Ms. L sat back in her chair as she heard the first bell go off. That was the sign for kids to scramble off to class. At least if they were smart. Still Ms. L would hope that someone would try to sneak into her class late. She wanted a challenge.
She had her desk neatly laid out in front of her. Her notebook and pens most importantly her yard stick. Now to simply await the lovely children for her class. "Lets hope they listen to my rules..." She whispered quietly.
As for what this rule was? Silence, that was all she wanted. You would go far if you obeyed that. However there was nothing hinting this was what she wanted. No signs certainly would be no verbal warning. The only way they would know is if they were at the Orientation.
Now however it was time for the start of class so she rose and wrote her name on the chalk board. "Ms. L" Then remained standing to greet her students.

Matrim walked into the door using his MAC, he then looked to the teacher opening his mouth to say good morning, then remembered the mental not he had made at orientation.
Silence is Golden.
He closed his mouth with a smile nodding his head that he was pretty clever to catch that, luckily he hadn't made a single noise. He decided from that point to not only shut up, but be as silent with everything else as possible, so he found a seat, slowly sat in it, slowly set down his bag which was a side bag which he had partially opened. He opened it the rest of the way so that it made very very little noise, pulling out pen and a paper for notes.
Hello my new teacher... my name is Matrim.
Matrim then looked onto the board.
Ms. L eh? Note to self... Ms. not Mrs.... . . . she's out of your league Matrim...
Matrim, as he had done before, hung his head in defeat.

Ms. L laughed quietly and watched her first student sit down. It was kind of funny how this one had remembered. "Let me clarify for you my boy. You are free to speak until the bell rings again. Unless you are extremely annoying in which case I slap you. I do however enjoy an intelligent conversation every now and again."
So far this new lad was her favorite student. Only, but still. He had already tried to adhere to her rules and was trying to keep her happy. This was good.

Damn these boring days. The power of the supercalculator made running the school a breeze...it was almost too easy. It left Solaris with insane amounts of free time, for tinkering, for reading, for playing music...or even better yet: practical jokes. Oh yes, it was hammer time now!
Who would it be today...he scanned through the list of active MACs, and found one in particular. English class was starting. The teacher, Ms. L as he knew, severely disliked noise, perhaps he'd use this to his advantage, there was only one student present, but no matter, the annoyance factor, as well as the funny would be more than enough to make his day. A camera in the room flipped on, the red light blinking twice, then remaining red. From the core, he did what he wished.
"5 minutes...heh." Oh yes, this is going to be good.

Matrim felt slightly embarrassed that he had gone to all the trouble but had done so to the extreme. Of course, there was a reason behind it.
"Sorry, it's just after seeing Ms. Chekov shoot somebody I began to fear for my life. However, I seemed to have forgotten my manners," Matrim was taught manners by his father, it was something he had ignored and brushed off, but since his fathers death he remembered every word for some reason. He didn't usually follow them, but he did whenever they were called for, "My name is Matrim Gallagher."
Hey, she's talking to you. That's a bit more then any other girl has done your entire life.
Mentally, Matrim hung his head in defeat. Physically, he remained smiling slightly, excited to have been able to talk without fear of being shot or decapitated.

Sephora walked lithely down the hall. Her white pants bundled above sandaled feet rustled slightly as she hummed softly to herself. This was her first english class. . . well, ever. She had been tutored for the entirety of her life, and Sephora was looking forward to learning with other students in a publicish setting.
Stepping into the classroom and putting away her MAC, she adjusted her black jacket and smiled at the teacher. She was unsure how to address a teacher, so she added a short bow, wondering if that was proper protocol.
It appeared that the only other student in the room was talking to her, which confused Sephora since the woman had been quite clear at orientation that noise was not going to be tolerated in her classroom. Glancing at the clock, there was only a few minutes until the bell was going to ring. Choosing a seat near the only other student, Sephora placed her teal tote on the ground and slid into her seat, smiling at the sitting boy.

Alex made his way down the hall, his shoulder bag slung over his shoulder. He had a few minutes left before class started, this would be the first time in a long time that he'd be in a classroom again, having spent two years being tutored. He reached the classroom and opened the door with his MAC. He stepped in, and immediately saw two students already sitting, along with the teacher, who was speaking to one.
Alex remembered the rule the teacher, Ms. L, had said at Orientation, but he guessed that since class hadn't started yet, they were free to talk. He made his way to one of the desks, the last row beside the window, and sat down. He was near the two other students, and gave them both a glance as he placed his bag on the ground, and opened it, pulling out a notebook and a pencil bag. His pencil bag had a popular Korean icon on it, but he really didn't care what people thought of it.
He leaned back in his chair, and stared out the window, waiting for class to begin. He wondered how many other students would come, or if anyone tried to sneak into the class since they were late. Alex checked the clock hanging on the wall, a couple more minutes left. He turned his gaze to look at the teacher, now he could get a good look at her, at Orientation, while she was on the stage, you generally can't get a good look with about a dozen or more heads in front of you. He quickly glanced over her, before turning his gaze back to the window.
OOC: If you're wondering what icon I'm talking about, it's Mashimaro, and I didn't make it up, I actually have a pencil bag like that.

Matrim watched as the girl walked in, and as he did with every other girl, he immediately fell in love with her. Of course, this one was a bit different, because this girl was exceptionally stunning. Matrim wasn't sure if he'd be able to speak to her.
Forget it Matrim, she's out of your league...
Matrim would normally have hung his head in defeat and become instantly depressed but it was then that she sat down next to him.
There is hope yet for you, kid.
Then the girl, obviously being quiet to follow the rules, smiled at him.
SUCCESS! In your FACE self-doubt!
Matrim smiled back, leaned over so he could talk to her quietly and said, "She said as long as it's before the bell and we don't annoy her it's ok if we talk. My name is Matrim by the way."
Matrim had a million different pickup lines running through his head but he shoved them down. They only got him slapped by girls and if they didn't do that they'd roll their eyes at him and walk on past him.
Just then the boy who had been at orientation walked in. Apparently he was the principal's son. People were talking about how he didn't look that tough. Well, neither did Matrim, and still he was pretty tough. Matrim would talk to the boy later, possibly about fighting each other, after all Corgan seemed to have made a big deal about the boy at orientation and Matrim had beaten him.
Note to self, challenge the Hikari boy.
Matrim's focus then returned to the girl in almost a split second from looking towards the boy.

Ms. L smirked as Matrim introduced himself. "Matrim huh? Seems to a common name around here. And as for Ms. Chekov...she has her own style of teaching...As for the talking...well, once the bell rings I expect silence."
She smiled and turned to the other students who had entered into her class room. A girl and a boy, the boy she would keep an eye on as he had chosen a seat in the back. Class would start soon and she would be ready for any misbehaving the kids might have. Not like all were going to be perfect. If there was one good kid there were three bad ones.

Sephora opened her tote and pulled out a smooth black notebook with a matching mechanical pencil. The notebook had a teal flower on the bottom left corner, matching her tote. Father had given her free reign for picking out school supplies, yet she enjoyed the sweet simplicity of the single flower.
Brushing her smooth hair out of her face, Sephora looked to her right. The boy she had sat near was looking at her with a strange look in his eye. She wondered if he was feeling alright. "She said as long as it's before the bell and we don't annoy her it's ok if we talk. My name is Matrim by the way." After he had said this another student entered the classroom and sat down near them, but closer to the window. Sephora smiled at him as well.
She turned her attention back to the boy, after Ms. L had spoken to him. "Well I suppose we had best avoid annoying her. My name is Sephora, it is a pleasure to make your aquiantnace Matrim." Reaching out her hand, Sephora wondered if she had introduced herself correctly or if her Armenian accent was too thick to be understood with the whisper. She was still getting used to the whole 'school' thing and wasn't really sure how to introduce herself to classmates yet.

Matrim noticed her strong accent, not knowing where in the world it was from, but he understood what she said. His dad may have had trouble hearing people from all the loud music all his life but he was no where close to his dad. He didn't go to concerts and deafen himself with loud amps.
Do I shake her hand or do the old school thing and kiss it? Come on.... think Matrim..... what would be the smooth move here..... who cares you haven't got a chance anyway. Go for broke!
Matrim lowered his head, pulling the hand up to his lips and lightly kissed the back of her hand close to the knuckles. He released her hand and said, "The pleasure is all mine, Sephora."
His fathers lessons on being a gentleman were proving more useful then Matrim had thought they ever would. That is, unless he was being too forward. After all, did they still do that in any country on the world?
Matrim didn't care.

Alex looked up surprised as the girl beside Matrim gave him a smile, to which he at first looked surpirsed, but then smiled back, uncertain. Alex looked over at Ms. L, who was eyeing him, perhaps she thought he was a troublemaker? Quite the opposite, but Alex would show he wasn't the type to stir up or cause trouble.
He continued to stare out the window, mostly because class had yet to start. He heard the girl give her name, Sephora, in an accent that Alex hadn't heard before. " Sephora...that's an interesting name." he thought, " and her accent is different as well." as he checked the clock, one minute left. If Matrim or Sephora decided to talk to him, well, that was fine with him, if not, it was still fine with him. He twirled a pencil in his hand absentmindedly, as clouds drifted above in the sky lazily.
He stretched in his desk, yawning widely, as his longs legs touched the back legs of the desk in front of him. He leaned back in the chair again, as students scrambled to sits in desks, wanting to avoid being late or incure the wrath of the teacher.

Swartz looked carefully around the school, he was completely and utterly lost, and that was rather bad, considering this school. He eventually found his way to the English Classroom, and walked in carefully. "Good Morning." He spoke to the teacher, reading the name on the board. He filed the name away and sat down in a desk on the second row. He fished in his coat for a book, a battered thing bareing simply the author's name, Robert Jordan, the cover had been worn away, and replaced by a piece of Brown cardboard bareing the name and a Number 3 on it in a hasty scrawl. He twirled a pencil he had been using as a bookmark between his hands as he began to read the book. He was quickly absorbed in the fantasy world of the Author, he barely registered that the teacher was in the room, much less the other students. Wenn Slience golden ist, wundere ich mich, was Silber ist? he wondered to himself
OOC: Reading in a seat on the second row.

Heheh...
"Fire in the hole!" Solaris yelled to himself as he willed the fire alarm into activity. A massive burst of sound...much like a blowhorn was emitted into the room. As he did so, the AI recorded the chaos. This would be something funny to cherish for some time...
(Short I know...but I'm kinda minor in this topic.)

Alex was staring out the window when a sudden burst of noise shot out of nowhere, and it was freakin' loud. Alex immediately clamped his ears shut with his hands, as around him, students, both boys and girls, started shouting and yelling. While the situation, though funny, also was very noisy, and as much as Alex would love to sit back and watch, the siren was hurting his ears.
" Damn it, I came here for English, not to have my ears blasted off." he grumbled. Who in the world would want to set off the alarm? Probably someone who was very bored or very stupid, and Alex knew it wasn't someone very stupid, so it was someone very bored. What a way to start class.
