Justin walked slowly down the hall holding a ticket in his hand that was marked in triplicate with 3 different kinds of ink(meaning 9 marks) damned guardians had to make everything hard. In his hand were the last known coordinates of Dr. Luyu Kodiak-Hikari, codename Songbird, new guardian class 5, head of the guardians, probably nemesis of the hellions, if she knew what the hell they were. He looked at the paper again and stopped in front of a door. Pulling out his head gear he used the eye piece to scan his current location and compare it to the tag.
It was a near perfect match. His smile grew and he put the equipment away as he knocked on the door but quickly it turned into a frown as to why he was here. He tried to quickly spin out a piece of tech he was developing to holographically change the look of clothing and made his clothes all black to that of a mourner. He spun the card and then put it in his pocket bringing out another piece of paper and would read off of it for Mrs. Kodiak-Hikari.

The bow ran along the strings. The sound of the cello were sad and mourning, breaking the heart of any who could hear it. Her lips were pressed together, long black hair draped over her shoulders, messy in a stylish way. Her eyes were shut tight, her full lips together.
Her song was interupted, though, by a knock. Standing, her black velour jogging suit moved with her body like a glove. The black top was a pullover and the zipper went only halfway down. It was unzipped and her white lace top peeked from underneath.
Opening the door, the gorgeous woman looked down at a boy standing in the doorway. She had never seen him before, and had no idea who he was. Luyu had been playing her cello and was not that happy to be interupted. The music was being played in memory of Kane, her lost love.
"Can I help you with anyone?"
The dark of the room added to the gloom and she had lit candles instead of turning on the lights. The brightness had given her a headache, and the candles were soothing.

“H-hello Mam, my name is Justin and I am sorry to interrupt your playing, but I have come on behalf of Kane, he wanted me to do something if he were to ever die.” the look on his face was a mix between an ‘I told you so’ at the thought of Kane and of sorrow at losing such a good man to such a poor means of death. “H-he wanted me to do two things, one was say something you may remember ‘These trees are alive ya know, and I swear the elder ones can speak’ of course that’s a paraphrase, and secondly he wanted me to ask you if you knew about Schrodinger’s Cat?” he looked around a little nervously and then said “Would you mind if I came in and helped you with the riddle?”

Luyu stared at the boy in front of her. What? He had a message for her from Kane? The woman wondered if it was some sort of psychotic and tasteless joke. Did he know who she was? With a mere opening of her mouth, this boy would be on his knees, begging for her to forgive him and stop the noise.
Deciding that if this was indeed a joke he would pay, the woman pushed the door open and stepped back. "Come in." Flipping on the lights, the glow of the mahogany wood she had polished insanely since she had found out about her dearest Kane's death.
Leading the boy into the sitting area, she sat on a dark brown overstuffed chair. Luyu indicated for him to sit on the opposite.

Justin bowed respectively and straightened as his clothes shimmered a little and returned to normal. He had only been instructed to wear black for the message and that was the formal part. Now he was playing his own part. He smiled a little smile a lot like Kane’s and walked to the spot that Luyu had pointed and thought over the questions asked. He looked around and thought quietly about everything he saw, especially how much Luyu seemed like a motherly figure…
His breath caught in his chest as his eyes stopped on the ring and for a second his memories of Kane flashed through his head. “ ‘I swear the elders can speak…’” he quoted as he looked out a near window hoping to look see a group of trees from the Hikari Estate which sadly he couldn’t. he reached into his backpack and pulled out a strange pair of sunglasses and put them on and then linked an inch thick piece of machinery to the back of his head that had a headset attached to it. The glasses flashed green and pulled up the image of a computer screen and he pulled up the mic.
“Computer, open WiFi connection to Guard. Sat. Network.” there was a loud buzz and then a click and the screen changed he then said “Bring in visual on eldest tree in the Hikari Estate…” there was the sound of a camera zooming and suddenly the image was brought up on the glasses and projected up onto the wall. He smiled and pointed to that spot but quickly started to frown as he said “Its… petrified…”
His mind was sent reeling through all the information he gathered and suddenly pulled out the Schrodinger’s cat theory and said “Schrödinger's Cat: A cat, along with a flask containing a poison, is placed in a sealed box shielded against environmentally induced quantum decoherence. The flask is shattered, releasing the poison if a Geiger counter detects radiation. Quantum mechanics suggests that after a while the cat is simultaneously alive and dead, in a quantum superposition of coexisting alive and dead states. Yet when we look in the box we expect to see the cat either alive or dead, not a mixture of alive and dead.
“Meaning the tree is as the theory says, it drifts between life and death allowing the distinction between two realms to be smeared out of existence… and if Kane is right… oh dear god I hope he is… Kane isn’t truly dead!”
OOC: i know the theory is being applied wrong, but think this is a ten year old, he may be a genius but passion rules reason greatly for him, so since he wants Kane alive, he went down the wrong track and thought that this was how to proove he is.

Luyu watched as the boy's clothes were no longer black. She raised a delicate eyebrow and watched him walk to the window instead of to the chair she had indicated. He pulled out a wierd pair of sunglasses and put something in the back of them. Then he began talking about some tree on the Hikari Estate being petrified.
Standing, Luyu walked over to him, though he didn't seem to notice. Observing him as he spoke about shrodinger's cat, she realized just how young he was. The boy looked as young as nine, maybe as old as eleven. She settled on ten, it was in the middle.
“Meaning the tree is as the theory says, it drifts between life and death allowing the distinction between two realms to be smeared out of existence… and if Kane is right… oh dear god I hope he is… Kane isn’t truly dead!” In his voice, the woman could hear a childlike innocence and the true ring of hope. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder, "Come and sit down, boy."
Luyu guided him to the chair, "Take off those glasses and tell me your name." Her words were strong and reassuring, not sounding like a command but what he should do in a sort of comforting way. Whomever this child was, the woman realized that he had been affected by Kane's death in some way.

Justin closed his eyes and removed the glasses, a tear rolled down his cheek, he didn’t know why but it did. He walked over to the seat and flopped down. Wondering why Kane wouldn’t tell him this or flat out tell Luyu this. He paused and looked into the woman’s eyes before he spoke, “Mrs. Hikari, my name is Justin Green, I am head of the engineering department in Hikari Industries, Kane Hikari was my Boss, and the man who protected me and my position in the company, I am a technopath…”
He had nothing else he could muster, his throat was closing and his eyes were starting to water from the thought of the man whom he cared so much about, the man he looked to like a father, was dead. He placed his face into the palms of his hands and started crying as his logical side of his mind started to point out all the flaws in his plans, and if he followed that side, then Kane truly was gone forever…

“Mrs. Hikari, my name is Justin Green, I am head of the engineering department in Hikari Industries, Kane Hikari was my Boss, and the man who protected me and my position in the company, I am a technopath…” He said, sitting in the chair she had guided him to. She was surprised to hear herself adressed at 'Mrs. Hikari', but she supposed that Kane had told the boy that she was his wife. It brought a soft, sad smile to her face. How like him.
Looking at his young face, she spotted a tear. Luyu herself wanted to cry at the site of him, though she had no tears left. After spending the other night with Alex, she had nothing left to cry out but blood.
Without warning, the boy leaned forward and began to sob into his hands. Leaning forward, Luyu gathered the small boy into her arms, pulling him off of his chair and onto her lap. She wanted to comfort him and let him know that she understood how he felt.

Justin’s tears renewed as he wrapped his arms as best he could around the woman. His words came out between sobs as he tried to control the tears “y-you d-don’t know d-do y-you? K-Kane wrote a w-will…” His tears continued as he went on doing his best to explain everything that was supposed to go down, everything that should have happened, everything Kane planned and a copy of the will that held most of what he was going to give away but didn’t have everything about him and the doctor. His sobs made most of it pretty hard to understand but the message would hopefully get through.
He couldn’t help but nuzzle into Luyu as a child would do to their mother. She felt so warm and loving, there was no doubt in his mind as to why Kane chose this woman.
OOC: what justin basically said: Kane expected to die in the fight against glados, Kane wrote the will with an extra copy he never finished, he has the copy with him, and a few other things
the few other things was him doing his best to read off the part of the will that pertained to her

Luyu listened as the boy continued to cry. Kane had left her part of the estate and the right to his name. She didn't know quite how to take that. The woman loved her last name, Kodiak. It held so much tradition behind it, yet she also loved Kane and would have been honored to wear the Hikari name. Perhaps a hyphen, Kodiak-Hikari. She closed her eyes, she would of course speak to Alex and Kyoko about it first. It was their name too.
Feeling the small boy nuzzle into her, she tightened her hold around him comfortingly. "You don't have to keep reading, Justin." She said softly, resting her cheek on his head. It felt good to hold him, to act upon the motherly instincts of needing someone to comfort during this trying time.
"How did you know Kane?" She asked him gently, hoping to pull him out of his wracking sobs.

Justin paused, his tears nearly stopped along with as he tried to think of a way to hide his past, this was the first person to protect him like this since Kane… he flew through his thoughts quickly and said “Kane was like a father to me, he protected me when ever he was around, no one knew or even cared I existed besides him. It makes me sad to say I sided with the hellions instead of the guardians, I never joined either side but I looked to the hellions point of view more because mankind never really looked out for me… but the hellions protected me when I sided with their opinions and then I heard Kane died… and…” his tears started again he wrapped his arms around her again and held onto her like he would a mother.

She stroked his hair softly and breathed steadily as he was pressed up against her. She didn't know who the hellions were, only that Kane had mentioned them only a few times.
"Kane would understand, Justin. He was a smart man and was not blind to what other people were feeling." She didn't know if he had been like that to everyone, but he had always been like that to her.

Justin smiled as he looked to the woman, his eyes bloodshot from tears. He nuzzled himself into her(you get to say where) as he started to calm down before he asked “You think so?” looking around he couldn’t think of what to go with, believe his logical side, or believe his childish side? He thought for a bit and then stood up reaching out an inviting hand to get Luyu to follow.

“You think so?” Luyu nodded, her cheek still against his cheek so he could feel it. She rubbed his arm softly, the tiny boy curled up in her arms. The boy seemed to take comfort in her closenes, as he nuzzled against her, his face burrowing into the hollow where her neck met her shoulders.
Standing, the boy held out his hand. Luyu smiled at him and stood as well, taking his hand with a smile.

I already mentioned this to Justin, the post length in this thread needs to come up in length. As of now, nothing has been deducted from your counts.
Sorry guys.
