During her years at 253, Michaella had a number of rather... peculiar experiences. While there she met and "befriended" Kane, who at the time was acting in his capacity/guise as the spirit wolf. As time went on, she went through a rather bad experience with Luke, Samara, and Matrim, ending with Matrim beating her up over a lie she had supposedly said. (Our dear Micha hadn't lied, though she had distorted the truth. They didn't know the truth was intentionally distorted, however, and as such had no right attacking her as she had.)
During the weeks after her beating, Micha refused to go to the hospital, opting instead to stay in her dorm and rely on time and her own homebrewed medicine. Over the course of those weeks, she and Emma spent a great deal of time talking, and the two found their similarities and set aside their differences, forging the first real friendship, for both of them. As time went by, Emma fell in love with Mat, while Micha tried vehemently to befriend the boy, but to no avail.
As they went through the school years, the two remained roommates and gradually became best of friends. In the end, after their graduation in which Micha and Emma had come out at the top of their class, the two parted ways, each with a cellphone and the other's number memorized. With such a close friend and eventually challenging studies, in addition to all the drama the students and teachers tended to generate, she'd had no time to find her family, until now.
Her search eventually brought her to a cemetary, and a memorial to a flight that crashed on a return trip from Europe. (It did, at least, explain the fear she had endured of flight for her life, opting to travel by ship when crossing water was required.) There, among the names, was her family. With them dead, and Emma in England, there no longer was anything holding her down. Setting off, she began to travel around the country, walking wherever her feet could take her, gradually building a network of contacts and associates, an information web she could call on at any time.
At the age of 22, she discovered her strange power by pure accident, while concocting a truth potion. "After taking care of you and Matt all these years, I should be able to bandage up just about any kind of accident the kids have." Emma had joked, a soft smile on her face. She'd grown happier over the past year, seeming to finally begin to let go and enjoy her life, even without her lover. The three discussed it, and after achieving a consensus, Kane offered them plane tickets and bid them farewell.
It took wasn't easy for Micha to agree to come by plane, but she refused to leave the Emma and Elayne alone. With her powers, which she had been secretly perfecting for all this time, she could keep them safe, and she refused to put them in danger by allowing them to go without her. For their good, she set aside her fear of flight and together they flew to St. Paragon's Secondary school, where they requested and recieved adjacent rooms, building a double-layer door between the two rooms for easy and safe transit.
It was time to see what life at this school would bring.

In the event there is not sufficent external energy available she will use a measure of her own inner energy, but this is avoided when possible to avoid personal strain.
Beginner: Basic Manipulation- using the thermal, sonic, and other various energies around her in the air, Michaella is able to channel them in unusual ways, slightly altering the world in her immediate control. This vastly accellerates the development of her gypsy potions and tonics, as well as making some of the more... nasty things more powerful.
In addition she is able to coat a blade with focused energy, allowing it to penetrate any form of armor easily for a single attack, afterwhich it dissipates and requires an additional turn to be charged.
Requirements: Freshman
Novice: advanced manipulation- she is now able to make slight alterations to herself to resist effect based qi powers (anything that produced an effect on the target but isn't tied to an attack that can be countered by normal means). She may only resist powers of up to the maximum level she has attained in her own qi power.
She may now coat both blades with energy and maintain that energy as long as she holds them. It dissipates one turn after they are thrown.
Requirements: Sophomore

Maximum weight of any object is 1/10 her inteligence score pounds.
In addition, now any blade she holds automatically gathers energy around itself, automatically, reacharging after any ranged strike.
