, "I'm Matrim Gallagher, Matt for short. I'm sure you know most of the student's names though seeing as your related to Solaris, or at least... as related as a human can be to a computer."
Matrim looked around and finally decided to let his eyes gaze at the core, "If we don't sit down, we don't write stuff down I assume. Ummm, so whats planned for today? A demonstration maybe?"
Afterall, I'd hate to get board in a class called Astrophysics. Because of all the hype the name gives it. Yup, nothing more exciting and non-boring as Astrophysics. Fun old Astrophysics.....

She finally rolled over and sat up, addressing the two boys down below on the catwalk. She'd seen the one before, Matrim, in the gym fighting some other boy, and the other one war still unknown to her. No matter, she'd get to know them during the class. "You're in the right place, don't worry for once." She mentioned, knowing full well at any other time, the two would have been killed on the spot.
"As for your question Matrim, your correct, todays lesson is but a lecture and a demonstration. I can't write for more than 20 minutes at a time, so why should you guys have to? I'm one of those people that like to look at pretty pictures." Lunari jumped the full length down the dome, using a touch of Qi moonlight to cushion the landing, impacting with a slight burst of violet energy from her shoes.
"We're almost ready, but it would be such a waste to start now without at least a COUPLE more students here..." True that, running programs directly into the core, physically changing the room? All of these were major power hogs to say the slightest.

The boy looked around, his long black hair swayed with the movements of his body. He had just been sent to the school a day or so before. He didn't like it but it was definitely better then the alternative for his crime. He gave a sigh and looked at his schedule. "Astrophysics...well its got astro in it so that has to do something with outer space." he said in a murmur to himself.
He personally loved astronomy and anything to do with outer space. However, he didn't know what to expect. He had heard the AI Core was not a very nice place to be and the fact that they were going there for class. What was he to expect?
He pulled out the MAC device he had gotten for coming to this school and took a breath as he used it to open the first door to the AI Core. He expected to see maximum security weaponry but only saw bare metal walls. The rest of the doors were open so he kept walking.
When he reached the end he saw a few other boys and a girl that was even shorter then him. On closer inspection he noticed the girl wasn't just a girl. It was a woman, someone definitely older then him, its just with her height it makes her seem extremely young. "This is Astrophysics right?" he asked as he looked around. The enclosure was gigantic, and it seemed they were putting up hologram-like things for space. He wondered what was in store for them now.

Lunari stuffed her hands in her pockets and smiled as another student came through the massive blast doors. Finally another student...she really only needed these three to start, and unlike other classes, others could come in late to this particular one, since it was only a demonstration, a ploy to get them to attend her normal classes. They would do these kinds of things later, but a good start was what she needed.
"This is Astrophysics right?"
"Yes, that's correct, you're in the right spot, don't worry. Anyway, let's get this presentation in gear." Lunari started to walk around the AI core, and with a nod to Solaris, who's miniature avatar was on her shoulder now, the lights dimmed somewhat.
She came back to the students and smiled warmly, there would be no violence, nothing to worry them, just a harmless presentation. "Alright. I just have a few rules for this presentation. Please keep your voices down, and don't touch anything you shouldn't. My brother is extremely defensive of his technology, and I doubt you want to mess with him, or the autoturrets. Other than that, the blast doors are going to close, if you need to go to the bathroom, they are up the service elevator on the third floor of the containment room. Other than that, I'm sure you guys are smart enough to stay out of trouble. Hopefully we'll get a few more students in a bit."
The small mini-core implanted into the back of her neck activated, and she used the nanites that came out to lift herself back onto the dome. By the chip, her voice would be amplifed to the room.
She gave one last smile, and the room was plunged into pitch black. "We're going to start out at the supposed beginning of the universe, approximately 15 billion years ago. The big bang." With it, the center of the room exploded with light, showing a massive burst of white energy, but no noise...as nothing was in existance until this point. "Now, nobody knows how the bang actually happened, but it can be assumed that at the point of singularity, or the exact moment the bang happened, there was an infinite density factor, combined with infinate tempurature, which would soon start to exponentially cool and expand, setting the ground work for all of existance. Please ask questions when you wish."

The boy stepped closer as the teacher he assumed told them not to touch anything and that the bathroom was in the 3rd floor containment area. Like he knew where that was. Oh well, he wouldn't even need to think about going until after school was out...or at lunch.
Then the blast doors shut and the room went black. The teacher then told them they were gonna start from the beginning with the big bang. The room was washed with a brilliant white light. He winced at the sudden brightness and darkness in what felt like half a second. "Oww..." he muttered beneath his breath.
His pupils dialated like a junkie on crack. God dammit...I'm trippin' balls.. He thought in his head as he blinked trying to get his eyes to regulate the light again. She said they could ask questions at any time so he decided to ask it now. "Umm, yeah I got a question.... Next time can I get some sunglasses the next time you do something THAT bright again? Cause I swear to God my eyes are trippin' balls." he said with half a laugh at himself.

Darien looked at the people who were here. Matt, the boy who he had met and fought at the gate, and another newcomer, along with the teacher (who didn't look much older than himself.) He leaned against the wall, opting for a rather silent Darien. He couldn't keep up that composure, though, when the room was suddenly plunged into darkness and reawakened in brilliant light. He covered his eyes as it happened, and then, lowering his arm, gazed up at the stars, his mouth hanging open just a bit.
"Holy shit..." he said softly, not really thinking about it. He wasn't one to use curse words, but he was truly awed. He had no idea this place had so much power. He couldn't even imagine how much energy it took to run this place. His gaze wandered from planet to plant, then, as lunari offered to answer any Questions, he turned to her.
"Yeah, i have a question...where were we? or rather, were we there when the bang happened?"
He couldn't hide the awe or the wonder, so he didn't try. He looked back up, gazing around, waiting for Lunari's answer.

"Umm, yeah I got a question.... Next time can I get some sunglasses the next time you do something THAT bright again? Cause I swear to God my eyes are trippin' balls." Lunari couldn't help but stifle a small laugh...her students had a right to be a little disoriented...it WAS pretty bright. "Now what would be the fun in lessening the effect Mr. Farshaw?" She waited, but being rhetorical, kept right on talking before he could give an answer, stepping around and looking up at the universe above her.
About now, space swallowed all of the room, excepting the explosion, and the expansion of stars and galaxies below and above them, there was nothing but black and a low rumble. "Now then," she muttered, adjusting her glasses. In response to your questions Mr. Aanul...if we scale this back a little bit..." The hologram condensed some, showing more stars and empty space twinkling. "Redshift calulations indicate that at this time period, proportional to today...we would be right here." A red cube blinked and flashed, showing the words 'Sol System' beside it. "That's our general location, and as for human's on Earth, we would not come for billions of years later. Mind you, the Earth has existed for about...oh, 30% of the Universe's timespan. Humans...less that one thousandth of a percentile."

Matrim watched and realized that it might be complete and utter bullshit. Not the big bang theory, in fact if that were truth he would feel like God had made the big bang happen. The Big Bang being god himself.
The light didn't hurt his eyes, not that bad. While it was bright, he pretty much just covered his eyes and got over it.
He wondered if the Doctor knew more about all of this stuff she was teaching. He just took it in as some Sci Fi explanation of everything. Since he didn't have to write it, he just pretended it was a movie, which actually ended up helping him remember it all. He just wondered when the alien's would begin attacking. Of course, according to the Doctor, that was plausible too.
We never did ask him about aliens..... he mentioned an alien species....
