Having his fingers slammed into you would feel the same as any punch would but the advantage is the variety of ways this damage can be inflicted to such precise areas. He also uses a variety of kicks when a foe is keeping their distance.

History:
Corgan grew up in Stockton California. He had a rather comfortable home life for the most part and didn't cause any trouble for his parents. He was generally well-off most of the time as his parents both had decent jobs. They weren't rich but they were far from poor. Corgan had a decent amount of friends due to his generally positive personality.
It was soon discovered that while far from a genius, Corgan was gifted. He found he had the ability to recite anything he read word for word after only one reading. This made a large amount of his studies easy for him but he realized that it only really helped with literature and history. It helped him learn how to do math, but with math's variables it was something he had to work at even though he had average grades in the subject.
He Found that this memorization at his disposal helped with a passion he had been developing, music. He always loved music and as soon as he learned how to play the instruments, he could read any sheet of music and play perfectly. This became his passion in life for quite a while.
In junior high, Corgan started learning martial arts. He found that he really didn't have any hobbies that were very physical. With the rising violence he figured he would start being active in a way that could benefit him. Corgan figured he would use an unorthodox style. He had heard about it a few times and knew the training would be hard on him, but worth it in the end. So he began his training. First he learned to kick as he knew the training would leave his hands sore and useless at first. After he became proficient at fighting with his legs. He began training his hands. The regime was grueling, but when his hands finally toughened up, he found that thrusting his fingers at a cement block and cracking took little to no effort.
He During his last year in Junior high he met a girl named Krista. The two of them instantly got along and soon began dating. During one date they each got a gift for the other. Corgan had bought her a bracelet with several jewels in it and she had bought him the necklace he wears now. The relationship lasted for most of their last year but it ended on good terms when they both realized things weren't working out.
In Corgan's final week of Junior high he finally got into trouble, and it was serious. A small dispute in the lunchroom turned into a full-out school riot. Corgan was caught in the middle of it and even though he tried to avoid trouble and get out of the school. He was caught in the middle of the fighting when he ran across four students beating another student to death. Corgan ran in and even though he suffered many injuries, he took the other four down on his own. When things were settled Corgan was labeled as one of the many students to have been the source of the problems despite his minimal involvement.
After this has family moved and they had to select a new school for Corgan. Public High School 650 was the school that was selected for him. Even though it is a boarding school and far from home, Corgan finds this new place to be of high interest and is eager to see what this place holds for him.

Description: By focusing his Qi through his brain to command it to produce more of the electrical impulses that run through all of us, Corgan is able to discharge electrical jolts through his limbs, primarily his hands. This slightly increases the amount of damage done to his foes, but it also starts causing their muscles to suffer microseziures which cannot paralyze them, but instead make it painful for them to move and decrease their rate of movement. This ability is primarily used through physical contact though he can charge particles in the air allowing him a range of about a foot away from him at higher levels. Though this takes incredible concentration and more energy.
This ability comes at a steep price though as Corgan is accelerating his body's system in a way it was never meant to handle. His Qi makes him able to use this ability without immediate damage, but when it is deactivated he is slow and groggy and unable to comprehend things or reason do to the drain and redirecting the electrical impulses his body needs. He only would use such a technique when in dire need and it is potentially fatal if used to long at one time or too many times without sufficient recovery time.
Beginner:
This simply adds more damage to Corgan's attacks and lets the bolts flow into a person's muscle structure causing slight micro seizures. Only a small portion of their movement is restricted. He can hold this charge for a decent amount of time without suffering ill-effects. He only feels slightly drained when using his ability at this level

Novice:
There is a slight increase in damage and Corgan can direct the electrical charges even more proficiently. He can actually focus it to one part of his body and hold the charge. This is used defensively as he can gather enough charge in one area to make it harmful to the person that hits him in that spot. Due to the energy it consumes and the concentration needed. Corgan can only attain this once a day.

Pro:
Corgan's Qi ability is increased overall. The damage it deals and the speed he can use it with. He creates enough of a charge lightning can visibly been seen crackling around him. Due to the increase of power he is rather fatigued after he deactivates his Qi and is actually helpless for a few minutes.

Advanced:
Corgan can actually send jolts of lightning through a foot of air to attack his foe and deal a large amount of damage. It takes an incredible effort and is something he will rarely use as the drain it causes makes the ability unsafe to use more than a couple of times a week.

Corgan's ability is increased in every aspect. He can do even more damage and focus it incredibly fast Lightning is crackling around him at a quick rate and even though it causes no damage, the mere act of touching him can be painful. This is the point of Corgan's power that can be lethal for him if he uses it for too long. If he goes to this level of power more than three times in a week there is a high chance he will die from the drain on his body. Once deactivated at this level, he is unable to do anything but walk weakly for ten minutes or so.
