The Doctor had been rigging his TARDIS in case of emergency. He would collapse the time vortex which would cause an explosion within the TARDIS itself. It's bigger on the inside look would remain true, however, but it would no longer function as a ship.
Overnight there was noise in the distance and the Doctor didn't much care for what was about to happen. He could approach the enemy and talk sense into them, but something didn't add up. How does a military attack a prison and get away with it. All calls for help the Doctor had tried were futile. Something was up, something fishy about the leader. He began to wonder if Kane had made an enemy that was too powerful. The Doctor left the TARDIS shutting and locking the door behind him and walked into the Infirmary where all of the injured were. As well as the body of Ms. L which had been retrieved.
"Still no sign of Artemis, but we can be willing to bet she didn't do this..... still, I wonder if she is on our side or the side of those attacking.... whoever they might be."
The Doctor found a spot to sit amongst all the Chaos. Sit and think and plan.

Luyu's mocassin clad feet padded down the hallway. A small herd of students followed her, some crying others staring ahead silently. They were crouched low below the windows.
The woman had just returned from the Gym to her suite when the snipers had attacked, and had only had a short amount of time to change or shower. The first pair of shoes she had had access to that hadn't been too tall for her to move properly in were a pair of moccasins that her uncle had sent her from the reservation.
After having fled her suite to find out what was going on, the night had passed quickly as she gathered students and had led them to an abandoned classroom, where one of the students had used his Qi to melt the desks into the windows as a barrier. Then she had received a message on her MAC to get to the infirmary, which had been where she needed to get anyways. Four of the students in her group had been shot.
Thick black hair in a ponytail, the woman carried a small student in her arms who had been shot in the shoulder, his blood smeared across her, while another student who had been shot in the leg clung to her back, held up by another student. They were almost there, she could see the bend in the hallway that would lead to the door to the infirmary when one of the students screamed. The girl was looking out the window and had started screaming about the gates.
Luyu didn't stop. She knew that that would be the next target, it made militant sense, so she kept walking. "Stop screaming, Claira, and keep walking." She sounded heartless, but in truth they couldn't afford to stay so exposed, surrounded by windows. Half of these students had latent Qi, and the other half hadn't figured out to fight with theirs yet.
Finally reaching the door, one of the students opened it with his MAC, and they poured in. Placing the students on beds, Luyu looked around and saw the Doctor. She walked over to him after the students had made a huddle in the corner and closed the door. "Any news? I need to get the healthy students to the AI Core."

"Just bad news." The Doctor said, "I cheated, I looked up how this war ends. And unless we make a miracle happen, I don't think it looks good."
The Doctor turned towards the TARDIS. He could leave now. He could run. This wasn't his war, this was supposed to happen. This was how the time line was. Wars happen, and they are lost. One side always loses. Nobody knew more about the Doctor when it came to that fact.
"I could leave..... I could leave right now....." The Doctor turned towards the nearest window to see the gates in the distance being torn apart. He knew they'd come with guns. "I really do hate guns. The only time I usually tolerate them is against an alien species known as Daleks."
The Doctor pulled out his Sonic Screwdriver, and he aimed it at the TARDIS. He made it so that upon his voice command the trigger would initiate. "I'm staying though, don't worry I'll find a way to get us through this. We need to get to the core, the blast shields can take more then they can give. If we can wait it out in there we can survive this. We'd just need supplies."
"Come on, let's get those students to the AI core room."
The Doctor began rounding up students, the ones that could walk. He planned on coming back for the ones that couldn't. He began leading them to the AI core room where he would get everyone to safety while the battle raged on.
