There's nothing we can do...unless we...We could warn the villagers..It would probably scare them, but if we could prove that there are Samurai warriors awaiting to attack their village, maybe we can get them to evacuate.Or..we could distract the samurai. I don't like them." " I don't like them either Reira, but we can't just appear out of nowhere dressed as we are. If you haven't noticed, we're not exactly dressed for this time period." Alex replied, indicating to his clothes.
" And even if we did find clothes for this time period, you and Matrim and Naia don't exactly blend in, pink and blue hair? Not exactly what I call hair for this time period, but maybe... Hmm...maybe I could pull it off. I mean, since I'm Japanese, and if I look like a villager if I wear a hakama and kosode, I could probably give the villagers an early warning to what will happen to them. Of course, they'd probably think I'm crazy, I probably would too, if some guy came running into the village screaming samurai are going to tear apart their village tonight, but hell, it's the only thing I can think of." Alex mused, as he looked at Reira, who was grasping her necklace with one hand.
" Reira...don't even think of taking your necklace off." Alex thought, his eyes flashing in alarm. "Who knows what would happen if you suddenly appeared out of nowhere dressed in clothes centuries from now. Panic would ensue, and more than likely, you would end up being attacked." She however, decided not to, as Alex sighed inwardly with relief. "Maybe it's best no to do anything..would that change the timeline? If we can't do anything, I don't want to be here to watch."
"Neither do I, but I wish we could help this village, I wish we could do something, anything, you know? I hate not being able to do anything..." Alex said, his gaze dropping to the ground. " If you guys got me some clothes from this period for a guy, I could probably pull this crazy scheme off...maybe...but I don't know...would we be affecting the timeline in anyway? I really don't know..." Alex turned his gaze to look at the village behind them, all those villagers, clueless to the tragedy that would befall them later tonight. And the worst part was, Alex couldn't do a single thing. "Damn it! This sucks!"
