Reira watched the hands of the classroom clock roll by at an incredibly sloooow pace. Why was it when you are excited or anxious for something, time always seems slow to pass while your waiting for it? Reira sat tapping her finger impatiently on her desk, totally ignoring the teachers lecture. Only a few more seconds and...
Briiinnnggg
School was out for the day. Reira shot up out of her steat and barrelled her way to her dorm. She caused a lot of people to grunt in annoyance, but hey, she was in a hurry, so that made it okay.
Once in her dorm she quickly stripped out of her school clothes, and into a workout outfit she laid out the night before. It was simple. Black short shorts, proper shoes, and a black underarmour shirt. Putting her hair up in a ponytail, she jotted her way to the Hikari building.
She had sent Alex a message, telling him she wanted to train today, so he knew she was coming, but she wondered if he was going to meet her at the front gate or something. The last time she was here, his eye scan opened it. When she got there she was surprised, that they ushered her in. Guess Alex had announced her arrival.
From then on, a guard had escourted her through the rest of the building. Thank god for that! Reira would have lost her way if she didn't have a guide. Losing track of the way they had come, the guard finally stopped and led her into a very big room.
The best way to explain it..well it reminded her of a gym, naturally. Except this gym was so much better then the one in the school. It had twice as much equipment, in better condition to, and was twice as big. Plenty of room to horseplay in.
The guard, nodded his head and took his leaving, shutting the door behind him. Setting her bottle of water at her feet, Reira sat on a nearby bench, wating for Alex to show up.
Her mind drifted to what Alex was going to teach her, and how exactly, she would step up to meet his standards. If she could that it. Reira wasn't some push over, she was very hard set. Once she set her mind to something, she'd make sure to carry it out, until it was finished to her likeing.
(ooc: I hope it was okay for me to just make her walk in like that haha..don't really know anything about Kane's floor lol)

Alex sat in class, his foot tapping on the ground, as he stared out the window. It was only a few minutes before class would finish for the day, but to him, it felt like hours. He occasionally jotted down a note or two, and then contined staring out the window. He had received a message from Reira telling him she wanted to train today. He quickly replied that he'd see her at Kane's Floor before class had started. It was now near the end of class. He glanced at the clock, a few more seconds and...
Briiinnnggg
Class was over and done with, finally. Alex got out of his seat, placed his notebook in his bag, and headed out of the classroom, back to his room in Kane's Floor. Walking through the school grounds, passing people, Alex reached Kane's Floor, and not surprisingly, nobody hung around near it, nobody wanted to, because they had no reason to, not unless they wanted to be shot.
Standing in front of the eye scanner, he got his eye scanned, the door opened, and Alex went in. He stopped at the main desk opposite from the entrance, and spoke to the receptionist. " I'll be having a guest coming, it'll be a girl with pink hair, let her in immediately, understood?" " Yes Master Hikari." " Thank you." " My pleasure."
Alex proceeded to the elevator, and the door opened, taking him to his room. As he stood in the elevator, he sent a message to one of his guards, telling him to go to the entrance immediately and escort Reira to the training room when she arrived. Alex stowed his MAC back in his pocket, and exited out of the elevator.
Going to his room, he tossed his bag on his bed and changed out of his school clothes into his training clothes, loose black long shorts, a white tank top, and his good old worn down runners. He felt a rumble from his pocket, and pulled out his MAC, and saw he had received a message from the guard. The message said,
She's here.
" Good, time to go." Alex thought, as he picked up his water bottle and headed out of his room, and into the elevator, which took him to the the training room. He stepped into the room, and saw Reira sitting on a bench, waiting for him. " Hey." he said, walking over to her. " I see you made it here without getting lost." he grinned, setting his water bottle down on the ground beside hers. " Alright then, first, I'll explain to you what it is I'm going to teach you."
Alex then moved to stand in front of her, and began. " I'll be teaching you some basic Taekwondo techniques, which is what I learned. I'll be teaching you some basic kicks and punches, though it'll mainly be kicks. I won't bore you to death with the history of Taekwondo, since frankly, I had to learn it, and let me tell you, it was not short. Let's begin." Alex said, moving to the center of the room.
" Now, an important part of Taekwondo is stretching. Stretching will help loosen your muscles, and you won't be so sore afterwards. Just follow what I do, and then I'll begin teaching you the techiques. We'll start slow, I'll teach you some basic kicks and blocking techniques, I don't want to overwelm you on the first lesson, that sound good?" Alex asked, as he began to stretch. Class was in session.
(OOC: No worries, I wrote in my post how she was able to walk in like she was a Hikari lol.)

The silence of the training area was broken with the click of the door. Standing up, she found herself waving and smiling at the familiar face. "Hey," he said walking over to her. " I see you made it here without getting lost." She grinned. "Hello, my teacher. Yeah..about not getting lost..I had some help! But you probably already knew that," she said with a laugh. She felt totally energetic right now, like she was anxious to get started.
"Alright then, first, I'll explain to you what it is I'm going to teach you. I'll be teaching you some basic Taekwondo techniques, which is what I learned. I'll be teaching you some basic kicks and punches, though it'll mainly be kicks. I won't bore you to death with the history of Taekwondo, since frankly, I had to learn it, and let me tell you, it was not short. Let's begin."
Reira nodded and stood beside him, awaiting for him to explain things. She was happy to note that she would be learning mainly kicks. Since she played a lot of soccer, her legs were definately a stronger point then her arms. Also, she was even more enthusiastic to hear that she didn't have to learn the long history of Taekwondo. That was the best part! Reira was a hands on learner, not really one for paper and pencil.
"Now, an important part of Taekwondo is stretching. Stretching will help loosen your muscles, and you won't be so sour afterwards. Just follow what I do, and then I'll begin teaching you the techiques. We'll start slow, I'll teach you some basic kicks and blocking techniques, I don't want to overwelm you on the first lesson, that sound good?" Reira began mimicing some of the stretches he had started. "Sounds fine with me," she said, copying him.
Couldn't be that hard, she hoped. Besides, he had said he wouldn't overwhelm her on her first lesson. On her first lesson..didn't say anything about the second and third, but she tried not to think about that now. She was determined to get this all.
"Let's get it on."

"Hello, my teacher. Yeah..about not getting lost..I had some help! But you probably already knew that." Indeed he did, considering it was he who told the guard to escort her here. " Yeah, I did, let's start alright?" He could tell she was anxious and excited to start, but stretching always comes first, that way, injuries wouldn't hurt as much as they would if they didn't stretch.
He began with stretching out his legs, the legs were the main part of the body that those who practice Taekwondo use. Alex's legs were very lean, but very muscular. "Sounds fine with me," he heard her say, as he saw her mimic him. He then stretched out his arms, then his body, and finally, his shoulder and neck.
After a few minutes, he finished stretching, and moved over to the training dummy he had set up in the center beforehand. He faced Reira and stood a bit away from the dummy, at the side. " Alright Reira, come over here, and stand where I am right now. I'll show you the moves first, and then you'll mimic what I do alright?" he asked, as he moved to face the dummy. He got into the basic stance, his feet almost shoulder-width apart, his left hand in front of him, his right hand near his chest.
He concentrated on the dummy, and launched a basic kick, raising his right knee to his waist and quickly extended his foot at the dummy, the blow landing on the chest area. He then moved from side to side, bouncing on his heels, and then whipped his body around, his right side now facing the dummy and proceeded into a roundhouse kick with his right leg, landing the blow right at the dummy's neck. He weaved from side to side and then launched a side kick, raising his knee and rotated 90 degrees, and then quickly extended his leg, striking the dummy in the side with his heel.
He then brought his leg down, and turned to Reira, sweating slightly. " Okay, it's your turn. We'll first start with the front kick, which was the first kick I did. Stand where I was, and go into the stance I did. If you do something wrong, or you can't quite get the hang of it, I'll help you out." Alex then moved to the side of the dummy, standing far enough so Reira wouldn't hit him with the side kick. " Ready? You may begin student."

Reira didn't mind stretching at all. She didn't want to be sore in the morning, and it felt good to stretch her muscles. It certainly had been a while since she had worked out like this. Other then soccer and running she hadn't really done anything else. She had a high enough metabolism for that...and she didn't eat very much to begin with.
She copied Alex's lead. First she stretched her legs, making sure to stretch her quadriceps and calfs well. She also rotated her ankles, to encourage maximum efficiency. Then, like Alex, she went on to stretch her arms, then body, then shoulders and neck. Each stretch she held out for approximately thirty seconds each.
After the stretching session, she followed Alex to a training dummy. She had been eyeing this little contraption ever since she entered this room, knowing full well that this would be her opponent. "Alright Reira, come over here, and stand where I am right now. I'll show you the moves first, and then you'll mimic what I do alright?" She stood aside, leaving him room. "Okay," Reira said, taking mental notes, observing Alex make the kick.
First, situate yourself into a basic stance. Feet shoulder-width apart, left hand held infront slighly, right hand closer to the chest. Then, you raise your right knee to waist height, and quickly extend your foot to hit the target...boucce from side to side...and wha..I'm lost..
Alex was a pro. He would have to perform the moves more then once for her to get the hang of it. That's where the word practice comes in. Reira was going to need a lot of that. His first kick hit the dummy in the chest, then he moved so fast, that she only caught the second kick seconds before it hit the dummy in the neck. Wicked. Just performing those moves, had Alex in a sweat. "Okay, it's your turn. We'll first start with the front kick, which was the first kick I did. Stand where I was, and go into the stance I did. If you do something wrong, or you can't quite get the hang of it, I'll help you out."
"That was pretty sweet, what you did there! Kay, I'll give it a try now," she said watching Alex back away from her. It was a good thing, who knew how unstable her kick could be. She was used to taking corner kicks in soccer, but this was a whole different story.
"Ready? You may begin student." Nodding she began. Reira got into the basic stance she had watched Alex get into. Feet apart, one arm closer to the body then the other. Now came the quick part. Raising her knee, she swiftly, extended the rest of her leg to hit the dummy, only it didn't work out quite as planned. Her other foot rotated, causing her kick to be off. Before Alex could help her, she caught herself from falling and said. "Wait, let me try that again, I think I got this."
It was no different really then trying to kick an incoming soccer ball that was in the air. Well it was..but the basic body form wasn't. Pretending that she was on the soccer field, she kicked again, hitting the dummy squar in the chest.
"Hmm..how was that," she asked curiously?

"Alright Reira, come over here, and stand where I am right now. I'll show you the moves first, and then you'll mimic what I do alright?" "Okay." Alex then began to perform the kicks, all the kicks he demonstrated were basic ones, nothing fancy or hard.
He wanted to start slow, so she could correctly mimic what he was doing. After he had finished demonstrating, he told her that they'll start with the front kick. He then moved to the side and a bit away, to give her some room to kick, and so he wouldn't get hit in the face too.
"That was pretty sweet, what you did there! Kay, I'll give it a try now." Was it that impressive? Well okay then. He then told her to begin, which she did, errr, sort of. He saw her go into the stance, and then bring her knee up, quickly extending her foot, but her other foot rotated, which sent her kick off by a little bit. Before he could catch her from falling, she caught herself, and started again.
"Wait, let me try that again, I think I got this." " Sure, take as many tries as you need." he replied, watching her carefully, the last thing he wanted was for her to execute the technique, only to hurt herself. Matrim would kill him if he let that happen.
She then tried again, and this time, she executed it quite well, hitting the dummy in the chest. "Hmm..how was that?" " Good, that was good, not bad at all. Try a few more times and we'll move on." he replied, as he watched her execute the move again. After a few more times, she managed to execute it perfectly.
"Excellent! That was very good. Next, we'll move on to the roundhouse kick. It's a little bit more tricky to execute, so I'll demonstrate it again for you, alright?" he said, as he once again stood in front of the dummy. He got into the stance, and then brought his knee up and swung it it around in a semi-circular motion, and struck the dummy on the side of its neck with the front of his foot. He then brought his leg down, and turned to Reira. " Okay, now you try. Get your balance first, and then try to execute it okay?" He then moved to the side again, and waited for her to begin.

"Good, that was good, not bad at all. Try a few more times and we'll move on." Reira nodded. She found she was doing that a lot lately, but if she talked too much it would break her concentration and that was something she did not want. This was serious to her. After a few more kicks, she found that the whole sequence came to her more easily. By the last few kicks, she thought she was doing it pretty good.
"Excellent! That was very good. Next, we'll move on to the roundhouse kick. It's a little bit more tricky to execute, so I'll demonstrate it again for you, alright?" Reira tried to answer him with a 'okay' or 'go for it' but once again she settled with a nod, as she rested her hands on her knees and caught her breath. Alex began to move. She watched intently as he once again got into stance, and brought his knee up. But this time, instead of kicking the dummy straight on, he swung his leg in a semi-circular motion, hitting the thing on the side of its neck with the front of his foot. "Okay, now you try. Get your balance first, and then try to execute it okay?"
"Right..balance," she said more to herself then to him. Reira got into the stance and went for it. She kicked once, twice, three times, four times, and on and on. It wasn't perfect, she knew it. In her many attempts she had fell a couple of times, cringing at some moments, but she wouldn't let Alex help her. Was she beating herself up slightly? Yes. Did she care particularly? No, not really, a few bruises here and there wouldn't hurt her. She was over thinking this, it wasn't about thinking how to do it, it was about feeling it.
With a hard look on her face, she pictured the dummies head to be Rias'. Grinning slightly at her imaginary image, she kicked. This time not thinking about it, just feeling the need to hit him...er..it. To her relief she did the kick perfect this time! Not that all her other attempts were utter failures, they just didn't suit her liking. Smiling slightly, she stopped, and smiled.
"What's next?"

"Excellent! That was very good. Next, we'll move on to the roundhouse kick. It's a little bit more tricky to execute, so I'll demonstrate it again for you, alright?" Alex saw her try to speak, but she ended up just nodding, signifying to him to go ahead.
He saw her rest her hands on her knees and catch her breath, but she was still watching him as he executed the move flawlessly. "Okay, now you try. Get your balance first, and then try to execute it okay?" "Right..balance," he heard her say, more to herself than to him, as he watched her execute the roundhouse kick.
She tried it once, twice, three times, four times! Some of the times she had fallen down, cringing at times, but before Alex could help her, she had gotten up, determined to not let him help her. Well, as long as she didn't injure herself badly, he would let her be, but if she tried to execute a move and almost injure herself badly, he would step in to stop her.
He saw she had a hard look on her face, maybe she was invisioning someone's face on the dummy? Apparently yes, because this time, she executed the move perfectly! Smiling slightly, she turned to him and asked, "What's next?" " Well done. Next is the side kick. Once again it's a bit tricky so I'll demonstrate it, so you can see how to do it."
Again, he stepped in front of the dummy, making sure Reira was a good space away. He took his stance, and raised his knee and at the same time rotated 90 degrees, and then quickly extended his leg, striking the dummy in the side with his heel again. " You that? Now you try. Again, get your balance first, before trying it." he said, as he moved off to the side again, " You may start."

And so the process continues. Reira watched, once again, as Alex demonstrated the side kick. She'd probably never remember the names of these kicks, just remember how to do them. " You got that? Now you try. Again, get your balance first, before trying it. You may start." "Yes oh Mightiful Master!," she said with a grin.
Stance check. Balance..hmm..check. Once she was ready she performed the kick a couple of times, by copying Alex. She rotated 90 degrees and then extended her foot, coming in contact with the dummy. Poor dummy.
This kick, was easier for her for some reason. Maybe it was because she repeated the last couple of kicks over and over again that her body finally got used to the idea of kicking things. It only took her a couple to tries to complete this kick at a satisfactory level. With plently of practice, it would improve, but you can't expect her to be perfert on her first day of training.
She stopped then, pleased with the way things were going. Searching for her water bottle, she took a long sip, refastened the lid and chucked it away to a corner. "You probably have better things to do then teach me this, sorry, but I appreciate it, really I do," she said with a small smile. She wondered if he had more instore for her, she hoped he did.

"You got that? Now you try. Again, get your balance first, before trying it. You may start." "Yes oh Mighty Master!" Alex grinned at this, he, a Master? And mighty at that? He couldn't help but grin, he was no way near a Master, he was still a student, he just knew enough to teach Reira some kicks to protect herself. He saw her get into stance, balance herself, and then execute the kick, striking the dummy.
She then stopped after getting it down, and took a long drink from her water bottle. She then chucked it into a corner, and turned to him. "You probably have better things to do then teach me this, sorry, but I appreciate it, really I do." " Don't worry about it, I don't mind teaching you, I got you in the situation by asking you to become part of our gang, the least I could do is teach you to defend yourself, or Matrim would be on my ass every single day!" he replied with a laugh.
" Alright then, I think this enough for today. Now, the lessons will probably be spaced apart three to four days, just to give you time to practice. If you want to practice anytime, just tell me, and I'll supervise while you practice, either here, or at the school gym, either one is fine with me, alright?" Alex said, as he took a drink from his water bottle. " You can stay to practice, or you can leave if you like." And with that, the first lesson was over.
- 3 days later -
Alex sat on the bench in the training room, his water bottle by his feet. He was waiting for Reira to arrive, to begin their second lesson. This time, he had a bit more advanced kicking techniques to teach her, so this lesson would only focus one two techniques, because the two were somewhat difficult to execute. He wore a light blue tank top, and white long shorts today. He felt a rumble in his pocket, and pulled out his MAC, he had received a message. The message said,
She's here.
Alex responded, telling the guard to let her in and escort her to the training room again. He placed his MAC on the bench and stood up, stretching as he waited. It didn't take long, he heard a knock on the door, and it opened, the guard poking his head in. Alex nodded to him, and the guard stepped aside, letting Reira in. " Welcome back student, are you ready?" he asked, grinning, his arms folded across his chest. Time to start.
OOC: Yes, time skip. 3 days, give or take, for each lesson. Don't want to drag this on for too long.

Reira laughed with him after his comment about Matrim. Her dear Matrim, would definately get horribly mad at him if he didn't teach her how to defend herself. Sighing, she stretched out her arms, thinking he was going to teach her some more, but her to dismay, he said that the lesson was done for the day.
"Aww, alright. I guess I shouldn't push myself too much," she said searching for her water bottle. When she found it, she drank the rest of it. "I think the practicing idea is great, I'll send you text. I'll see you later then, thanks again!" Waving, she left Alex alone in the training room.
-3 Days Later-
Reira walked the halls of the Hikari building, once again escourted by the same guard that escourted her on her last visit. This time, she was wearing a navy blue boy beater and short black nike shorts, with white stripes on the sides. The way to the training room was becoming familiar to her, slowly, soon she wouldn't need an escourt.
The gaurd knocked on the training room door, waited for a moment, then moved out of the way, for Reira to enter. She was feeling energetic as usual. Perhaps she always got this way when she knew she would be training.
"Welcome back student, are you ready?" Alex said, with his arms folded across his chest. She grinned back, eager to begin another good day of training, she was learning a lot, and it surprised her that it actually stuck with her. "Sure am Sensei, what do you have instore for me today?," she asked, coming to stand beside him.

At his comment about Matrim being on his ass everyday if he didn't teach her to defend herself, she laughed, partly because it was true. He then told her the lesson was over, she responded, sounding disappointed, "Aww, alright. I guess I shouldn't push myself too much." " Yes, because if you wake up the next day sore, it won't be nice!" he replied, as he saw her look for her water bottle. As soon as she found it, she waved at him, "I think the practicing idea is great, I'll send you text. I'll see you later then, thanks again!" He waved back at her, and exited out of the training room after her.
- 3 days later - Alex looked up, and saw Reira come in. When he asked her if she was ready, she replied, "Sure am Sensei, what do you have in store for me today?" " You'll see." he replied, as he started stretching, no matter what, stretching came first. After he had finished stretching, Alex moved to the dummy that was in the center of the room again, and turned to face Reira. " Today, you'll be learning the Hook Kick and the Axe Kick. First up, the Hook Kick."
Alex turned to the dummy, and got into his stance as always. Making sure Reira was a good distance away, he concentrated, then he raised his knee up, similar to the roundhouse kick, then extended his foot outward then snapped it around in a dorsal arc, with the heel hitting the dummy on the side of its head.
He brought his leg down and turned to Reira. " Alright, now it's your turn. You know the drill, just don't fall on your ass okay?" he teased, as he moved away to stand on the side, waiting for Reira to begin. " Ready? You may start."

She would see indeed. As usual, stretching came first. It came naturally to her now, she had been practicing almost everyday, she was really into this. All her practicing even interfered with her some of her schoolwork. Not that it bothered her much, it was only some assignment the Doc had gave her, he'd get over it...hopefully.
After the stretching session, Alex turned to her and began telling her about what she would be doing today. She'd be performing the Hook Kick and the Axe Kick. She liked the sound of these kicks. So much more interesting then the other. "Ooh, can't wait!"
Alex, as routine, performed the Hook kick. She studied his movements and then it was her turn to try. "Alright, now it's your turn. You know the drill, just don't fall on your ass okay?" She grinned. "I'll try not to. But I can't promise you anything, although I think I need to start falling on my other ass cheek, the left one is bruised," she said with a laugh. It was a joke.
Getting in stance, she performed it as best as she could. She raised her knee up, extended her foot outward then snapped it around in a dorsal arc, with the heel hitting the dummy on the side of its head. Just as Alex showed her.
This kick was much tougher then the other kicks, but it was similar to the roundhouse kick, so it wasn't foreign material. It took her quite a few tries to get it to her liking but she managed. She'd have to, she wouldn't let herself fail.
"I liked that kick, what's the Axe kick like," she asked panting slightly.
(ooc: We should end this thread soon. It's getting tedious lol. We should just make a time skip of her learning the basics. Or we could carry on with a spar?)

OOC: Time skip you want, time skip you shall have! One spar before the threads done.
"I'll try not to. But I can't promise you anything, although I think I need to start falling on my other ass cheek, the left one is bruised." Alex grinned, and watched her perform the technique a few times before she finally got it down perfectly. When she did, she stopped, and panted slightly, "I liked that kick, what's the Axe kick like?" " Haha, aren't we ambitious? Alright, next is the Axe Kick." Alex saw her step away, and he moved to face the dummy again. He got into stance, and then raised his leg in front of his body.
He kept his leg straight or relatively straight as his leg rose, then brought his leg down swiftly with the heel pointed downward. He struck the dummy on the shoulder, and then brought his leg down and turned to face her. " Your turn." he said, as he moved away. He waited for her to perform the technique, he guessed it would take her about 8 tries before she could get it down. When she did, he nodded, " Nicely down, the Axe Kick required a bit of flexibility to do, and I'd say you have it." he said, grinning.
- 2 hours later -
Alex was sweating, for the last two hours he had taught her the Crescent Kick, both variations, inner and outer. The outer one had him raise his extended leg up as high as he could, and slightly up across the body, then sweeped his leg outward to the side, in a circular movement. The inner one had him do the exact same thing, except the direction of the kick changed, this time it originated from the outside of the body, heading towards the inside. He then moved on to the Spin Kick, which involved the rotation of the entire body and head before the kick is released. He knew as soon as she would try it, she would get dizzy, which would make him laugh. The times she would try it would have her spinning around more times than a merry-go-round at an amusement park.
He also showed her different variations of the kicks they had done before, except the spin was done first before executing the move. He then taught her jump kicks that included jumping before she executed the kicks learned before. All in all, she was a good student, she managed to execute the kicks he taught her very well.
" Well Reira, that's it. I've taught you all I can. Now, to show me that you have been paying attention and not slacking off, you'll spar off against me." he said, moving the dummy to the side, now that the pounding on it was over and done with. He placed down mats, forming a relatively large area to spar in, and moved the other side of the ring, and stood facing Reira. " Are you ready? It's time for the student to face the teacher!"

"Of course I'm ambitious! Wouldn't get anywhere if I wasn't," she said melodramatically. Alex then showed her the Axe Kick. Once he was done performing it, she decided that would be her favorite kick so far. It looked pretty sweet, not to mention it could deal some lovely damage to the victim. Her turn. First try..fail. Fifth try..fail...Eighth try, success! She let out a small 'whew' as she had already worked up a sweat. "Nicely done, the Axe Kick required a bit of flexibility to do, and I'd say you have it," he said with a grin. "Thanks, it's only because I have a good teacher." -2 Hours Later- Reira was working up a sweat. She had learned three more kicks. The Crescent Kick, both inner and outer, and then finally the Spin Kick. Screw the Axe Kick, this was definitely her favorite kick, it was rather fun to preform. It involved the rotation of the entire body and the head. Seeing as how she had to repeat this kick about nine times, she became really dizzy really fast. She felt like she was on one of those Strawberry Cup rides you could go on at amusement parks. She could hear Alex laughing at her state. She tried to hit him for it, but she was too dizzy and ended up falling instead. *Sigh -_-''* Once that little chapter was finished, she learned quite a few more variations of all the kicks he had taught her. The jump kicks quickly became one of her favorites. Today's lesson was a brain crammer, but Reira was doing alright. "Well Reira, that's it. I've taught you all I can. Now, to show me that you have been paying attention and not slacking off, you'll spar off against me." She choked down her water she was drinking when he said that. "Me, against you?! I'd never win...BUT, since you asked nicely, I guess I can come to enjoy a one on one spar. " What was the point of learning these techniques, if not to spar with others? Moving the dummy aside, he set up mats to act as a ring. Reira helped out where she could. She grinned, trying to be confident she would stand a fraction of a chance against him. "Ready when you are!" Taking her stance, she awaited for him to attack first. That's how Reira saw herself fighting. She didn't want to initiate fights, because she promised Matrim she wouldn't, but if they attacked her first, she'd be happy to return the favor. (ooc: I'll forgive you this time, but please refrain from rping my character )
