Of all the lame places they could have sent him, it had to have been here. Public High School 650, St. Paragon's, In all honesty, it wasn't really public, no, instead, it was a public disappointment. This was a prison school, meant for freaks, geeks and the whole allotment of idiots and degenerates that had decided stupidity was a way out of prison. Aternity wasn't in here because he wanted to be, but instead, he still had something to live for.
He hadn't seen Miku in over 2 years. He'd gotten to Japan, also tracking down Lunari in the process, and found her working away in a classroom. She'd been surprised she even had another brother, which was understandable to say the least. But barring his own family being here, there wasn't anything around this place. He hadn't yet found Solaris, who was supposed to be around, but had failed to show anywhere. Oh well, in time maybe.
Meanwhile, Aternity roamed the halls while he still had free time, using the MAC to guide him from place to place. He had a locker somewhere in this hall, but it really didn't matter to him. Walking had since become a thing of the past 8 years ago. He'd accidently discovered his power of wormhole manipulation, and soon had trained it to work on thought alone. This was evident as he jumped from place to place that he could see. Checking the MAC as he went. Unfortunately of course, his perception was a touch off. A small bang, and Aternity had jumped to the side of another boy in the hall, and lightly bumped him. "Sorry about that."
He didn't pay much attention as he jumped about 30 feet in front, once again checking where he was. This was certainly a large place...

Matrim felt the bump on his shoulder as he was walking down the hall, he looked to hear the kid say, "Sorry about that."
"Yeah, sure thing...." Matrim turned to acknowledge who the kid was and suddenly he was gone, Matrim turned a full 360 to see him off in the distance.
Teleportation? That's a nifty ability, one that would work on me since he's only effecting himself. Not to mention that'd be handy if you ever needed to hijack something. Or steal something and get it away.... or at least away from the person you were stealing said item from.....
Matrim's own thoughts were coated with double talk and plans as he began to get closer and closer to finalizing everything. It was like laying out your hand before rearranging it and getting a good look at your cards, "HEY!"
Matrim chased down the hallway to the kid, "Hey kid wait up, I need to talk to ya!"
He seems pretty solid, dressed a little weird, but at least he's got a useable qi ability. I'm sure Alex would be ok with this one. Oh yes, definitely.

"Yeah, sure thing...." Aternity shrugged it off as nothing and had continued on his way. It seemed as though this place could go on for quite a ways, he'd seen the wall outside, too high to look through and jump out...smart cookies these administrators were. Then again, Lunari was supposedly a smart one.
"HEY!"
He was about to jump down the hall once more, but the loud word and the pounding of footsteps quickly grinded his action to a screeching halt. "Hey kid wait up, I need to talk to ya!"
Unfortunately for the kid, while Aternity was non-agressive, he was known as the unfriendly side of the Awren family. Too bad. "Yeah, what do you want huh?" Aternity stood to face him, looking down and taking off his glasses to him, a sign while he wasn't pleased, was listening at the very least.

"Yeah, what do you want huh?"
"Freedom, a decent steak dinner, all the money in the world, you name it," Matrim asked crossing his arms, "You look a little lost there kid, maybe I could get you on the straight and narrow."
Matrim wasn't talking about being lost at school at all, it was sort of a convenient metaphor that was meant to be taken both literally and figuratively, "The name's Matrim Gallagher, and I have a proposition for you concerning the school. Don't worry I'm not going to force this decision on you or nothing. I just thought you might be interested."
Matrim dug out the bandanna that was to be worn by gang members of the Enforcement Squad from his bag and handed it to the kid, "Given the circumstances I'm sure the leader wouldn't mind me recruiting, we've hit a snag in recruitment recently after all. We're a group thats devoted to gaining power so that we can keep ourselves protected. We don't pray on the week, but as a group we will defend each other. It's something you should look into in a prison school. Kids and teachers both have died and I'll give you a clue, it wasn't the plague that killed them."
Matrim showed his bandanna which he usually wore on his arm, but happened to have in his back pocket. The insignia was a little tattered since his was a little worn from going through the wash several times, and proceeded to put it back in said pocket, "Oh, and whats your name?"

"Freedom, a decent steak dinner, all the money in the world, you name it," If he didn't know better, Aternity may have thought this Matrim kid was off the deep end. But sarcasm was something he knew very, very well, and so was intent on listening, as much as he didn't want to.
"Given the circumstances I'm sure the leader wouldn't mind me recruiting, we've hit a snag in recruitment recently after all. Aternity listened to the little shpeel as he took the bandanna from his hand and gave it the once over, putting his glasses back on to do so. An insignia, a gang insignia to be exact. To be honest, recruiters in gangs normally didn't just try to come up to people this bluntly. It was rather odd to say the least. Matrim's own bandanna went back into his pocket.
"Oh, and whats your name?"
He looked up. "Aternity Awren. And you still havn't convinced me this is a good idea."

"Heh, by all means it's not exactly a great idea if your settled in and like where you are," Matrim said shrugging, "But I have my own project, the principle's...... well, our principle is deceased, his son is the gang leader. I have close ties with the new principle, and ..."
Matrim suddenly realized what his name was, "and holy sh.... you're an Awren?" Matrim shook his head, "Nevermind, don't worry about it. Fact is, we have some connections with the teachers, we're close to them, a lot of them confide in us. The truth of the matter is...."
Matrim whispered this next part making sure he wouldn't be picked up by camera's with his lip movements, "I want out. We all do. They call this what they want, it's a prison. Not a school, these are our prison guards, not our teachers. You of all people probably understand the joys of freedom. Somebody like you shouldn't be locked in this cage, and I feel the same way about myself. Stick with me, join my gang, and help me to help us all get out of here."
Matrim then spoke up again, no longer whispering, "If it helps, that bandanna can come in any color you want, make it go with the outfit, hell it could just rot in your back pocket like mine does."
Of course I plan on finding a way to get it tattooed to the back of my neck but that's besides the point. It'd be perfect. Ties with Aldon, ties with Hikari industries, and on top of that a member of the awren family. SHIT I just assumed he was a prisoner..... I really hope he's not here as a TA or something of his own will......

Alright, so now this kid was getting somewhere. "Heh, by all means it's not exactly a great idea if your settled in and like where you are." Well of course, and as of right now, this place wasn't too bad. It had all the anemities of home, and actually then some. Continuing on, it was becoming clear that Matrim was either:
1.) Bluffing, and that what he said about his connections and all that was complete and utter bullshit, and his gang was nothing more than a wanna-be.
Or.
2.) That he was completely legit, and that joining up would result in a better place here, even as it seemed to be pretty good anyway.
Before he could choose though, he made another comment that somewhat startled him. "and holy sh.... you're an Awren?" "Yeah...what about it?" Aternity finally realized his family here must be prominent, like in a few schools he was in before high school. That was rather interesting to say the least, it might make his stay here a little more comfortable.
Matrim finally whispered something in his ear, and made him think. "Freedom." Aternity looked around him. Cameras, the works, and that wall...the school was in fact locked down in so many ways it wasn't even funny.
Aternity looked down, then right back up into Matrim's eyes. "Okay, I'll give it a go then, but I swear, if there is something I disapprove of, I'm out faster than you can blink. And the bandanna?"
He looked at his right half-sleeve, and uncoupled it from his forearm. "I'll go get it embedded in this." Nanotech was awesome, it made modification of clothing so much easier...

"By the way. I'm sure you know this already, but it'd be best to keep this stuff unkown by Solaris and Lunari." Matrim said pointing to the camera's, "After all, having the school AI and a teacher know about this stuff would be a major slip. Anyway, glad to have you on board. Leave whenever you want, just think of all the info about our gangs inner workings as classified."
Matrim thought he'd introduce him to Alex as soon as possible, that way Alex could approve and they could start planning out what they would do with everyone. After all, Matrim's own plans were different from Alex's. Of course, with the loss of Kane, he wasn't sure what side Alex was on anymore. This school was no more a part of him then it was with any other kid here. He was just another rich kid, such as Matrim used to be, who had lost his father.
I really should check up on him.... it's been awhile since we contacted each other.

OOC: Joining, mostly to chat with Aternity.
Riley descended down from the ceiling, and saw, to his surprise, his roommate Aternity, along with another student. Riley didn't know what the other guy was saying, so he just hovered patiently, waiting until they were finished. He didn't have to wait long, as they finished talking, and Aternity was heading towards him.
" So, what's up?" he asked as soon as Aternity was close enough for him to talk, without making it look like the guy was going nuts talking to himself. " Who was that guy, and what is that?" he added, pointing to the bandanna that was in his hand, moving close, he examined the bandanna, and saw an insignia on it.
He didn't know what the two had said to each other, he had been too far away to hear, but whatever it was, it was serious, or at least, Riley concluded that much. He folded his arms and walked beside Aternity, wondering what the heck was going through his roommate's head right now. " Hellllooo, anybody home?"

"By the way. I'm sure you know this already, but it'd be best to keep this stuff unkown by Solaris and Lunari." "Heh, sure, whatever you say." Aternity usually wasn't one to tell secrets, but to his family was another story. He was in this gang to make a change, and if the Awren family could make a change, then so be it, he'd tell them. In a heartbeat.
"After all, having the school AI and a teacher know about this stuff would be a major slip."
That confirmed Aternity's suspicions that the school was practically run by the Awren's...the school itself was one. How about that.
"Yes...good to be on board, and I'll be talking to you later." Aternity started walking down the hall once more, not bothering to phase whatsoever...he did however hear another voice... "So, what's up?" "Hm?" Aternity turned around, didn't see anything, and started back on his way. "Who was that guy, and what is that?"
Now he knew what was going on. He took off his glasses looked to his side, squinting, then putting on his glasses once more. Yes, a spirit...Riley, no doubt his roommate. Unfortunately, it seemed spirits around here were rather talkative, not his type, but he'd better make friends, despite what Aternity actually wanted. Aternity would ignore him for the moment.
"Hellllooo, anybody home?"
*Sigh* "Yes, I'm alive. Sorry." The whole gang thing could go many ways...it would be interesting to see how it turned out.

Riley finally got an answer after waiting a few minutes. "Yes, I'm alive. Sorry." Riley however, couldn't miss the sigh that his roommate had done before answering, and he took that as his cue to leave, clearly his roommate was not in the mood to talk, so he turned and walked off, leaving his roommate to brood about whatever it was that was on his mind. He took off in the opposite direction, trailing after the guy that had been talking to Aternity minutes ago. He drifted along, catching up to the guy, as something in the guy's pocket caught Riley's eye.
It was a bandanna, the same one that Aternity had, given, the guy's bandanna was a bit worn down and tattered, obviously it had been through the wash more than once. As he drifted along, he decided he would have some fun, a mischievous grin on his face. As the guy walked along, Riley behind him, Riley began possessing the bandanna, and slipped it out of the guy's pocket as gently as he could, making no sudden movements. After successfully getting it out, the bandanna hovered in the air for a minute, before flying to Riley, who immediately took off with the bandanna.
" Catch the bandanna if you can!" he said gleefully, as he flew down the hallway, the bandanna behind him. As he ran, he possessed a ball of paper someone had thrown away and threw it, hitting the guy's foot, telling him that hey buddy, something of yours is going bye bye. He ran into a open but empty classroom, and flew out the window, He landed in the school grounds and made his way towards a building nearby. He ran inside the building through the open door, and disappeared into an empty classroom. If the guy could sense or see him, it proved that there were more people than just Aternity that could sense Riley.
