He waited for the hit, he wasn't a chicken, he wouldn't go back on his word, and from the looks of things, it was going to get bloody and painful.
Focus on staying conscious. If i can manage that, I can then worry about my shield, she looks like she's coming with something, a roundhouse maybe? Possibly a hay maker? Oh well, focus on the Qi. Focus on the Qi.... Focus on your shield.... it's about to take a lot of abuse. I hope my training hasn't been for nothing......
Matrim thought about his gang beating the living shit out of him with random objects on his orders. Solaris had to activate the nanites.
NANITES! Oh fuck, why didn't I ask Solaris how to activate those myself, I could have survived through this shit without passing out guaranteed. Son of a bitch......
She was going with a kick, her right leg homing in towards his neck.
Shit, brace for impact....
It was ugly, the hit was direct, he was pushed downward and towards the wall he was just leaning on, his head collided with the wall and his body slumped down the side. You could begin to see the shield over Matrim's skin. It was visible finally for anyone watching to see, Qi capable or no. It spider webbed across his entire body. He managed to open his eyes. His orange eye was fine, his brown eye was a little teared up from the stinging he felt. He stared at his hand waiting.
5.......4........3........2........1.......
And like broken glass Matrim's shield shattered, much how it had when Dr. Kodiak had sent him flying with her voice alone. He had been blasted to the roof above, and fell to the ground below without his shield. The last theing he heard was the sound of shattering glass, which he heard here as well. His Qi had shattered.
"Hehehhehehehehehe..." He said, his head bleeding from where he hit the wall, and the feeling that his neck might have snapped in two if his shield wasn't up for the impact, "Well then....... I'm not sure how long I can stay awake......."
He shut his eyes, "But I gotta say, good show mam. Thank you......" It was the same thing he had told Luyu after she had kicked his ass, with a little less blood from that encounter and a little more advantage on the mat, "From the bottom of my robotic machine heart."
Solaris..... I'm about to fall into unconsciousness. If you could activate my nanites, that would be great. Thanks.
He hoped the thought got across, "I think I would very much like to meet the kids you raised....... bet the pack a hell of a punch........."
Matrim opened his brown eye, it stayed open, along with his grin. He wasn't unconscious yet, but he would be soon. Personally he wanted to make sure he was going to be OK before he went night night. Especially considering it was morning.
"Guess you win."

To the core, Solaris had been watching the entire fight. And laughing his ass off at the same time. The new principal was a beast, and a beast without Qi none the less. Her name, was Natasha Sabir, that crazy girlfriend of Demon's who he used to talk about all the time at 253. Oh the joys of childhood memories. Subject: Matrim G. Status: Critical Concussive Damage!Oh right, save the boy...got it. Solaris sent the autofire signal for the nanites. He'd be okay...as long he didn't move for a little bit. Oh well. His problem. /AI Core Control Active/ /Connecting: Matrim G./

What Natasha did next, would be shocking to some. Her hands were utterly gentle and careful. As some one who brought pain, she knew what she had to do to keep him in stable condition and get him help. To the nurse's office!!! Bracing him correctly, keeping everything broken elevated and in a secure position as she lifted him into her arms.
It wasn't the first time she did this.
"To the nurse with you, and God, I hope she doesn't faint at the sight of blood like the last one I met."
Some school nurses just couldn't handle anything. Clucking under her breath like any other normal mother, she carried the boy as if he weighed nothing. Which to her, he pretty much did. The red head sighed and headed to the nurse's office. It had been the first place she had visited, just in case of things like this.

"Don't.... just leave me at my dorm...... honestly, went through this with another teacher." Matrim said, trying to stay awake, "Nanites..... in my body...... heal while I sleep...... pain killers give me nightmares......"
It was the truth, of course, he wasn't sure if she'd listen. She probably thought he was out of his gourd for suggesting such a thing. He kept his brown eye open and kept his smile though, "But seriously, I'm glad you're so friendly. It explains why he respected you."
Matrim was a bit insane, but this was about what his father taught him.
Keep manners, do whatever I humanly can to make a better world, and the whole ring bit...... but he had rules about fighting. Something about it being an act between friends. Something to get each other strong. If someone didn't kill you in a fight, they were your friend. And that was how you distinguished your real friends from your enemies.
"Ok....."
-blackout-
Matrim awoke in a hospital bed after having a nightmare, "SHIT!" He said out loud, knowing he was taken to the infirmary, he knew pain killer nightmares when he had them. The worst part is you couldn't wake up since the pain killers kept you knocked out. He hated that.
"Where am I....... the hell is going on...... don't tell me I have something else robotic now........"
He tried to focus his eye, he thought he saw someone, but he closed his eyes again for a second.
"Anyone there?"

It was like she had a first day of school check list. The red head always seemed to be getting into trouble, but this time, it was almost scary. Had she found saps to influence? Yes. Had she gotten them to bully others? Yes. Had it completely backfired? Yes.
Already today, ten different boys had confessed a crush or something to that degree randomly while she was walking by. Lani couldn't put her finger on it, but it was pissing her off. She had gotten into a scuffle of sorts and that had landed her here.
No one else in the entire room except some odd boy with blue hair. She had poked around. There was a bandage on her face, and another along her right fore arm where some one had kicked, punched, and pulled a make shift knife on her.
People around here were resourceful buggers.
"Yes. Some one is here."
Her voice was light, and female. A curtain separated them from each other, though the two beds were close. She was lying on her side, facing away from him. Her dark red hair was bound in a braid, like her mother use to wear long ago (not that Lina knew that). She wore a simple jean skirt, white shirt, red zip up jacket, and some converse. Simple things for her first day of school.
Her icy eyes closed and she grumbled. It was like a headache was gunna form right behind her eyes, but it was just waiting for something. Unknown to Lina, her newly awakened Qi was just starting to show.

"Where am I....... the hell is going on...... don't tell me I have something else robotic now........" Solaris had been standing there awaiting his patients for the longest time. It made him laugh, a girl had come in somewhat earlier, by the name of Lina Sabir...must be the principals daughter or something. Didn't really matter much. Who he REALLY wanted to laugh at was none other than Matrim Gallagher, who for the life of him couldn't keep his body parts in their proper placement.
A shame really.
"Welcome back Mr. Gallagher, I'm assuming you didn't bring me a card thanking me, so no lollypop for you I'm afraid." Solaris kept pacing about the room, also walking over to Lina. "Looks like you just got in your first scrape, hope it didn't hurt too bad. You'll find out soon I'm not so good at micro-managing the school...can't stop every fight you know."
The AI looked out one of the windows and simply kept right on speaking. "So, you want to both tell me why you're here?" It was kind of a test. Matrim should already know the proper response. If he went first, he could save Lina the embarrassment of asking who he was.
It was the second time Matrim was here.
The least he could do was give a nice introduction.

"Good," Matrim said looking up at the girl. She was fairly attractive, and Matrim didn't usually have a thing for redheads, but he suddenly went back to his old ways. He started the calculations of his chances with the girl. Something he hadn't done since he had asked out........ what was her name.....
He ignored Solaris' very existence.
Ummm, I'm hurt, so there's the hurt puppy dog factor, my chest is probably showing, and while the scars won't have healed up for another few days nanites or no, theres that rugged appeal. Losing the fight takes a hit back, so we're looking at....... 0.0339% chance.
I like those odds....... REIRA....
"Oh uhm," He said, remembering Reira for only a second before opening his eyes again and looking at the girl, suddenly he felt like maybe it wouldn't matter, maybe..... no.... no it wasn't like that. Besides there is no way this girl would like him, "Do I know you?"
Do I know you? Dumb ass question, might as well have asked if she was from out of town you lame ass moron.
"I mean, you look kinda familiar, in a my neck is tingly sort of---- " He then just realized Solaris was even there, he was totally focused on the girl, "Oh, you." Matrim said, suddenly feeling like Solaris should leave them alone.
"I appreciate the help but seriously, don't you have programs to write or something?" Matrim turned back to the girl, "I'm Matt. What's your name?"

Lina in turn, ignored the boy. She had flipped over so her face was now showing. Cute little nose, icy blue eyes, full lips. No one would guess her to be Natasha's daughter on sight without knowing her last name because she had too much of her father's looks in her for that. She rolled those eyes for a single moment before speaking.
"If I wound up at this school, it's hardly my first fight mister. I can handle myself decently."
She sat up and brushed the fingertips of the other hand along the bandaging of the other fore arm. Lina hoped that it wouldn't scar. She would hate a scar there. The red head finally looked over at the boy's direction. Mat hmmm?
"No, we haven't met before. My name, if you must know, is Lina."
She lifted a single eyebrow at the boy, wondering what was going on in his mind. It was really weird, these reactions all day. Unknown to Lina, her Qi was sending out what could only be called a "vibe" on the same level as a "love potion" of sorts. Weak little doses, to any one within a certain radius of her that was male. This included the young man lying on the bed next to hers.

"Well, I'm guessing your just as screwed as the rest of us getting landed here, I'd say welcome but somebody has already done that apparently." Matrim looked over and raised to point at her bandaged forearm. "Smart money says you won considering the small amount of injury."
God knows I lost..... I lost the second she offered me a free punch. I lost the second I said 'hello'.
"Personally I just got my ass handed to me by the new principle. Thought I was strong enough to take her hits, but two punches and a kick to the neck later here I am." Matrim explained his situation. He looked up, and to some extent began to worry about Reira. "Reira's probably going to worry."
Yeah...... she will.
"So what'd you do to get locked up in this joint, you don't seem like one of those 'I was framed' types. I usually can tell those types, and they wouldn't be as lucky as you with small injuries, they'd look a lot worse then I do." Matrim was healing quite well to tell the truth, but it would still take some time for the Nanites to heal him. The bone damage was pretty bad too, mostly his jawbone.

She chuckled, a low hearty sort of thing as she swung her legs off the bed and planted them on the ground below. Lina was fine, the medical staff were probably fretting over her so due to the fact she was who she was. Her mother's daughter. And then the boy Mat, spoke of the very person.
"Yes, she really doesn't like holding back, or so I've heard."
Another chuckle and she stood, so much shorter than her mother. Lina was 5'6", her mother was eight inches taller. Quite the difference. Scary really when you thought how tall her father was.
"I got landed here because the mob called the cops on me."
Let him simmer on that. Really, they had. Kick some dogs, be cruel to some mistresses, steal some things, and shoot a gun in some one's leg and look where it lands you. Though apparently they called the cops, because grandma had called in some favors...or made some threats. Lina hadn't known Grandma Kate to have had connections in the mob until then. Weird.
"They pulled the other guy out of the trash can I suppose. And that dumb blonde had a make shift knife that was in turn used on her. I guess I'll get scolded for that too..."
She stood, and stretched arms swinging above her head, icy eyes closing for a moment as she pushed herself up on tip toes. And then her arms swung back down. She relaxed, shoulders comfortably setting. She gazed at the first male, and then the other. Her full lips were twisted into a sort of smirk.
The boy had fought her mother and lived? He should consider himself lucky then. Lina had seen all sorts of people on their death beds after fighting her mother. People generally stopped trying to mess with their family. Or if father got a hold of them. But that was a little different.

"MATRIM GALLEGHER YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!" My voice echoed throughout the infirmary as I stepped away from my desk and towards the room where he and another girl were staying for the time being.
Today had been a long day and hearing that my adoptive son had been fighting, no less the woman that was replacing my husband as principal, was the cherry on top. I proceeded into the room, screaming at the top of my lungs at him. One, he deserved it and two, it was mildly embarrassing.
When I had been told that he was coming in because he's been fighting the new principal, my face had darkened with so much anger that Elayne had gone to a chair in one of the corners and did her homework quietly, afraid of that much of my wrath. That boy had gone too far this time. I may...dislike Natasha, but I didn't care if he was destroying my parents' graves, he was not supposed to be getting in any more trouble. That little...
I looked at Miss Lina...Sabir, her chart said. Wonderful, I get to deal with another one. My eyes rolled and I looked her over to make sure she was okay to dismiss to the other room so I could do a final check up and let her leave. She was, thankfully.
"Miss Sabir, if you could please go to the main office to wait for me, I would appreciate it." I said, just daring her to challenge my authority. I looked over at Solaris before getting the girl's answer. "You may go too, Solaris. I dare say Matrim's fine in my hands. He'll just be grounded for a while, no more injuries from my hands. If you could, close the door behind you please."
My anger was simmering below my words, just waiting until they both left and I got let the pot boil over and yell at him for what he had done. He was going to explain and then he'd be punished properly. I was not going to let my adoptive son be a delinquent, even if he was already in prison school. He wouldn't be fighting here, I was going to make sure of it.

"Geez, your embarrassing me. I told you when I signed up for this gig that I wasn't quite house broken." Matrim said to his adoptive mother. He had refused to leave his dorms yet, he figured there wasn't a point in moving if they were in the same place. Besides it was school rules. Attending students were dorm life only.
"Besides, Solaris has these Nanites in me, as long as I'm not decapitated I'm sure I'll live through it, alright?" Matrim said, having been frustrated with his mother. "But uhh, thanks mom." He said, he really did appreciate having a mother. He hadn't known his real mother, only knew she died in childbirth and according to his father, she had no family aside from him. It was a horrible way to die, and it was information he kept to himself.
"Anyway Lina, I'm impressed, not that your looking to make me that way, it's not everyday that the mob calls the cops. It's not even a once a year deal unless the cops are dirty. Guess that's what happens when you make enemies in high places." Matrim gestured to his wounds with his thumb, "I know a lot about doing that. Lucky for me I'm not your average Joe, I have my own hidden strengths that kept me alive."
Though I am quite curious as to how your mother got so strong without Qi.... and if you are Qi capable. With a mother like that and a reputation like yours, it seems like something would be very.... interesting about you. Super strength maybe? It almost seems that way with your mother. Good looks and super strength? That would definitely be a killer combo.
Matrim thought about the possibilities of teaming up with someone who was incredibly strong, it'd be a good mix. A sword to go with the shield.

Too bad she wasn't strong. At least, not more than your average girl could get to at the tender age of fourteen. Lina wasn't anything like her mother, unlike her brother dearest. That beast was just like her momma. The girl simply nodded to the older woman and headed that way.
"Not out to impress you, just trying to live a little honestly."
She walked over to the nurse's office, and as soon as the woman was done with her, leave. No point really, in talking to the boy after that point. She was already bored. There for she was done with it all.
((OOC: Sorry it's short guys. Couldn't think!! ))
