Arranging sheet music, Dr. Luyu Kodiak made four piles. Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass. All of the music were the classic pieces that one would find in a classroom setting, from the Lion King to Eric Whitacre. There were about five pieces that each student would receive.
Walking around the classroom, her black pencil skirt moved around her round hips like a second skin, the white contrast of her silk shirt was stark. Long black hair was pulled into a loose bun at the nape of her neck, pulled just slightly to the left. Luyu's dark bangs were swept to the side, framing her lovely caramel features.
Black Jimmy Chu stilletos clicked sharply on the tile as she arranged the chairs to form a semi-circle. There were two rows, and she would either add or take away as the students came in.
Walking back to the front, she wrote her name on the board.
Dr. Kodiak-Hikari
She stared at it a moment, then erased the Hikari. Luyu wasn't ready for that yet, she was still in the mourning process.
Going back to seperating and organizing the music, Luyu listened with her diamond adorned ears for the pitter patter of teenage feet, coming to see if they could sing.

"Long time no see, Doctor Kodiak." Matrim said, walking into the choir room. He had heard she was close to Kane, and that may have been why he hadn't seen her lately, but he very much enjoyed her class, as well as her personally. She did him the honor of using her Qi, and gave him the match he was looking for with her.
"I may not look like it, but I'm a pretty decent Tenor." He said scratching the back of the head, he found a seat in the front row and sat down. He put his bag down and made sure his MAC was silenced. He pulled out his water bottle and took a sip. He waited for more students to show, but he also looked over to the teacher and smiled, "Oh, and don't worry, I'm all good and healed up now."
He was wearing a white long sleeve t-shirt, it wasn't a button up like usual, instead it was something with a little more thickness to it. Something to cover up the core in his chest keeping him alive. He wore a jacket over that, a pair of jeans, and a pair of blue chucks that matched his hair. (And the blue light from the core for that matter, not that anyone could see it.)
Last time I heard her sing, it nearly blew the roof. This girl can belt, so I know for a fact that she can teach us to sing better.

*Bang!*
It was small bang, but one none the less as Aternity's jump found it's way into the music department. Band, orchestra...Choir! If there was one thing Awren's had going for them besides all the crazy, it was their singing voices. In fact, Solaris' voice was nearly identical to that of Vocaloid 02, Kaito, when the computer program was released 14 or some years ago. It was a good program then, and it was now too.
((Marquise vs. Solaris = Tie match.)) ((http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YojLk5k6UcE))
Aternity didn't bother jumping in, as he was already outside the door, instead, he simply slipped in quietly, and took a seat next to Matrim. Doctor Kodiak hm? Well, that was a relief, an actual music major. While no one in the school really had a high degree, they didn't need to either. It was one of those implied things.
Aternity later wondered...auditions. Would there be auditions? Oh great...what did he really just get into now...?

Marquise walked down the halls in the form of Sephora, hoping she wouldn't mind. Scratch that, not giving a damn if she minded. He wanted to see if people would believe he was her. For the most part nobody suspected anything, and when he got the chance he hid away and turned back into his former self, he looked as he did when he was mortal, mohawk ponytail combination with blue red and yellow streaks throughout it. He knew he could mimic any voice, and choir was definitely a good choice. All he had to do was stay away from broad daylight, and unless the windows were open and consumed the room in pure daylight, he wouldn't have to worry about his being able to mimic voice.
He walked into the classroom and managed to find a seat, he didn't pay attention to the students or anything, first he wanted to hear a voice, otherwise he'd have to take someone elses that he had met.
Who do I know that has a singing voice....... this class will be interesting however, I will hear people sing and use their voice, I will get plenty of names and I will be able to transform into these people.... I would even manage to get some personal info most likely. This is definitely something I should have done long ago.[/color]
Two students sat by each other, Marquise looked and decided not to fall in line and instead seperated himself from them by three chairs. He sat down crossing his arms and putting one leg over the other.
"Hello," He spoke in Armenian, he decided he'd speak armenian until he had a voice he could copy for singing. "I am Johnathon"
Johnathon came out just as it would in english, he wasn't sure if there was a different name that translated to it, but names were names and Johnathon would be called Johnathon in any language.

Alex walked down the hallway, making his way to the choir room, his bag slung over his shoulder. He reached the choir room after a couple minutes and reached out to grasp the doorknob before stopping, his hand outstretched in mid-air.
He stood outside the door, wondering if he should go in or not. He then made up his mind, and turned the doorknob, going into the choir room. " Hello Dr. Kodiak." he said as soon as he walked in, but in his mind, he was saying, " Hey mom."
He saw there were already three guys here, and immediately recognized Matrim, as well as Aternity, but the other guy, he didn't know him. He weaved through the chairs and took a seat beside Matrim and grinned at him. " Hey big blue." he said, as he placed his bag down and made sure his MAC was on silent. Today he was wearing his normal black shirt, a black sleeveless hoodie, black jeans, and worn down Converse shoes.
" Aternity." he said, nodding at him, the other guy he didn't know who he was, so he didn't say anything to him before turning to gaze at Luyu, his eyes held a bit of affection for the teacher, he thought of her more and more as a mom everyday. Alex may not look like it, and he knew it himself, but he had a pretty good voice, he had sung songs before, just, nobody had heard him sing before. No one.
I wonder how's she doing? I hope she's holding up alright. I would like to have her over one day, if she can handle going into Kane's Floor again. I'll have to ask her after class is done...

Moving to her desk, the sharp heels clicked on the hard floor. Sitting down as the first student came in, Luyu smiled at him. What a surprise, it was Matrim. She nodded to him in greeting, shuffling through a few papers and finding a stack of black music folders lodged in the bottom drawer of her desk.
"I may not look like it, but I'm a pretty decent Tenor. Oh, and don't worry, I'm all good and healed up now." The woman grinned at the boy and said, "Well I just hope that any damage I dealt didn't affect you as a 'decent tenor'." Her voice was dry with sarcasm, as if she didn't expect him to be decent at all. The teacher gave him a wink, though, to show that she was jesting.
The next boy that entered was an Awren. She raised an eyebrow and wondered how this one would behave. She liked Lunari well enough, the little she knew of her, and she didn't know Solaris as anything but a prankster who the other teachers complained about disrupting classes and shot large explosives when commanded by the late Kane. She moved her mind away from the last bit, though, as a third boy walked in.
This one had multicolored hair in a mohawk with a tail. He sat down and said something in a language she didn't know. He did say the name Johnathan, though, so she assumed that was him. "Hello Johnathan," She said with a pretty smile, "I'm afraid I don't speak that language, though it sounds quite poetic. Do you speak english, or perhaps spanish, italian, german, or french?" Luyu knew a few more lightly, but in Graduate school she had learned italian german and french for her opera studies course and had learned spanish just to know it.
Standing, Luyu picked up the folders, just as Alex walked in. He greeted her with a smile that seemed warmer than a normal smile of greeting to a teacher would be. Her heart swelled and she beamed down at him, the boy she considered her son. "Good afternoon, Alex."
Walking to the circle of chairs, the Potawatomie passed out the folders, as well as blue pens. "Please write your name where it says, 'name' and we shall begin." She paused, standing in front of a music stand that was placed in front of the chairs. It was a small class, and Luyu was surprised to see all boys, but hopefully it would be a good one.
"Please sort yourselves for me, unless you already have, tenors on the right and bass on the left." She left out alto and soprano, as she didn't suspect to have any in the class.
"Once you have seated yourselves, please sing me this excerpt from Amazing Grace." She had chosen this because Luyu thought most of them would know it already.
Opening her mouth, Luyu didn't bother using her Qi. The woman had a beautful singing voice,
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me.... I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now, I see.

"Good afternoon, Alex." Alex saw her return his smile, Luyu, the woman he thought of his mother. Alex looked around, guess there would be only four of them, and all of them were guys. Wonderful. He saw Luyu walk over to the circle of chairs that they were sitting in, and passed out folders, as well as blue pens. "Please write your name where it says, 'name' and we shall begin."
Alex took the folder and blue pen, and placed the folder on his notebook, which gave him a solid surface to write his name down in the space she had indicated. He then capped the pen and looked up as Luyu gave them further instructions.
"Please sort yourselves for me, unless you already have, tenors on the right and bass on the left." Alex stayed where he was, he was already on the right side, he guessed he was a tenor, because his voice was not deep enough for a bass.
"Once you have seated yourselves, please sing me this excerpt from Amazing Grace." Alex looked up and saw Luyu begin to sing, her voice really was beautiful. He waited a couple minutes before he started singing, his voice sounded almost exactly like his father's when he sang, the slight Japanese accent he had whenever he spoke disappeared completely.
That's the thing about singing, even if you have an accent when you speak, as soon as you sing, that accent disappears. Right now, all he could hear was his voice, the first one voice to flow out together in harmony with hers.

Matrim listened to the kid he didn't know say his name, and then decided to greet Aternity, "Hey." That was all he said, it was all he needed to say. He didn't necessarily know Aternity too well with the exception that he could instantly teleport places and he was an Awren he had accepted his gang invite.
Speaking of gangs....
Alex walked through the door, greeting Doctor Kodiak. Now that he thought about it, he had seen Alex before around Dr. Kodiak, it was in music theory, he was playing a guitar. It was a nice guitar, but Matrim preferred the one his father had left him for obvious reasons.
"Hey big blue."
"Hey little red."
"Aternity."
Yup. They were men of few words. They kept the riff raff from being to riff-raffy, and underground a few of them were running the jail break operation of a lifetime. It was part underground railroad, part Gilligan's Island. Of course, it involved dressing up as a yuppy for one day.
Well I have that to look forward to.
Matrim brought his attention to the teacher who had began to give instructions. Writing his name on the paper Matrim was already in what would be the tenor section. He began to sing along to the song, Amazing Grace was definitely old, but it was familiar at least. His voice came out very well. He was a little rough around the edges but he wasn't tone deaf. He could control his voice, he wasn't big on controlling vibrato, but he knew how to sing. That was for sure.
So Alex has a voice, well thats good. This song could use a little decoration with another higher singer, but don't look at me to provide that sort of harmonizing.
