Matrim thought he'd set up a picnic for him and Reira, something he found corny, but according to Luke it was a good idea that he had done with Samara, except there was no beach here, and Reira couldn't teach Matrim to surf. Since, well, he already knew how to.
Well, lets see here, bread.... sandwich stuff..... water..... oreo's..... marshmellows.... because you never go anywhere without marshmellows... learned that in Anatomy.... hehehehe..... Dani is pretty entertaining......
Matrim thought about everything on the list, and made his way to the grounds at the spot where......
"SHIT!"
I am a complete idiot......
Matrim had forgotten one thing, to actually invite Reira to the picnic. He desperately searched for his MAC, "Ha! There it is, ok.... text Reira........." The text read,
Hey Reira, if you aren't busy at the moment you should come join me, I'm outside near the edge of the woods on the big hill, not too hard to spot me, I'll be the one with the Blue hair and a picnic basket lying next to him,
Matrim.
"Alright..... that works....."

It was a rather normal day for Reira. She was dressed in her usual, feeling her usual random self but the one thing that was unusual today, was that she was spinning around in her dorm on a rolley chair, totally consumed in playing her PSP and beating the next level on her new video game.
"Die die die die die..nooo...hahaha missed me! Take that! Now, just got to run behind him.. Hit him in the back.. Answer my MAC.."
"Oh! My MAC..," she said putting the game on pause and sliding over to her MAC that was sitting lamely on her bed. She had recieved a new text, from Matrim. Which read the following.
Hey Reira, if you aren't busy at the moment you should come join me, I'm outside near the edge of the woods on the big hill, not too hard to spot me, I'll be the one with the Blue hair and a picnic basket lying next to him,
Matrim
After she read this..she read it again. Pinic basket? Big hill? For some odd reason, Reira couldn't help but think of Yogi Bear...at that thought she started laughing hysterically. Not to be mean or anything, she was quite flattered that Matrim thought of a pinic, and would love to go. So she sent a text back that said.
Hey Matrim! I'm not busy at all! I'll be right there and I'll make sure to look for your blue hair and your pinic basket, oh and Yogi the Bear. xP
Reira
Grabbing a simple sweater, turning off her game and putting on her usual converse, she walked outside, knowing exactly where he was. Before long, she was waving at him. "Hey there!," she said with a smile.

"Ok.... got that set up..... and this....." Matrim was having some difficulty opening the picnic basket without completely destroying the thing, but he got it open, it was strange. He pulled out he blanket and spread it out. Then his MAC vibrated.
Hey Matrim! I'm not busy at all! I'll be right there and I'll make sure to look for your blue hair and your pinic basket, oh and Yogi the Bear. xP
Reira
"Yeah, Picnics, thanks old man....." Matrim then scratched the back of his head. He was wearing Jeans and a button up white shirt, completely unbuttoned, his bare chest showed a few bruises, mostly his chest and his collar bone from a fight with Luyu Kodiak. He planned on talking to Reira about his plans. He had big plans, and he knew she should be a part of them. He wanted her to go with him, knowing just how hard it would be on the two of them.
"Hey there!" Reira said waving to him, he held his hand and smiled. His left hand however was in his pocket, he was standing in front of the picnic area.
"Hey boo-boo, I got us another pic-a-nic basket!" Matrim said, doing his best impersonation of the old cartoon his dad had showed him. He was near spot on surprisingly, and he congratulated himself mentally on his feat. "Yeah.... spur of the moment idea, but I figured I wanted to lie in grass, eat, and be with you, and this seemed like a good combination of those three."

"Hey boo-boo, I got us another pic-a-nic basket!"
Reira just stared at him for a split second. It came as a small mutter at first, then a small cough..and then she just couldn't hold back her fit of laughter anymore. She didn't actually think he'd play along with her randomness, it was very amusing.
"Im sorry! It was just too cute..and too funny," she said flopping down beside him, laughter fit over. "So what's in the pic-a-nic basket?" Reira glanced into the basket and was impressed by its contents. The marshmellows were a plus. She grew a new affinity towards them.
"Yeah.... spur of the moment idea, but I figured I wanted to lie in grass, eat, and be with you, and this seemed like a good combination of those three." She shook her head at his comment. "I like it. Spur of the moment kind of stuff makes like more interesting. Thanks a lot for this," she said smiling at him.
This would be the first time they would spend some quality time together. All the other times they had hung out was under depressing moods and startling revelations. To make matters worse, the two of them were quite busy and Reira never really felt like a couple, until now that is.
The heat of the sun felt good on her skin, and she happened to notice how handsome her boyfriend looked today, espcially with his shirt unbuttoned...wait bruises?!
"How did you get those bruises on your ribs?" she said eyeing them. Even going so far as lifting his shirt out of the way to see better.

Matrim smiled that she laughed at that joke, and even smiled more when she thanked him.
"I like it. Spur of the moment kind of stuff makes like more interesting. Thanks a lot for this."
"Welcome," He replied, having taken out a marshmellow and eaten it.
"How did you get those bruises on your ribs?" Reira asked, pulling his shirt away to get a better look.
"I uhh, got into a rough sparring match. Long story short Dr. Kodiak the music teacher has a hell of a singing voice, sent me flying to the roof of the gymnasium's weight room.... and then I fell to the ground.... turns out a strong enough Qi can shatter my shield, and when that happens. Well, it doesn't necessarily feel too good." Matrim said almost in embarrassment that he lost to a teacher. He wondered if she worried about that sort of thing, considering he fought a lot of people. In fact, he got roughed up from time to time, which was amazing considering his shield which protected him from most harm.

"Oh I see," was her simple answer.
She couldn't get mad at him for fighting. That was just who he was. Asking him to stop would probably be like asking him to change and she didn't want that. She believed that everyone had the right to choose their choices in life, knowing the consequences or not.
"Just try not to get too roughened up. I'd rather not see the results," she said with a small chuckle. Just beccause she didn't care if he fought, didn't mean she didn't care about him getting hurt. Of course she would care about that! But he has a great defensive Qi..so I'll try not to worry too much.
Sighing, she used her sweater as a pillow and lied down, staring contently at the fluffly clouds in the sky. One her way down, she manged to grab a marshmellow, but had yet to take a bite. The wind slightly swayed her pink hair. She was beginning to miss her natural hair colour, but pink was just Reira.
"On days like this, it's almost easy to pretend that your not at a prison school." She popped the marshmellow in her mouth and ate it. She then locked his gaze. "Was there something specific you wanted to talk to me about? Or am I just that awesome to hang out with," she said jokingly.
She, of course, was fine with just spending time with him. There didn't have to be a reason to be with a person you cared about.

"On days like this, it's almost easy to pretend that your not at a prison school."
Yeah... I wish we weren't here.......
"Was there something specific you wanted to talk to me about? Or am I just that awesome to hang out with."
"There might be a few things I wanted to talk to you about, but mostly it's the awesome thing. Roughly 95% awesome, 5% having something to talk about," He said, laying down on his side, looking over at her. He had plans, and he was going to share those plans with Reira. He grabbed a marshmellow and took a bite out of it, then finished it off, "I want out of here...."
And I want you to come with me, Reira.......
"...and I want you to come with me." He finished after getting the courage to say it. He didn't know why it was so hard for him to ask, but he figured it was the whole idea of breaking out of prison that might seem a little off. Most normal people wouldn't go for it. Most normal people wouldn't be here in the first place though.
"I want to take you to England to see the sites and do all the touristy stuff, I want to track down your mother so you can get out whatever pent up emotions you have about her, I want to go to America and track down the school our parents went to. I want to be free, Reira...... but more then that, I want to be free, with you."

She smiled at his remark with the percentages. 95% awesome and 5% something to talk about. Reira propped herself up on one elbow and turned to face him, a certain curiosity in her eyes. She liked it when he had something to talk to her about, it meant that he was opening up to her and she wanted to be able to tell him everything.
"I want out of here...." "So do I, but thats impo.. "...and I want you to come with me."
Reira blinked in slight confusion. He was being serious. The thought of escaping this place was joyous, but it certainly couldn't become reality. There was just too many gaurds, cameras, and tight security. She continued to hold eye contact with him, allowing him to finish what he was going to say.
"I want to take you to England to see the sites and do all the touristy stuff, I want to track down your mother so you can get out whatever pent up emotions you have about her, I want to go to America and track down the school our parents went to. I want to be free, Reira...... but more then that, I want to be free, with you."
What he said to her tore at her heart. To think he would do all that, just for her...to go through all that trouble for her...to be free, together. It was a surge of emotion she had never felt before, an overwhelming happiness. Was it love? Did she love him?
"I'd run away with you," she said very quietly. Then without thinking, she leaned in close and gave him a small quick kiss on the lips. "If meant that we could be free together, then I'd follow you anywhere." She broke eye contact then, realizing what she had done and blushed. She knew then, that she did love him.

Matrim blinked. Numbers were flashing in his head, percentages and calculations of an anomaly which was unforeseen by him or any other person on the planet. His mind wandered and his thoughts left all concentration and for a split second time stopped just as her lips touched his.
98.7% chance this is a dream, 96.3% chance this is a hallucination, 87% chance that she's blind and has mistaken me for a young version of Brad Pitt, chances that this is really happening? 0.007%.
I like those odds.
"wha....."
"I'd run away with you, If meant that we could be free together, then I'd follow you anywhere."
Justin Green could open the front doors, Aternity Awren could possibly get us through a portal... maybe.... we could possibly Hijack the TARDIS, no that's not possible, we wouldn't know how to use it. We could get Alex to pull some strings, we could create a diversion possibly, I could beg and plead with Matrim Aldon to let us out of here... what.... what could I do...... I have to try everything......
"You know, this shield I have, I think it's completely useless against you..." He said, he leaned in for a kiss, he was pressing his luck, but he figured since it might be a dream or hallucination to make the most out of it. Of course, in his heart, he knew it was real. And because of that, just for a moment, he found true peace and happiness on that picnic basket. Matrim didn't know what love was really, he'd been on his own through most of his teenage years, but he had never cared for anyone the same way he did for Reira at this moment.
Alex..... you promised to help me...... I just hope you make good on that.

Reira smiled in amusement. After she had kissed him, it seemed he just froze for a second. Honestly, it was just a kiss, but his reaction was cute. If anything, she shouldn't be laughing at him right now. She hated to think how she would react if he planted a surprise kiss on her.Grinning, she waved a hand infront of his face and called out his name.
"Earth to Matrim?" "Wha....."
She titled her head to the side and laughed..happy to finally see that his voice was still there. "You know, this shield I have, I think it's completely useless against you..." Reira raised an eyebrow, leaning in closer to him, as he was doing to her. "Really now? I just might have to test that theory." The gap between them was quickly closed, as their lips touched for the second time that day. She pulled away, stared into his eyes, was going in for another kiss...and then placed a hand over his lips, preventing a third.
Now it was her turn to flutter about and freeze. She had never really kissed a boy before and the thought of deepening a simple kiss was nervewracking and she didn't think she was ready for it. Not yet at least. No need to rush right?
"My kisses are expensive!," she said grinning, playfully punching him in the arm. "I already gave you two free ones." She let the arm that was supporting her collapse so that she was once again lieing down staring up at the clouds. The soft clouds, that could float across the ugly concrete wall surrounding the school.
To think that maybe one day her and Matrim could travel beyond that wall, made her smile.

Matrim sat looking up, "Heh, alright."
You're paying for your next marshmellow missy.
Matrim went onto his back lying next to her. He reached over and grabbed a marshmellow, he tossed it into the air and caught it with his mouth. It was amazing that he successfully did this on his first attempt. He just hoped he wasn't expected to do it a second time. He looked up at the clouds, and thought about where his life had led him so far.
"I wonder what it's like to have a complete normal life. I'm guessing it feels nice though....."

Reira raised an eyebrow in amusment when he flung a marshmellow up in the air and caught it in his mouth. She always tried to do that, with various foods, such as M&Ms and Jube Jubes. No matter how many times she tried, she never got it. At least she was a special person who could raise one eyebrow!
"I wonder what it's like to have a complete normal life. I'm guessing it feels nice though....."
No response came from her for a few seconds. What was a normal life anyway? If a child was raised to believe killing people was the only way to get into heaven, wouldn't that be considered 'normal' for him, when others would obviously think it was absurd. That was a good question...what was normal?
"It probably would be nice. But to be honest, I think my life is a little bit better then before I came here. Of course, the whole concrete wall thing sucks, but since I've been here, I've really smartened up...and met a few memorable people along the way," she said with a grin.
"Speaking of concrete walls. How do you plan on escaping? You can't really climb its smooth surface, and digging would be a complete waste of time."
Maybe someones Qi could get us out of here. But who would have a Qi that was capable of that? And wouldn't the teachers be all over a kid who had a Qi that would allow the beholder to escape?

"I have hundreds of plans and strategies for getting out of here, I've been thinking of how to get here since the second the judge banged the gavel. Each one has it's flaws, each one is dangerous, people get hurt, in some of them most likely somebody would be worse then hurt... the fact is that I haven't been giving much thought to safety of others until recently. But I have better connections, we, have better connections," He said correcting himself, since he considered them almost like one unit. He wanted her to know everything, and yet for the most part she did.
"Alex Hikari is a friend of mine, he actually said he'd help before I asked. His father was the principle of this school until he was killed. I'm sure I can get Justin Green to help us, he could probably open the front doors for us. The problem isn't going to be getting out though..... it's going to be what we do after we get out of here."
He turned onto his side facing her again, "I have a lot of money by now. My father was a musician, same as my grandfather, royalty checks keep coming and going in the bank account even if I'm in jail. I'm sure there is plenty of money now, enough to get us out of this country unnoticed. We'll have to find your mother though, and fast."
Alex...... how are we going to do this..... we have money and we have power, but is it enough?

She listened to his words carefully. Their shoulders were pressed together and she could feel the hard muscle of his arm against her own, delicate one. She felt like a soap bubble compared to him. One wrong move and he could crush her. That's how big of difference in strength they were. Would she really be able to help escape from this place? He said people would probably get hurt. Would it be because they were going to be watching out for someone like her? In any case, she would have to learn how to stand her own ground.
"Alex is a friend of mine also. He helped me out once, when I was in a form of trouble. My friend Riley could probably help also. He's a spirit. The places where he could be are limitless..he could be a good scout. I'm not going to force him to do anything though."
Then came another good question. What to do when they got out of here? That was the real challenge. When they broke out, people would be searching for them. It would be a life on the run. An endless run. She would become more like her mother, then she ever thought was possible.
"I have a lot of money by now. My father was a musician, same as my grandfather, royalty checks keep coming and going in the bank account even if I'm in jail. I'm sure there is plenty of money now, enough to get us out of this country unnoticed. We'll have to find your mother though, and fast."
"Your very generous to be doing this. As for my mother...to see her face again just once, would be enough for me. It would be all the confirmation I need to know that she is alrigt and breathing. The last thing I want, is to have her as a gaurdian spirit."
It would take a lot of planning, organization, loyalty, and trust to pull this off. Somehow, she knew they could do it.

"Generous? I think I'm just not used to having money and not spending it. I drained all the accounts these past five years training. It's the only reason someone as thickheaded as me is able to use Qi. Otherwise I'd be just some punk with an attitude problem like I've always been. I guess I'm just grateful. Grateful that I have a purpose."
Wow.... way to go all existential......
"I mean, it's good to actually know what I'm doing and all, ya know?" He said, grabbing her hand with his own, there arms had been against each other and he just had the random sudden urge to hold her hand.
Hey.... it's like that old beatles song, 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'....... huh..... dad would be proud I referenced the Beatles.... they're ancient.....
"It'll take a lot of people to do this, but once we start this, once whatever plan we can cook up with goes into effect, you have to promise me one thing."
Matrim turned towards her, a serious look on his face, "No matter what happens, you get out of here. Because if your safe, if you make it out of here, they can never hurt me."
