A rage beyond wrath(fight against GlaDOs)

[Justice]

His blood ran ice cold as he stood out on the runway. Luyu’s words fell dead on his ears and he stood, now silent. He screamed out a personalities name, to all around who heard it in the vastness of desert, they would hear “JUSTIN!” suddenly space warped and a man popped out of it. He grabbed a fist full of Kane’s shirt, one fist full of Luyu’s shirt, not caring what part of the body he happened to grab while he was at it. He then glared to Haru who understood the command and grabbed the mans shoulder. Suddenly they were all yanked through space, the three personalities, the machine, and the woman.

They appeared in the middle of what had been a battle field, with the TARDIS close on their tails. It appeared and had a note on it with coordinates and a request for backup. Myou and Akuma quickly showed up and latched onto Justin too for the ride. Quickly they appeared where Doc was and prepared for a fight.

The machine had noticed their arrival and fired a shell. Thinking quickly Justin went on another jump but Haru had already let go and been hit. His scream of pain echoed through the landscape as he faded from existence. The group was let down and Kane along with his two originals separated from the group. Luyu would have to fend for herself for now and Justin would be playing distraction on the machine.

[The Doctor]

The Doctor saw them arrive, they arrived much earlier then he expected. His battle plan was in his head, so he started. He injected himself with the pink goo, he had analyzed it with the TARDIS and could possibly create more if he had to, but it would be too difficult to do in time.

Time... funny, that was something the Doctor would normally have a lot of. Now, he wasn't so sure. He charged, he charged as rounds were being shot by the machine, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.."

He was talking to everyone, himself, the personalities being destroyed, the decimated guardians, Luyu who now found herself in the middle of a battlefield with only two allies, and the TARDIS.

"The TARDIS?" The Doctor saw it there, it was out of distance to shield him, but it was still there, good as ever.

No, there's nothing it can do now. I have to become the soldier I once was.... I brought this on myself, agreeing to help kane, this thing is not a species, it's a machine, thats all. Just a machine.

The Doctor kept telling himself that as he charged the monstrosity, flashing in and out of existence with his Qi, keeping enough reserve for either a level 4 or level 5 security protocol. The TARDIS was close, but in order to use his Security Protocol's Qi free, he'd have to be inside using the controls.

"THERE WE ARE!" The Doctor said, he pulled out his screwdriver, planning to fade in and out to dodge attacks praying that none made much contact, when he was physical he would be attempting to get a read out on this thing. Every bit of information it had in it would now be the Doctor's, every defense it had would show it's weakness, ever bit of important wiring would be fried as long as the Doctor could dodge the shells.

He had back up plans, he could save them all in a worst case Scenario, but that would mean leaving the TARDIS to fend for itself.

Following Kane onto the landing strip, he screamed a name, Justin. She thought he was mourning until a man appeared. He grabbed a fistful of Kane's shirt, followed by a fistful of her own at her shoulder. Haru then put his hand on the man's shoulder and the group of them suddenly appeared elsewhere. Luyu's senses were thrown off, she was suddenly in a battlefield, surrounded by blasted waste.

Looking around, she saw the Doctor just before they were swept off somewhere else. Haru, it seemed, had not held onto Justin and had been blasted. The woman didn't know what to do. A giant machine was shooting at them, which she assumed to be GlaDOs. The woman's brow set. This was the thing that had caused her Kane so much pain.

Debris flew at her, and Luyu opened her mouth. The ground below her began to shake, cracking in a straight line towards the machine. Below it, the ground cracked and rumbled, shaking and collapsing in on itself. Luyu moved quickly and kept her mouth open.

OOC: thx for the reason for GlaDOs to attack ya Luyu!

IC: Kane stood before the great thinking machine with Akuma on his right and Myou on his left. His blood seemed to boil with all the rage that was built up and it would only get worse and worse from here on out.

The towering machine stood tall amongst the ants that attacked it. GlaDOs wondered exactly what each one was doing… one was teleporting all around her, one was charging straight at her, one was destroying the ground in a futile attempt to disable her, and three were just standing there with their weapons raised, and such pitiful weapons they were. It was truly pathetic to be attacking her with swords of all things, these men had been the ones that found her, the ones that ‘rescued’ her, they should know that no blade could cut her armor.

The cannons shifted on her massive form, three of them targeting the one that was the biggest threat right now, the bitch with a sonic Qi. The cannons took aim and the charge was almost complete. She loaded a class 5 artillery type shell into the cannon and waited. The charge completed and she smirked her evil smirk in that dark core of the machine. What no one knew was what she was, truly a little girl within a machine, mentally and physically linked, looking about the age of a three year old earthling… oh well no one would know now… and the cannons released their shells at the poor woman, and such a beautiful one too, sad such beauty had to be demolished.

The cannons turned and aimed at Luyu, he could feel his heart beat slow down as he watched everything unravel in a matter of seconds. Tearing off in full force he slammed into the machine and dislocated his shoulder. He should have thought before he acted, of course he couldn’t move the guns by attacking the damned thing, it was four times larger than him!

His heart skipped a beat as the cannons fired, and the rounds went off at high speed. He screamed in rage as time slowed down around him and a quantum burst was released. The energy seemed to halt all time as he tore off again at full speed to step in front of Luyu. He spread out his form in front of her to take the full on assault to his back and protect her. Eyes opening wide he felt pain ripple through his body as a shell impacted with his back and then suddenly the pain subsided and another shell impacted. Gritting his teeth against the pain of it he took a third shell and collapsed having protected her from all the shells in the small volley. Falling to his knees he breathed heavily as his very form started to dissipate and he was gone.

Kane’s anger suddenly reached its highest peak and he snapped. His blood seemed to boil as his howling rage shifted the area around them. GlaDOs’ form shifted from the heat and Qi mix rising from the ground. His secondary Qi power had become fully active and his sword glowed a eerie green. He glared in the beasts direction as his wings started to change into a more hawk like form and a mask built over his face and armor created itself on his body. His muscle tone changed and his clothes too, almost everything about him changed except who he was.

Akuma and Myou followed in the same fashion, altering their image and very beings except who they were. Myou’s change was unnoticed except that he suddenly had a dark robe over his body that hid all parts of him. Akuma’s was more drastic though, he went from a human looking swordsman to a demonic beast resembling Lucifer from bible stories.

[The Doctor]

The Doctor got to the machine as it attacked Luyu, the time it took to attack would be it's fatal mistake. The Doctor took this time to scan,

"Not completely machine eh, there's a someone in this something and it's..... damn close to human in appearance.... and I don't know what from out here...." He said to himself, scanning further for programming, wiring, everything that made this thing what it was. He didn't have a chance to scan that 'brother' so he took his time with the sister, until he found what he was looking for.

"Defense systems." The Doctor attempted to take down any of them, any type of shielding, anything technological, he'd worry about weapons on his next run, but he knew he'd probably get shot at soon, so he used his first Qi going non-corporeal to regroup.

The Doctor then got ready, the second the focus of the machine was on someone else he would strike with his sword to see if it would do any good, it was an alien sword afterall, it could cut through Cybermen, it should by all means cut through this. Unless the Doctor failed at taking out any defense system it may have.

Her plan was working. She was distracting GlaDOs as best she could so that Kane could do what needed to be done with his personalities. The only problem was that the machine seemed able to find new footing the moment that the ground beneath it started to crumble. It was fast.

It seemed to focus on her, realizing that she was the source of the crumbling earth. Readying herself for whatever it could throw at her, Luyu decided that she would hurl as big a sonic blast as she could, then crumble the ground beneath her with the same sonic waves in an attempt to protect herself from the blast as best she could. Things don't always turn out as planned, though.

As the machine's cannons turned towards her and began to fire, one of the personalities appeared in front of her. Justin was his name. Luyu's mouth snapped shut to keep form harming him, and so the earthquakes stopped. Spreading himself out in front of her, Luyu stared in shock as he took blast after blast, protecting her. Tears formed in the woman's eyes, for she knew that he had protected her to indirectly protect Kane. She clenched her fists as he dissapeared. Looking up at GlaDOs, Luyu felt true reason to help in its' demise.

Looking around for a brief moment, Luyu saw the Doctor using some sort of technology. She cursed to herself, she didn't want to risk a technology scrambling sound then, for it could ruin whatever he was doing. Looking to Kane, she saw the rage on his face. Her eyes widened at the change that he and his two personalities took. Shaking herself out of it, the woman decided she had to do something or move. She could no longer sacrifice herself so quickly. She didn't want to make Justin's loss pointless.

Looking down, she opened her mouth and the ground beneath her seemed to dissipate as dust flew up around her. Before it cut off her eyesight, though, she lifted her face towards the machine. A short sonic blast was sent towards the thing, followed by two more. The second followed by three seconds the third following the second by one second. Hopefully it would do something, she thought, as she fell into the crater she had made.

[Justice]

The cannons prepared to fire again and Kane smirked, this time they were aimed at two targets. His started to swing the chain around faster and faster and finally let go. The ball spun around the barrel of the cannon and latched onto itself. He pulled with all his might turning the cannon away from Luyu and caused it to fire at the mountains in the distance. From here you could see a large patch of trees whither and die from the ferocity of the attack. He didn’t bother to save the doctor seeing him able to protect himself. The energy of his weapon focused around and his wrath form swung the blade making a small cut in the outer plating. He sent in Akuma and Myou to attack and cut in as much damage as possible to weaken the armor plating as much as possible.

While anyone attacked, Kane would sit there and use both sides of his chain weapon to move the cannons off course with all his might, which was draining fast.

[The Doctor]

The Doctor had some Qi reserve left, he saw what the personalities were doing, and he knew he couldn't use his last Qi power with them inside. He could use his fourth, or his......

"Wait a second! That's it! Prepare to meet your match machine!" The Doctor put away his sonic screwdriver, he threw down his sword into the ground where it would dissolve out of time and space, "Security Protocol 3 engage."

The TARDIS roared to life from the distance, and the Sonic Blaster was now in the Doctor's hands, able to take entire walls out of existence and replace then later. The Doctor took out a section of armor and jumped in, it was also a sonic device like his screwdriver, so naturally he started pulling apart wires and shorting electrical systems, hacking software and disabling any and all defense systems.

"I have her defenses down Kane, but I don't have near the firepower to destory it." The Doctor yelled out, "Now would be a great time for some of that human arrogance, you know, bombs and such, anything?"

Luyu's mind raced. She felt so helpless, unsure of what to do. The woman climbed out of the crater she had made once realizing that the machine was no longer giving her all of its attention. Staying low, she moved a bit closer.

Snapping back to attention, she heard the tail end of what the Doctor had said. Running as fast as she could, the woman came up beside him. Opening her mouth, she pointed her face directly at the hole in the machine.

Lips spread, a sound came out the was such high pitch and velocity that the waves were far past those needed to shatter glass and could easily interfere with any sort of message that was being send to GlaDOs' limbs if she hit the right spot.

[Justice]

Kane opened up a link between his cell phone and the tower sanctum, straight to the AI core room. He pressed it against his ear and quickly attached his MAC to GlaDOs. Before Solaris had the chance to pick up though he quickly shouted orders to everyone that they should retreat to near the TARDIS(he called it the doctors machine) so that the oncoming attack wouldn’t decimate them all.

As Solaris would pick up Kane would give him permission to do what ever he wish to GlaDOs after attaining the knowledge that if GlaDOs lived, him and Lunari would be demolished by her. And after he was done toying with her system he would have to release a shot from the ion cannon on GlaDOs’ location, powerful enough to sterilize the whole area.

OOC: ok, everyone post getting to Doc’s little machine and then the fireworks begin!

[The Doctor]

The Doctor got the message, "EVERYONE TO THE TARDIS!" He added just to clarify he heard, and to yell it from where he was in case anyone missed it, he ran and ran towards the machine reaching into his pocket for a key.

He reached into his other pocket for the key.

He reached into his pants pocket for his key.

He found nothing, and the TARDIS was now in front of him, he had stopped in front of it and put his head on the door.

"I left it inside..... when I abandoned the machine.... I left it inside....." The Doctor hadn't done anything like that before. Of course, this was also why he had a companion with a key of their own.

"EVERYBODY! CLOSE YOUR EYES NOW! KEEP THEM CLOSED!" The Doctor had enough Qi to do this. Didn't know how long, but he had enough time and that's all that mattered. The ship was protected, but it's shields weren't active, he could tell from where he was, you always had the feeling of walking through water just as you entered the shield, "Security Protocol 4... engage...."

An angel was now loose in this world. It was there, the Doctor knew it. One by one everybody would be sent to the directions he gave the angel, 10 minutes prior to now, in his History classroom. "EVERYBODY STAY IN THE CLASSROOM FOR HALF AN HOUR TO BE SAFE OK?!?"

He yelled it out knowing at least one was already sent back, "Keep your eyes closed!"

The Doctor then had a horrible thought, "Wait.... what if I left it......"

He turned and looked seeing the angel, it was frozen just in front of him, he released his qi, making the angel disapear again, this time it was actually gone. He ran towards GlaDOs knowing he might have dropped the key there, he ran and ran and then he realized it wouldn't matter. By now Solaris would be dropping down all heaven on the very spot he was at.

"Well..... I could always try......." He said looking up to see if some sign of death was approaching, "Security Protocol 1, engage on self..... hold out until Qi reserve is completely drained..... "

The Doctor was now non-corporeal, he hoped it would last, because otherwise, this one, out of all his regenerations, would probably hurt the worst. "Well," He said very slowly in his non-corporeal form, "At least I have a good view...."

[Justice]

Kane retreated to the Doctor's machine which he referred to as the TARDIS. Kane watched and wanted to punch the Doctor in the nose for what he just said, and then he did something strange, a Qi power he hadn't seen, the Doctor said it'd save everyone and you had to keep your eyes shut, Kane looked down at the ground keeping his eyes open, hoping that would make sure Luyu got out of there first. Finally he closed his eyes, he felt someone running past him and thought nothing of it until he opened his eyes and found himself in the exact same spot.

"What...." He turned and saw the Doc running towards GlaDOs, "You idiot you'll die!" He ran towards the Doc, he was faster then him, but when he got there the Doc was a ghost, standing next to GlaDOs. The Doctor turned and saw him after speaking to himself, and the Doctor said to him "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" in an eerie ghost like voice. Kane looked up to the sky, knowing at least Luyu was safe, and this bitch was going down with him.

"Doc, protect Luyu... make sure she's alright. Tell my children I love them, my wills in my nighstand drawer. Protect them, Ok Doc?"

He didn't know it then, but he wouldn't hear an answer. He looked into the sky to see Solaris' work starting

The best of the guardians, having been reassured of Luyu's safety, raised his blade high roaring to the heavens "FOR THE GUARDIANS!" and charged forth to the end of his final battle...

Solaris' eyes were wide open in astonishment. He'd only fired this cannon once, during wartime, and it was clear the destruction it could cause. The megaton rating wasn't of much use, instead of determining actual blast power, it usually truly meant the equivilent blast radius at the point of impact. At this yield, anything within a mile would be completely vaporized, and ionization damage would occur up to 5 miles, which was non-lethal, but was annoying to electrical systems. Oh well...what he said went...time to blow SOMETHING up.

The cannon was perfectly aligned to the MAC that was thrown on GLaDOs, in sync, the secondary emitters lit up, shining 7 beams down in a circle around the target. They started to spin, carving and cutting up ground, ionizing the target. As they converged, they did small amounts of damage to GLaDOs. They were now one cohesive beam, which soon stopped.

A miasma of sorts, like you'd see in a desert was left, rocks were floating all around now as gravity and air was stripped from the area. A glowing blue ball was at its center, which would be there for only 3 more seconds.

Finally, the primary cannon onlined.

A massive blue-violet beam shot down from the glowing satellite in the sky, impacting the ball underneath GLaDOs, smashing a hole through the machine, and creating a massive explosion on impact, equivilent to a 1.8 Megaton nuclear device. GLaDOs...was dead. But something else was dead too, that Solaris didn't yet know about.

[The Doctor]

The blue cylinders came down and the Doctor knew Kane was going to die.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...."

They circled the target while closing in, and just as they met up over GlaDOs an explosion occured, taking everything with it, except for the TARDIS, the key which was inside GlaDOs, and the Doctor himself. He had only enough Qi for one person, he would have gladly saved Kane but he didn't notice Kane hadn't been sent back, if he let the qi go he wouldn't have enough to communicate with the TARDIS for any of his protocol's.

"NOOOOOO!" The Doctor said smashing the ground repetitively, "It's my fault..... It's my own damned fault for such a silly stupid mistake!"

He stood there and weeped for what he had done, taking a few seconds before grabbing the TARDIS key and making his way back to the TARDIS. He couldn't go to the history class room. Not yet, he had to go to Kane's home to inform his children, grab his will, and move on.

He entered the TARDIS, feeling a jolt of pain as he entered the key into the door, "So simple.... and I couldn't do it earlier...... no, now's not the time." The Doctor set the TARDIS to go to Kane's room, once the TARDIS arrived he grabbed his MAC and walked out into Kane's room........
