The Doctor did what he did best, he hid. He brought people to hide with him of course, but he hid. The nurse was nowhere in site, and most of the kids were hiding in the core room. The Doctor was there to keep them all calm and cool.
"Listen, the staff and Qi capable students are outside fighting. While I don't agree with their methods I will say this. They will do their job, they will do it the best they can, and if they should retreat, these doors will survive anything."
"Yeah but what about food and water?!?!?" One kid chimed in, followed by a chorus of "yeah" and "exactly."
"Look, if I have to I'll use the TARDIS but I don't think that could-"
"But why don't we just go back in time and stop this from happening in the first place?"
"It doesn't work like that, I have to stop this here and now or else-"
"Well then stop this then! Don't just hide here with us telling us how you're going to stop this."
"Fine, you want it that way? Fine by me, but I am telling you whether you like it or not that if we go out there a lot of you will die. If I go out there the TARDIS falls into the hands of anyone who kills me. That power out there...... it's gonna get inside eventually, and this is just the beginning, if they can get inside and understand the TARDIS-"
The doors were open and Myou Hikari stepped inside, still in his disguise, he turned around and smiled, "What would happen?"
"HIKARI I SWEAR IF YOU GO NEAR THAT CONTROL PANEL!"
Gasps rang out throughout the core, students began whispering and everybody seemed interested in what the Doctor had said. Myou looked exactly like Kane, so it didn't help when he pulled the mask off.
"Finally it's about time he did something! Died my ass!"
The Doctor attempted to use his Qi but Myou had already shut the door. The Doctor doubted Myou's ability to do anything until he heard the TARDIS leaving, the modified MAC that could bring it back inside.
The Doctor knew what he had to do.
"Security Protocol Zero Engage." The Doctor said. The TARDIS not only roared to life and left, but it went exactly where it should in situations like these. Outside, where a police call box should be. No doubt someone would find it in the school grounds, the inside would be bigger then the out, but nobody inside of it, no life to anything. No lights.
As the TARDIS made it's last trip it began to explode on the inside. The time vortex collapsing in on itself with Myou near it. He would be ripped apart atom by atom and scattered through all of time and space at random.
"Hikari is dead, he always has been. He was only a ghost of christmas past, a shadow of what used to be here." The TARDIS would most likely have fallen from the sky like a normal big blue box, it wouldn't break, being a well structured ship, but it might crush some soldiers if the timing was right.
"That was Myou. He was an idiot, and he was impossible. By my means he was already dead."
Keep convincing yourself that, Doctor.
The voice of the Master rang through his head. Followed by a repeating pattern, the sound of drums. The Doctor wasn't going insane, he was simply thinking if he was any better then the Master.
