Matrim had heard there was a new principal. Apparently his older red headed counter-part didn't take to leadership well when it came to this place. He was probably just too lazy or something. He wasn't meant to be stuck behind a desk anyway, that didn't suit him.
Matrim was wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweat pants with stripes down the side, they were his father's clothes once, the clothes he wore when he was training with a girl from his old school.
My dad had to learn how to fight from a chick, seriously what the hell. If I met her I out to kick her ass just to prove how weak my old man really was.
Matrim was jogging along the school grounds when he thought he noticed an older woman, possibly the new principle. He didn't know her name or anything about her so he figured he'd greet himself, friendly at least until she egged him on to act otherwise. But he always tried to befriend staff, if for nothing else then at least to learn what their qi ability was.
"OI! YOU!" He said waving his hand, letting the little british he had out. "You wouldn't happen to be the new Principle by any chance, would you?"
Matrim breathed heavily, he had been jogging around in the early morning but he had not taken a break for awhile. His heart however, wasn't over reacting.
I suppose I'm going to have to explain my left eye being orange and the right being brown..... oh well.

A voice called out and caught her attention. Because she really wasn't 'at work' at the moment, she was once again dressed in normal casual attire. This being a pair of dark jeans, some camo converse, and a white white beater under an olive green jacket. Her hair was loose and in waves well past her shoulders. Icy blue green eyes turned and locked onto the student. She was about four inches taller than him.
But before she could form a single word, Natasha stopped. It couldn't be...could it? The boy looked just like... It would make sense though. She cocked a smirk, arms crossing under her chest.
"Yes, I am. Natasha Sabir. Your father's name was Luke, wasn't it?"
She was just taking a guess, but her smooth voice didn't have a hint of that. She sounded so sure of herself, standing there. The red headed woman lifted a single brow, staring at the young student. The boy couldn't be that old. Probably around the same age as her Lina. The pale woman just waited for an answer. If it was a no, then oh well, a wee bit of a mistake. But if it was a yes... well, that would be more than interesting. She chuckled at the mere thought of it.

Matrim looked at the ground. Once again his past being brought up, he just had to take a moment.
"His name is Luke. He......." Matrim teeth clenched for a second, "He was murdered......"
"You're name is Natasha? And you know my father? You went to 253 didn't you? My father spoke of a girl from there, he said that both her and her mother were very strong women. Not just physically, but strong women in general." Matrim looked up to see her, "There are other children here who are descendants from 253 as well...... you should look into that if you ever get a chance....."
He then wondered what happened to the girl who beat up his father on occasion, "So, did you bring your family here or something? Do you have a family?"
Matrim wasn't ruling out the second. As it stood, he was that way. Matrim Aldon never did give him an answer after all.
She knew my father.... she could be an ally.... just like Alex, somebody connected with this place that might help me get out. Of course, she wouldn't have to help me, after all, Alex has taken care of that.

Luke was dead. She processed the information without her face even changing a bit. No reaction, just that calm look as the tall woman stared down at the young man. Her slight friendship with Luke had been many, many years ago. Around twenty actualy. There were very few she really cared about now. So, it didn't really bother her. Just another fact of life.
"I suppose I am that Natasha. My mother... was the Vice at the school we went to, she had to be strong."
She shifted, moving her frame as she put her weight on her other hip. This kid wanted to know about her family hm? It wasn't like she was trying to hide the facts from people. Her family would be coming here.
"And yes my family will be coming here. My oldest girl looks to be around your age. My boy is just old enough to start here. My youngest has a few years. And my husband will be teaching here as well. If you really must know."
She continued to stare at him. Call it a gut feeling, but Natasha was pretty sure she should keep an eye on the boy. Trouble maker? More than likely. Maybe he didn't try to be one, but it just happened? A lot of people tended to be like that.
"And frankly, honestly, it's been twenty years since then. I don't give a damn about people's kids or whatever."
She was getting bored of this. The red head turned on her heel and scanned the hallway they were in. Chosing a random direction to go in. That's what she had been doing before the boy had started shouting at her. Exploring this place, getting things in order in her mind. She wanted to know each knook and cranny in this place. ((ooc: Spell check don't work at work. Sorry!!! ))

"And frankly, honestly, it's been twenty years since then. I don't give a damn about people's kids or whatever."
A smile broke across his face. He enjoyed it, and then he laughed a bit, a full hearted laugh, and eventually stopped and spoke, "Sorry, it's just nice to get a bit of honesty out of a person. But seriously, you can't expect me to take you seriously with that random storm off when your heading in the direction of the boys dorms!"
Matrim began to laugh again, "All you have to do is ask me, I'll show you around, worst case scenario I would have told you to fuck off, then I woulda been in an akward situation since the boys dorm happened to be where I was going too..."
Matrim then spoke up, "But I guess that's up to you. According to my dad I wouldn't want to piss you off, but then again he wasn't near as tough as me. Frankly I don't see what all the fuss was about."
Matrim wanted to fight, he wanted to figure out her Qi as fast as possible, it was just how he was. He wanted all the info on all the staff, Qi abilities, fighting styles, the punch they pack, all of it. Luyu had been so kind as to offer him that, and he was gracious. Artemis also did him a favor, showing that she could use her bones outside of her body.

"It wouldn't be like that. I'm not interested in little boys."
Only one man had ever attracted her. Natasha was currently married to that beast of a man. That tall, handsome male was all she could ever want, desire, need... But he wasn't here at the moment. Demon would be joining her shortly, but he wasn't here yet.
Natasha stopped in her tracks and stared at the young boy by her. He was picking a fight with her. The little ninny was actually trying to pick a fight with her. She just stared at him, icy eyes almost glaring. Did he want to follow his father to the grave or something?
"If you want a fight, say so. I'll make every inch of you wish you were never born."
The older woman peeled off her olive green jacket, the muscles in her arms standing out as she clenched her fists. Every bit of her was still whipcord. Maybe she didn't have the abs she use to, but you try having three kids and still keep them perfect!!! Her torso was clad only in the white wife beater now as she chucked the jacket away on the ground. Dirt and dust could be cleaned off of it, blood could not.
"Well little boy?"

"I'm curious is all. They need someone strong to lead this school so there is no doubt in my mind that I'd lose this fight. I'm just curious as to what exactly I can expect from you. And well, while I seem like the talkative type, I usually greet people with a closed fist instead of a handshake. So sure, let's do this thing. If I'm lucky, which... depending on your definition I may or may not be, maybe I'll see something worthwhile. Worst case scenario I take a weeks vacation with a tube doing my breathing for me."
Matrim shrugged, he didn't enjoy pain, he hated it. He hated the infirmary too, but he was more worried about what this woman was capable of. What it would take to stop her in case she became an enemy, his first thoughts were of the Enforcement Squad, and gaining information on the new principle would definitely be good. Could Alex have done this the easy way by looking through records? Sure, but Matrim had a little more initiative. He wasn't going to let Alex do all the recon missions.
"Nothing personal, of course. Call it, professional curiosity." Matrim activated his shield just in case this crap got real, he didn't know what to expect from her, but if she went full on Qi with his shield down, he might not live through it. And it sounded like this woman could give a shit about his well being.
So dad, this woman taught you how to fight, either you weren't paying attention, or she's more bark then bite, because you couldn't even teach me past a certain point.

Yeah, this kid had a death wish. That was the only reason Natasha could think of to make him act like this. Even if he had some one go through her files, the information he found wouldn't be of any use. Just normal things, like moving houses, having kids, working hard, living normal. Maybe wrecking a few cars in the process, but otherwise, normal American activities. Nothing illegal, and no qi. Not that he would even guess at the fact that Natasha had no secret powers.
She couldn't turn into a super sayian. She couldn't suddenly breath water. Her punches didn't make things explode. Her glare was a normal hateful glare, not one that could freeze you.
Nothing of that sort, even though her mother once had such things. Natasha didn't even know that. Instead the tall woman cracked her knuckles slowly, without ever knowing he had a "shield" up. Those icy eyes locked back onto him and she smirked.
"Fine then."
All that needed to be said. She lifted one hand, and while it might be a little over done it was fun, ushered him toward her with a flick of her fingers. A challenge.
"You get one hit. You hit me with all you got, and better pray it does some damage. This is the only hit you'll ever be able to land little boy."
She leaned forward and tapped a finger on her smooth skinned cheek. Right there. Punch me, kick me, try and hurt me right there. That's what she was saying. If he went for another spot, he'd learn the hard way to listen to his elders. And she was going to enjoy every single moment of it. Just as she had enjoyed, so long ago, beating his father into the ground. What a day this was turning out to be!

"You get one hit. You hit me with all you got, and better pray it does some damage. This is the only hit you'll ever be able to land little boy."
Matrim unzipped his hoody, and dropped it to the ground, revealing well toned muscles, he was definitely in better shape then his dad could have ever imagined. The core in his chest emitting the blue light over where his heart was. He put his fists up, bringing on leg slightly behind his other, shoulder length apart.
She gestured towards her cheek in a taunting fashion, offering Matrim a free hit. Matrim smiled, that is the exact tactic he would use on someone else if they challenged him. He was starting to like this woman. If she was able to fight well, he would begin to like her more. It was something nobody understood about him, his room mate Darien even seemed to have a problem with him, thinking just because he went full on in a fight it meant he didn't like him.
To tell the truth, it's because he respected him.
Matrim charged, but not without slight awareness that she could be trying to trick him. Oh well, if she did it wasn't like he'd be able to stop it. He just assumed he'd get this punch off and then they could get things started. reaching back with his fist he approached he put his momentum, strength, and concentration on this punch to her cheek giving it everything he had.
If you're going to give me the hit I'll take it. I'm not that stupid that I'd pass up a chance like that.

His fist connected with her face and Natasha could have laughed. Her body didn't move a single bit, feet staying right where they had started. The red head had closed her eyes when the punch landed, waiting for the power of the impact.
Maybe he was strong for a young teen. Maybe he was strong for a kid here. But he wasn't any where close to her level.
"How funny. I could have sworn your father could hit harder than that. Did he teach you nothing?"
She remembered the training she had put Luke through. The punching bag, the push ups with her foot planted between his shoulders to make it harder. Everything to build up his endurance and strength. If he had continued....
But he was dead. That was over with. That was all there was to it. Natasha only concentrated on the male before her, and what damage to do with him. She launched herself forward toward him, swinging a fist at his stomach. Nothing to strong or fast...for her. At least not yet.
If it landed, it would hurt like hell. If he some how dodged, well, she'd just catch him and hurt him some more. There was no running away now. There would only be pain.

A blow to the stomach, it was fast, but Matrim expected faster. He smiled at her comment of his father, he would have said something back but he didn't give her the pleasure. He wasn't going to get worked up.
The fist came.
Dodge... block..... no..... she'd just get me anyway....
Matrim was curious, it was his nature. It was his greatest downfall, but what didn't kill you only makes you stronger. Give or take a few weeks of physical therapy in between that is.
The hit winded Matrim, she punched hard enough to make an impact even with his shield up. He didn't bother thinking what would have happened if it was down. "Yeah, well I guess neither of us are living up to our reputations." Matrim said, taking the pain and attempting his best not to show it.
Ok... so the girl throws a punch..... what else is new. She's had years of practice, of course this probably explains why my dad seemed so good at dodging shit.
"Gonna have to come harder then that." Matrim said, "Gonna have to use some advanced Qi if you plan on shattering this shield of mine."
Matrim stood tall and smiled, raising his chin up and pointing to it, he was giving her the next hit. "This one's free of charge, just repaying you for the one you gave me."
Use your damn Qi lady... that's all I'm here for.... then I can continue the fight knowing I won something.

She paused for a moment, letting his words just blow over her. And then Natasha realized what he was saying. She started laughing. Laughing very hard in fact. It could almost be seen as scary.
"Qi? You mean all those funny little powers everyone here seems to have?"
She just grinned at that, icy eyes twinkling.
"I don't have any."
She took the free hit, and decided to stop holding back. The boy wanted to get hurt? Fine, she'd put him in a damned ER. He lifted his chin and she struck as hard and as fast as she could.
His bones would shatter, if it connected. Or should at least. She didn't know how well that shield of his would hold up to her full strength. Well, most of it. She didn't want to kill him after all. Students here are still students. It'd be a bad stain on her just beginning record at this school. She wasn't out of that. If the hit connected, he would go flying. At least.
"Never needed such silly things."

-a few seconds later-
"what..... happened....... why am I all the way over here?"
-what happened-
As the punch started to connect, Matrim realized the mistake. The woman had no Qi, but she was put in charge, she had to be strong, deadly strong. Only problem was, he didn't pull back fast enough, he only managed to tilt his head back further. Her fist hit his chin with his mouth slightly open, his mouth closed hard which rattled his brain a bit. (causing the minor blackout)
Matrim was sent straight back from his attempt of a dodge, hitting the floor hard, sliding, and eventually flipping backwards onto his stomach.
-back to where we were early-
"Seriously... what the fuck happened," He said to himself under his breath, pushing himself off the ground, staggering as he got up.
Oh yeah..... Natasha Sabir..... deadly ass fighter..... fast as hell, strong as hell, and no qi.
"Don't suppose calling 'time out' is going to cut it huh?" Matrim asked. He was too deep in, he could either beg like a dog, or he could charge her like an idiot would. Or he could run for his life like a coward. Well, he wasn't a dog, he certainly wasn't a coward, and while he was idiotic, he wasn't suicidal. So he had to come up with a different option.
Stand here and take whatever she brings like a man? Maybe she gets bored with this, maybe she wouldn't take free hits repeatedly.... sure it'd be annoying as hell.... but at least this way I don't seem like an idiot, dog, or coward.
"Ooooooook......I'll admit I got a little carried away with the," He nearly lost balance, he realized his chin had been cut on something, and it was starting to swell up, he wasn't sure if it was broken at the moment and he didn't care to find out, "But I was right about my shield...... I don't think you can break it like that..... but I have a proposition for you."
In all reality Matrim's shield had taken a massive hit, the minor blackout had caused his shield to drop, meaning the initial landing and the tumble were both without a shield while the punch had some padding. Currently another hit could shatter it.
"One more free hit, and if you shatter the shield you win fights over. Otherwise we call this thing a draw you walk away and I go home without losing the toy prize inside. Not gonna lie, it's a pretty tough feat, but it's nearing maybe 47% right now. Any one attack, just one."
Matrim nearly fell again, this time he put his hand out to the wall on his right, put his weight against it to catch his breath and then stood in the center. "Just don't hit this thing here," he said pointing to his core, "I'm pretty sure I might die from one of your hits directly there."

Break his shield? How silly was that? Natasha was going for a K.O. But since he was giving her the chance to finish it, she would. The grin that was on her full lips could only be called evil. She walked slowly toward him, taking her time, as she had waiting for him to fully wake up.
"I never planned on killing you boy, so don't worry about that. I just planned on teaching you a lesson in manners. And because I'm not the type to spank you over my knee or wash your mouth out with soap... I beat the holy crap outta kids instead."
Just not her own. For some odd reason it was like her weakness was the children that looked so like Demon. So like her beloved and herself all wrapped up in one. She just couldn't. And Natasha considered herself weak because of it. Because of what had happened to her Lina...
"A one hit wonder it is then."
She'd do it to. While he was standing there, having problems breathing. Her legs were stronger than her arms. Natasha would break that stupid little shield of his without even trying hard. Right leg struck, lifting and attacking.
A golden kick. Something used in kick boxing. The perfect way to arch your back. The perfect way to line up the kick so it hit the neck of your opponent in such a way it was almost always a 100% insta-K.O. Thus the name the golden kick. If he didn't dodge, he'd have to be K.O.ed. And then the tall woman would pick him up and take him to the nurse.
But if not, if he dodged...well, she'd figure it out from there.
