Ahh another Sunday, a few more hours of free-time before I go back to the classrooms. Granted they have been anything but boring of late. The Doctor has got some freaky but really cool stuff going on with his class. And the Solaris is interesting, I'll have to talk with him. Then there is Micha, man she's good looking. I can pay attention in class pretty easily with her. Corgan thought as he went up to the roof of the dorms. He was wearing a black tank-top and a pair of jeans that had the legs cut off for shorts. Sandals on his feet and a dark pair of sunglasses over his bright green eyes. In one hand was his electric guitar he brought from home. In the other were the cords and speaker needed. He was sure he would find some outlet on the roof for his needs.
He stepped outside onto the dorm's roof and into the sun. It was a clear day and relatively quiet. That was one of the reasons he was up here on the roof. He wanted to make a little noise, but it wouldn't be anything bad. Just some music. It would be loud enough to be heard throughout most of the campus and when his voice was heard it would be one suited to this music. He could be loud and make it sound uplifting as he always poured his heart into his music.
He found an outlet and got set up. After tuning the guitar he was ready and started playing his favorite song, he felt it described the way he was.
"Baby life is like a ride on a freeway
Dodging bullets while you're trying to find your way
Everyone's around, but no one does a damn thing
It brings me down, but I won't let them
If I seem bleak
Well you'd be correct
And if I don't speak
It's cause I can't disconnect
But I won't be burned by the reflection
Of the fire in your eyes
As you're staring at the sun
When I ran I didn't feel like a runaway
When I escaped I didn't feel like I got away
There's more to living than only surviving
Maybe I'm not there, but I'm still trying
Though you hear me
I don't think that you relate
My will is something
That you can't confiscate
So forgive me, but I won't be frustrated
By destruction in your eyes
As you're staring at the sun
When I ran I didn't feel like a runaway
When I escaped I didn't feel like I got away
There's more to living than only surviving
Maybe I'm not there, but I'm still trying
Though you hear me
I don't think that you relate
My will is something
That you can't confiscate
So forgive me, but I won't be frustrated
By destruction in your eyes
As you're staring at the sun
baby life is like a ride on a freeway
Dodging bullets while you're trying to find your way
Everyone's around, but no one does a damn thing
It brings me down, but I won't let them
If I seem bleak
Well you'd be correct

Once done he stopped and started thinking of another tune to play. He had nothing else to do today and figured it was a good day to just let himself get lost in playing his guitar for a while. He was curious as to if the staff wouldn't care for this. He never saw it being against the rules, but some staff were sticklers. The Doctor probably would simply want him to keep the volume down if it bothered him. Micha would probably be fine with it. The principal would likely just tell him to put the stuff away if he felt it was needed. As for Solaris, no telling what that guy was thinking. As for the students, he didn't care much one way or another.
