Having finished with classes for the day, the last one being art, Matrim decided to go outside. He was supposed to meet that kid out there anyway. He found a bench near where he and Darian fought and sat down, put his feet up on the nearby fountain and rested until the kid decided, if the kid decided, to show up.
A technopath in the TARDIS with an intent to tear down this school..... is that really worth it? I want to get out of here, that's for sure. I'd hate to screw the Doc over, but maybe they could give it back when they were done. All this assuming that Justin would go with his plan. Of course, that would come later. Today was about the gang, and the gang alone.
He took his medicine and put his elbows up on the back rest of the bench. Waiting for the kid to show.

Justin smiled as he walked up to the kid who handed him a note earlier, in one hand was the note he had received and in the crook of his other arm was a map with red dots all over and a list of schematics for a very powerful turret. He walked up and without thinking held out his hand which was covered in a grease stained glove and accidentally dropped the map and schematics.
He bowed apologetically before his hand could be taken and then grabbed the blueprints apologizing again and again before he set them down on the table, he was rather timid and weak so everything he did was cautious and calculated.

"Heh.... You almost remind me of him..." Matrim shook his head, "Nevermind that. Justin, I brought you here to ask you something."
Yes... this kid would be a great fit to the team, and to my plan. Just have to convince him that he'd also be getting some good out of this. After all, he will get protected from all of us.
"Call it a gang, call it by it's formal name, but I'm a part of the St. Paragon's Enforcement Squad. Group of really good strong kids with control over their Qi's. We're mostly about protecting our own, keeping order in the school, and being the overall student authority. If you become a member, I can guarantee your safety. Not saying you can't hold your own, but it's always nice to have friends, right?"
Matrim then went on, "The leader is the son of the late Kane Hikari. His name is Alex, has a powerful Qi ability, has a good head on his shoulder and he leads the whole thing. He's beaten me in a fight and that's saying a lot. So what do you say? I know theres more to the whole convincing people part of this group, but I seem to have misplaced our brochures."
The joke was one he came up with on the spot, and he gave himself kudos for coming up with it.

Alex made his way into the school grounds, his classes finished for the day. His notebook in his hand, his bag slung over his shoulder. As he made his way past a group of student,s he saw two students in the distance, one he recognized as..." Matrim..." he thought, as he he got closer, he saw Matrim was talking to a guy who was covered in grease. " If isn't Matrim." he said once he got close enough. He noticed there were schematics and a map in the guy's hand. " Recruiting are we?" he asked, as he stopped and heard what Matrim was saying.

Yep, he was recruiting all right, not that Alex minded, the gang could always use another member. " Hello." he said addressing the other guy, " I'm Alex, and you are?" If the guy was to become a member, Alex would have to know his name, he was the gang leader after all. He would shake the guy's hand, except his hand was holding his notebook, the guy's hand wasn't exactly clean, it was covered in grease. Alex ignored that fact, and just settled for polite conversation.

Justin listened to Matrim and then another kid… one Kane spoke of …walked up… but he couldn’t remember the kids name. but then he introduced himself. Justin smiled and held out his left hand saying “The name’s Justin, substitute shop teacher… or at least I was… oh well, I guess I need to prove I am useful to this little gang if I am to join?” he had skipped all formalities of thinking and all of that and merely went with the fact that these people would probably protect him.
He then walked over, not waiting to hear a response, to the center of the courtyard where no one was standing anymore and he knelt down and touched his hands softly to the earth below. Referencing his position to the map in front of him he smiled and let his Qi flow. Knowing there would rather quickly be a consequence he moved fast and brought the nearest turret to life. The barrels spun round and round as it rose out of the ground and prepared to fire in the ground in front of him, it unloaded rounds rapidly into the ground moving quickly across to spell out his name in the ground(rather inaccurately) afterwards he quickly put the turret away and stood up with a smile on his face, hoping to end everything before he got hit.

HOLY SHIT! THIS PLACE HAS F'ING GUN TURRETS?
Matrim was too busy with Justin to greet Alex, and Justin seemed to have found a gun turret hidden in the school. Matrim watched in horror then looked around to see if anybody was watching. He then turned to Alex, pointing at what just happened, "Uhh.... did that really just happen? Those were rubber bullets right.... please tell me those were rubber bullets....."
Alex..... was your dad a nutcase?
"Justin..... that was.... interesting to say the least...." Matrim said scratching the back of his head. He wondered just what kind of prison this was. He began to try and calculate his possibilities of getting out of this place alive, and with that variable, he had a better chance at becoming the next Iron Man. "So.... I'm sold."
Matrim turned to Alex, "What do you think?"

“The name’s Justin, substitute shop teacher… or at least I was… oh well, I guess I need to prove I am useful to this little gang if I am to join?” Alex nodded at the guy to acknowledge he heard him, it appeared Justin had skipped all formalities and gone straight to the point. " Yes, you will." Alex asnswred, though right after he had said this, he did not expect to see Justin prove himself right at this moment.
He watched as Justin moved over to the center of the courtyard and placed his hands on the ground. At that moment, Alex's eyes flashed, did this guy know where the turret was located!? The answer was yes, as the turret appeared from the ground and began shooting the rounds in it, spelling out a name, rather inaccurately actually.
Alex, all the while this took place, his eyes calmed down and he now looked calm and cool, as if this was a daily occurance. Inside his head however, he was thinking either Justin knew where the turrets were located via his MAC, or he was hiding more than he was letting on. Matrim however, looked like he had seen a ghost. "Uhh.... did that really just happen? Those were rubber bullets right.... please tell me those were rubber bullets....." " Sorry, but no, those weren't rubber bullets, only the Gym teacher uses rubber bullets." Alex replied calmly, his arms folded.
After calming down, Matrim spoke again, this time to Justin. "Justin..... that was.... interesting to say the least....So.... I'm sold. What do you think?" Alex turned to face Matrim, and then turned his attention to Justin. " Welcome to our gang Justin." He dug into his bag and pulled out a bandanna with the gang's emblem on it. " This is proof that you're in our gang, among our ranks, no one will cross you, although if it's a teacher, I can't guarantee they won't hurt you, but other students will think twice before crossing you." he said, holding out the bandanna for Justin to take.

“Thanks” Said Justin as he took the bandana and tied it over his rolled up sleeve to make sure it stayed up there. And with that he felt as if he had a duty to commit to so he reached down and grabbed the chart covered in red dots and the schematics for the turret and handed them over to Alex saying “Being the heir to Hikari industries, and the rightful owner of that little thing, you should have this…” with that he would turn around and start to walk away, he didn’t see a point in staying.
If he stayed he would probably get in trouble, and if he didn’t, then it would only be a matter of time before he was caught… either way he was in trouble and no one could help him out of it.

“Thanks.” Alex nodded at Justin, as he saw him tie the bandanna on his arm, over his rolled up sleeve. Justin then reached down and grabbed the chart covered in red dots and the schematics for the turret and handed them to Alex. “Being the heir to Hikari industries, and the rightful owner of that little thing, you should have this…”
Alex looked down at the chart and the schematics, okay then. He rolled them both up, and saw Justin had already left, so it was his cue to leave too, and with a nod at Matrim, walked away, putting the papers in his bag. His business done here, Alex saw no reason to stay around, he had only drifted over because he had seen Matrim. And besides, with the turrets activated, well, Alex didn't want to stick around and see what happened.
