Ghost Hunters (Reira)

[Reira]

"You think he's a man...wow I can tell this could get interesting, but that's okay, interesting is always welcome in my books," she said with a grin and allowed him to drag her into the direction he stated.

It was nice the way her hand fit in his. She wasn't used to having a guy like her like this, because honestly she never thought about even the possibility of going out on a date with a boy. And just like that she agreed to it.

Does that mean he is my boyfriend? Or are we just going out on a date? Uhhh I'm so pathetic when it comes to things like this...whatever the case I'm up for it? I think he is my boyfriend now...wow I have a boyfriend..that is so very weird.

A faint blush crept on her face and she was very thankful she was walking behind him now. It would take some getting used to, but she knew it would be worth it.

Now if I could only get my heart to stop fluttering at the mere thought of him...right think of England, and what clue my mother could have left there. Yeah..not working.

"I hope the Doc will help us..."

[Matrim]

The Doctor was outside for some reason, he was outside and seemed to be fiddling with what looked like a MAC. Actually it was more like the frankenstein version of a MAC with all sorts of exposed wiring and an added green light of some sort.

"Yeah, that's him there!" He pointed, "I don't know what it will take to convince him, but hopefully he will agree to take us."

I'm.... holding a girls hand..... I will not squeel in excitement, I will not squeel in excitement, i will keep perfect control over my facial expressions.....

Matrim was attempting to keep the excitement down, but he was a little more talkative, and in a very happy mood.

She said he's in heaven now... that's a good thing.

"Doctor!" Matrim yelled out waving his free hand and slowing down a bit, "Hey Doctor, I need to ask you something."

[The Doctor]

The Doctor was testing kinks out on his Sonic MAC 2.0. It was coming along pretty well, he was able to take walls down, but when he brought them back they appeared in random places, never quite where he wanted them to. He saw two kids approaching in the distance and decided to get rid of the wall he had in the MAC.

He aimed the MAC away from the kids and pressed the button that would replace the wall back to the side of the building, of course it rematerialized 2 feet away from where it was supposed to. A lot closer then it had been when he tried to put it back earlier.

"Doctor! Hey Doctor, I need to ask you something."

"Huh, what?" The Doctor said, "Ohhh, Matrim... right? What can I help you with?"

The Doctor said feeling a little strange, he didn't talk to his students out of class very often. He didn't really connect with them on a personal level, he was more friendly with teachers, Solaris in particular.

"And who is this? Your friend I assume? I'm the Doctor," The Doctor said, addressing the girl he was with.

[Reira]

When Reira first laid eyes on the man called The Doctor he was fiddling with a very strange looking object. The way in which he did so, made her want to laugh, but out of respect and a good first impression, she stopped herself from laughing.

Once they were close enough, she waved as a greeting. "Hello Doctor, I'm Reira, nice to meet you," she said with a smile.

This was Matrim's show, so she just stood by his side to let him handle things. If it was needed, she would help out.

The faster we get out of this school, the better. No matter how happy I am, that Matrim is more then a friend, Luke is in heaven now, and I might just be one more step cloesr to finding my mother, the thought of Jordan...tears all the other feelings apart.

The Doctor had to get them to England, because if he didn't, there would be trouble.

[Matrim]

"Yeah, I was wondering if you could do me a favor," Matrim said, he wondered if the Doctor was easy going with this sort of thing, "I was wondering if you would take us to my father's grave."

He's helped me out once before, in class... Will he help me again? Hopefully. I should tell him more information first...

"You see," He started to say, "Someone... left something there for me, and it would just be nice to see him again... you know?"

Matrim looked up at the Doctor and spoke again not letting him give his answer, "Same time, different place, that's all. One trip, taking us straight back, we never leave your sight, that's all I'm asking for."

[The Doctor]

"Pleasure to meet you Reira," The boy had began to talk nearly interupting the Doctor with a question.

"Yeah, I was wondering if you could do me a favor, I was wondering if you would take us to my father's grave."

The Doctor thought about this, he decided he didn't want to become a transport for all the students all the time whenever they wanted. That would be unfair considering he wouldn't do this.

"No."

"You see, Someone... left something there for me, and it would just be nice to see him again... you know?"

"No."

The Doctor was stern with his decesion.

"Same time, different place, that's all. One trip, taking us straight back, we never leave your sight, that's all I'm asking for."

"No. I'm sorry, I will only show students during class time. Otherwise I'm not being fair to the rest of the students. My machine could solve a lot of problems, it's true, but it creates more problems then it solves. So my answer is no." He turned around and got back to work.

"Have enough problem's as it is trying to find a TA, not to mention I'm busy with my inventions that I'm making to benefit you lot," The Doctor turned his back towards them one more time, "So my answer is no, I'll see you in class."

[Reira]

Reira couldn't believe what she was hearing. All her hopes were shattered to pieces with one single pathetic word. No. But lik ehell it was going to end there, not without her trying to ask him. Matrim was respectful, but Reira planned to do the opposite.

"So that's it then," she said letting go of Matrim's hand, and taking a step closer to The Doctor. "Your just going to leave! I mean come on, it can't be that hard just to take us there and back, with the skills you have. Your not that pathetic, right?"

She stopped approaching him and crossed her arms below her breasts. "Matrim just wants to visit his fathers grave, and like hell this school would let him if he just stood there and acted pretty...and my mother left a clue to her whereabouts at the grave! You know how long it has been since I last saw her!"

Reira stared at him sternly, trying to keep her voice somewhat under control, only letting out the slightest bit of anger.

"Don't you have any compassion. It's not fair my ass, I think we have a good enough reason. You say you are making inventions to benefit us, well believe me Doctor, this would benefit us! With all do respect Docter, please?"

There was always a risk that she would get into trouble from this sudden outburst, but it wasn't like Reira to not try. This was really important, and if this didn't change the Doc's mind, they were screwed.

He's going to hate me after this...

[Matrim]

Matrim watched in what he decided was a mixture of pride, excitement, horror, fear, and glee. This girl sure knew how to convince someone of something. Matrim felt as though with her by his side he could take down the whole entire school, just have her yell at people, and Matt could just take all the blows they send back with his Qi.

Scary.... Note to self: Do Not, I Repeat, DO NOT! Piss her off..... ever......

"Yeah!" Matrim said after the part where she called him pathetic. This was great, of course, this probably meant trouble, but at least they were in it together. Then she went back and ended the whole outburst with the word please. Personally Matt would have ended it differently, but this works too... showing a bit of compassion for the man after giving him the butt chewing of a lifetime.

Matrim looked over to Reira after all this had taken place.

God... I could kiss you for that...

Even if they got a no, Matrim's day had been made by this moment.

[The Doctor]

"So that's it then, Your just going to leave! I mean come on, it can't be that hard just to take us there and back, with the skills you have. Your not that pathetic, right?

"Uhhh...."

"Matrim just wants to visit his fathers grave, and like hell this school would let him if he just stood there and acted pretty...and my mother left a clue to her whereabouts at the grave! You know how long it has been since I last saw her!"

"Well.... the thing is...."

"It's like your martha, donna, and rose all rolled into one! Brilliant!" The Doctor said, "Have you ever considered becoming a TA? Bah, nevermind that can wait."

The Doctor clicked his monstrous machine of a MAC, The TARDIS slowly roared to life, coming into existence behind the Doctor as he faced the two. He turned, opened the door and took a step in, turning back he said, "Well then, are you coming?"

"It's like your martha, donna, and rose all rolled into one! Brilliant!"
"Martha, Donna, and Rose?...Um huh?"
"Have you ever considered becoming a TA? Bah, nevermind that can wait."
"I'd volunteer to be yours if you do this favour for us."

She didn't know what volunteering to be the Doctor's TA would mean, but hey, at least he would get something out of helping them. It's not like she wanted to be so ..bitchy..but desperate times called for bitchy people.

Well at least the Doc isn't mad...I feel really bad..

She watched the Doc, press a few buttons on his MAC and peculiar looking maching rumbled behind him. It reminded Reira of a police or telephone booth. She wasn't sure if they could all fit in there, but it seemed to her that he had agreed to their terms.

"Yay! Thanks alot!," she said giving the Doctor a quick hug. "Oh and sorry for biteing your head off." She then turned to Matrim and smiled again. "Coming?"

[Matrim]

"Coming?"

Matrim had been too distracted and fascinated with what Reira had just done. Because of her they were going to see his father, and possibly find out the whereabouts of her mother.

"Yeah, by the way, don't be shocked when the inside is larger then the outside... it throws off a lot of people."

Matrim walked in, hands in his pockets. He went over by where the control panel was in the center of the room and looked back at Reira. He wondered what she was like past all this, he didn't know a lot about her, he knew her past, but he didn't really know too much about her personality. Just that, somehow, everything felt right. Of course, that was except for one other thing. Stuff she was saying to his father... stuff he barely heard, but knew his father said more then what he did. The man knew how to go on for hours.

"This is... well... it's a time machine. I guess? We get to go on it during history class, he shows us some cool stuff. One of the things was the end of the earth, it was... kinda cool."

What was my father saying, why would he have held on for five years just to mention something that happened not to long ago. It's not like it was dire information, probably just a letter to me saying how sorry she is my father died.

"So Doctor, we on our way then?"

[The Doctor]

"Oh... Brilliant! I might get a TA out of this deal..." The Doctor said as he ran inside, going straight to the controls, Mat came in after him and even stood next to him at one point. The Doctor set the coordinates, he knew where Mat's father was buried, it was information that was easily found in seconds, they would appear at the graveyard on the path leading to the grave.

"So Doctor, we on our way then?"

"Yeeeeessss." He said as he made sure the students were inside. He waited until Reira got inside before he would finally pull the switch and the TARDIS would roar to life, and blink out of existence for the rest of the world.

[Reira]

Reira walked into TARDIS and gaped slightly. The inside was huge! Much bigger then it appeared from the outside. Almost instantly her brain began to confuddle her with questions as to how and why the contraption was like this. I'm seeing a lot of weird things lately..awesome!

"You must have one hell of an interior decorator! I've never seen anything like it! How does it work?," she said to the Doctor, who was at a control looking station.

She took her stand beside Matrim, and watched in wonder at exactly how this machine would take them to England. They were in Japan....England was a long way off.

I wonder what clue my mother left at Luke's grave. It doesn't look like we'll be staying long either. Jordan will still be an issue. What am I going to do? Maybe I should just tell Matrim and try to convince him not to go after him...heh who am I kidding.

Just to be safe, she wanted something to hold onto. For some reason, she pictured a lot of rocking and shaking involved in the process of whatever the machine was going to do. Teleport them? Whatever the case, she didn't want to be shocked and fall on her butt, so seeing nothing else to hold on to, she grabbed onto Matrim's arm.

[The Doctor]

"Time And Relative Dimensions In Space, that spells TARDIS. It's a time machine, it uses a rip in time to travel freely anywhere and anytime it wants. As of late it's been increasingly difficult to pinpoint a certain time, but as long as we stay in the same time frame it is very accurate at where it wants to go." He pulled the lever, pushed the button, and they were off, not very rocky, but it was always a little bumpy now and then. Sometimes something would go wrong, and the longer and further it travelled the tougher the ride, so this had very little turbulence.

"ALRIGHT!" He said as it roared with life travelling through the rift, stopping and settling a few seconds later.

He checked the date and security footage, they were in the right time and place. It was a rainy day, but the rain would clear eventually.

"Well," He said looking at the two, "You asked me to bring you so I brought you. Now go off, I'll wait outside by the TARDIS."

[Matrim]

The TARDIS did it's thing, Reira held onto Matt, matt decided to just ride it out. He could stand his ground pretty well so he decided that this shouldn't be any different. Sure enough he held on fine, and the TARDIS reached it's destination. The Doctor spoke up telling them to go do their thing.

"Sure Doc," Matrim said, Reira was holding his arm now, he brought her arm down and held her hand, leading her out of the TARDIS and towards the gravestone of his father. Just as he walked out it was raining, he thought about activating his Qi, especially with the bare feet he had, it would help keep them dry, but he decided against it.

After a few seconds of walking with him in complete silence, he saw it.

His dates there, and everything seemed normal, except people had been there. Letting go of Reira's hand for a second he bent down, in a plastic covering there was a letter addressed to him, and to the right of that, obviously placed by someone other then Samara because of how recent they were, flowers.

Who would visit my father's grave besides me or Samara? Nobody else living really knew him well enough. Maybe some crazed fan.....

"Here," He said handing the letter to Reira, "I think this will mean more to you then it will to me. Besides, I think you should be the first to know where she is. Read it aloud if you want."

He started looking around to see if anyone else was at the graveyard. These flowers were from today, but the person was probably long gone.
