OOC: Okay kids, this is it. The first of the epic threads that'll kick off the first event. Have fun.
" Mr. Hikari? They're here." his secretary's voice called out almost quietly from the intercom on his desk. " Understood, thank you Sandra." Alex replied, as he switched off the intercom. He leaned back in his chair, and closed his eyes, it was time. He opened his eyes, and picking up a file on his desk, he stood up. Crossing the room, he opened his door, and stepped out of his room, heading towards the interview room. It was time.
Alex crossed the school grounds, two folded pieces of paper tucked in the book he was carrying and two applications forms in a separate book. Two nights ago, he had finished writing the questions for the interview in invisible ink for Matrim and Reira and obtained application forms for them to fill out, all that was left was to find them. As he continued walking, a flash of blue caught his eye, and he knew who it was. Matrim. Moving towards him, he tapped Matrim on the shoulder and handed him one of the pieces of paper that were folded, and the application form.
Nodding at him, he took off without a word, he didn't need to talk, Matrim knew what to do. All that was left was to find Reira. Opening the door with his MAC and going into the building he had class in, he opened his classroom door and walked in, and saw the person he was looking for, Reira. And he was in luck, she was alone, sitting at her desk. Walking up to her, he sat down in front of her and handed her the paper and application, nodding at her, again not saying anything before turning around to face the front. That was one job done, next was to modify their profiles. No problem.
- 2 nights later -
Alex sat at his computer, his own private computer that had been hooked up to his father's computer, giving him access to all the students profiles. He had logged in with his own account, which gave him access to his father's files, so no suspicion would be aroused, especially concerning Solaris. Scrolling down to Reira's profile, he modified it and immediately printed it out and attached it to the application form Reira had filled out and gave back to him yesterday, the application was needed to apply at Hikari Industries. He slipped it into a huge envelope, and then reverted Reira's profile back to normal, no trace of his work detectable.
He then scrolled down and did the exact same thing with Matrim's profile, printed it out, placed it with the application form that Matrim had filled out and gave him back, reverted Matrim's profile to normal, no one would ever know he had been in the archives and then sealed both envelopes. He then logged off his computer and then walked out of his room, and handed the envelopes to the guard standing outside, who would mail the envelopes from a different location in Japan.
His second job done, Alex would give the both of them at least two weeks to study the questions and be sure of their answers. When the time for the interviews came, there would be no room for stuttering or mumbling. Failure would not an option. Alex could only hoped that the two of them would be prepared when the time came. It was all up to them now, he had done all he could, preparation-wise...
- Present -
Alex walked down the hallway, and reached the interview room. Reaching out and grasping the door knob, he opened the door, and stepped into the room, the door closing behind him. His two executives would arrive in a couple minutes, and Matrim and Reira would have to clear the security checks before being escorted to the interview room. Walking to his chair, Alex sat down in it, and made himself comfortable, it was time. As if on cue, his two executives walked in, and bowed before him before taking their seats beside him.
The table in front of him had three chairs opposite them, and the center one would be where Matrim and Reira would sit for their interviews. The two execs sat down and opened their folders, ready to take notes and observe. " Mr. Hikari?" another voice called out from the intercom on the table, " They've cleared security and are making their way to the interview room." " Thank you Anthony." Alex replied, flicking the intercom off. The moment had arrived.
Alex pressed the elevator button and waited for it to arrive. A folder was in his hand, filled with papers. The elevator arrived, and Alex stepped in, pressing the button for the rooftop. The doors closed, and the elevator ascended. With a ding, he arrived on the rooftop, and stepped out. Opening the door, his private jet had already arrived, and was ready to take off. Stepping into the plane, the door closed, airtight, and Alex sat down in his chair, and clipped on his seatbelt. The jet then took off, and Alex was on his way to Hikari Industries. As soon as the jet was leveled, Alex turned his MAC on and sent Matrim and Reira a text. The message said,
It's time. Be at the pick up location in 3 hours. Don't be late.
Alex placed his MAC back in his pocket, and unclipped his seatbelt, he roamed around the cabin, taking a drink, or watched TV, it would be a relatively long flight. He had prepared this a long while ago, his guard would met Matrim and Reira at Kane's Floor, the jet would already be back after dropping Alex off, ready to take them to Hikari Industries. Once they arrived, his limousine wuld be waiting for them, and take them to the building. After about an hour, the seatbelt light went on, meaning it was about time to descend. Alex went back to his seat, and clipped his seatbelt. The jet began to descend, and 10 minutes later, touched ground at the private airport. After exiting the jet, Alex walked to his limo that was waiting for him, and was taken directly to Hikari Industries. He watched the scenary go by, and too soon, the limo was pulling up at the building.
Alex stepped out, and walked through the entrance. He flashed his ID, and headed to the executive elevator. Inserting his ID into the slot to activate the elevator, the doors immediately opened, and Alex stepped in. The elevator ascended and reached his office in mere moments. Stepping out, his secretary bowed to him, and he went in, the folder still in his hand. He then sat down, and reviewed his notes, waiting for them to come.
- Present -
Alex heard a knock on the door, and the door opened, and his assistant, Anthony, walked in. " Sir, they're here." " Good, send Mr. Gallagher in first." " Understood sir." Let the interviews commence.

-getting ready for interview-
Matrim had a suit he could wear, he just hated wearing professional clothes. He didn't want to overdress, but under dressing was a lot worse. So he got his short sleeve white button up collar shirt, which he wore a lot. This time however, he got his black dress pants, his belt, his extremely nice cufflings. He got his matching blue tie and his suit jacket.
These were extremely expensive clothes with the exception of the button up shirt. He was a rich kid himself once. Not Hikari rich, but pretty rich.
"Alright. Let's go."
He got the message on his MAC and headed out.
-in the Limousine-
"It's been awhile..... this isn't too shabby. I'm glad to be out of that place, aren't you?"
He turned to Reira in the limousine and smiled.
Whats stopping me from breaking out of this limo right now... activate my shield, duck and roll.... run for the hills..... run and hide.... and I'm out..... that's it.......
Don't be stupid Matrim.... play it safe.
"Still........" Matrim said under his breath rolling down the window, "Still wish this Limo ride was to my home in London......"
-Hikari Industries-
A man came out of the room after notifying Alex that they had arrived. He seemed like a pretty solid dude, definitely the obedient type. Matrim kept thinking of his dads old manager back in the day, oh well, those times are gone.
"Mr. Gallagher?"
"For the last time, call me Matt. Mr. Gallagher was my grandfather's name." Matrim said.
"Please, follow me."
"Yes sir." Matrim said in all seriousness, he turned and gave a wink to Reira, his hair had been combed nicely, not gelled the way it usually was, He followed into the interview room to see Alex Hikari and the other interviewers.
Matrim stepped in, walking towards the chair across from it but not sitting in it yet. He extended his hand out, he was going to shake everyones hand first and introduce himself, "Matrim Gallagher, it's a pleasure meeting you all here today."

-Preparation-
This was it then. The day when she would be interviewed to become one of Alex's assistants. Although the underlying motive was to escape from the prison's clutches. She had been excited for this day, completely confident, but now, when the time actaully came, she was nervous. Butterflies pranced around in her stomach like they were mutated. Patting her stomach reassuringly, she dressed into formal clothes, something that was way out of her league, but it was necessary.
She wore form fitting black dress pants, a white female button up shirt, complete with a thick black bust belt. Instead of her beloved converse, she forced herself to slip on black formal heels. Now for her hair. Instead of just leaving it down and plain, she curled it into loose curls and put it half up. Staring at her self in the mirror she cringed. Where had Reira gone? She was defiantely not here, all she could see was a girl that looked older then 15 and ready for a hard day in the business world. Sighing heavily, she headed towards Kane's floor, message recieved.
-Limousine Ride-
"It's been awhile..... this isn't too shabby. I'm glad to be out of that place, aren't you?" Matrim had asked her with a small smile. She returned it slightly, her nerves keeping her mind elsewhere. "Mmm," was all she could say back. Of course she was greatly glad to be out of that place, he knew that.
Reira was seated across from Matrim. The black leather of the limo made her nose crunch. It smelled funny. So she was happy when Matrim rolled down the window to let some of the cool breeze circulate the vehicle. The wind was upsetting her hair, so she just shrugged not really carring anymore, and took out the bobby pins that held up her half-do. Her hair curled around her shoulders, at least it still looked good.
"Still........Still wish this Limo ride was to my home in London......" "I couldn't agree more," she answered hugging her sides and staring blankly out the window. Get this right, and she was free.
-Hikari Industries-
The two of them arrived at the Hikari Industries in no time. She suddenly wished the ride in the limo was longer, even if the smell of leather made her brain squirm. She hated acting..formal..she wished she would just be herself and be in her own skin. Suck it up baby, it's only for today...and some. A long day it would be.
After a moment or two waiting in the lounge, a big burly man entered their pressence. Must've be the escourt. She felt very tiny compared to him. "Mr. Gallagher?" The man said, glancing over to Matrim."For the last time, call me Matt. Mr. Gallagher was my grandfather's name." Matrim said. Reira couldn't help but mutter a small laugh. Matrim seemed to at ease, maybe she was wrong to be feeling the way she was. "Please, follow me," the man stated, indicating for Matrim to follow him. He winked at her and she waved. "Good luck." It was so weird seeing him all dressed up. He looked good, just different.
Sighing, she took her seat in the lavishly decorated lounge room. Just a little more waiting for her to do, then it would be her turn.

Alex looked straight ahead as Matrim walked in, wearing a suit. " Well Matrim you passed the first test, dressing for an interview." Alex thought, as Anthony closed the door behind Matrim. The interview room was lit brightly, Alex had redecorated it to suit his own needs, his father's idea of decorating was...less than nothing.
"Matrim Gallagher, it's a pleasure meeting you all here today." Alex stood up, as well as his two execs, and shook Matrim's hand, his eyes clearly stating to Matrim, " I'm sorry, I have no choice but to act like I'm meeting you for the first time Mat." As his two execs shook Matrim's hand, Alex spoke. " Welcome to Hikari Industries Matrim, please have a seat." Sitting down, Alex opened his folder and pulled out his sheet with the list of questions on them, and began.
" I've reviewed your profile, and it looks spotless, a clean criminal record. That's one part needed to become a part of Hikari Industries, no criminal acts whatsoever." His two execs nodded in agreement when Alex looked at them, they had looked it over beforehand too. Thanks to Alex's handiwork, Matrim was so far, in the clear, but he wasn't out of the woods just yet. " Let's begin. Matrim, tell us about yourself." Alex started off, easing Matrim into a easy question, he wanted to put Matrim at ease, so the interview would run smoothly, at least, he hoped it would.
"Why did you apply to Hikari Industries, especially for the job of my assistant?" Alex asked, starting off with a simple question.
"What qualifications do you have that you think would get you this job?"
"Why should we hire you?" Alex continued to ask, he had to be tough, as the head, it was his job to be as tough on Matrim as he could. It was nothing personal, if Alex could, he would've just do the interviews with just him and Matrim, but no, he had to follow procedure, head or not. His two execs watched Matrim closely, reading his body language, the way he'd answer the questions, scrutinizing everything he did, and they would take notes, all to help Alex out.
" Matrim why should I hire you?"
" Why do you want to work here, especially as my assistant?"
"If hired, what strengths would you bring to Hikari industries?" Alex looked directly at Matrim, his face was serious, but inside, he hoped Matrim knew his answers and wouldn't stumble or stutter nervously.
Matrim, you don't need to convince me that you want this job, I'd hire you to help you escape, but you have to convince my two execs that you want it. Good luck my friend...

Boy, and I thought the flames he could create with his body defined the term 'bring the heat'. He's really making me work for this job. It's a damn good thing I've dealt with press, and if anyone is watching your every move, it's the press. Being the son of rock stars, we've had plenty of paparazzi snoop around us and find nothing.
Matrim had taken his seat, he sat upright, his hands together interlacing the fingers, laid across his lap.
" I've reviewed your profile, and it looks spotless, a clean criminal record. That's one part needed to become a part of Hikari Industries, no criminal acts whatsoever. Let's begin. Matrim, tell us about yourself."
"My name is Matrim Gallagher as you know, I'm the son of Luke Gallagher, grandson of Liam Gallagher, I come from a family of musicians, but more then that, I come from a family of men who did business."
"Why did you apply to Hikari Industries, especially for the job of my assistant? What qualifications do you have that you think would get you this job? Why should we hire you? Matrim why should I hire you? Why do you want to work here, especially as my assistant? If hired, what strengths would you bring to Hikari industries?"
"Hikari Industries is a very profitable and powerful organization, working for Hikari Industries is the dream job for any business man. As for why the position of your assistant? I believe my business experience can grow even further working day after day with the head of Hikari Industries. My business skills would allow me to aid you as well as learn from you.
I believe that in time I could one day raise a family and know that Hikari Industries would offer me the best benefits of any major business out there. I want to be part of the team, I want to be a part of what Hikari Industries is doing in the world, I know for a fact that if I were to be hired by Hikari Industries, I would one day look back on my life, and know that earning a job with this company, instead of any other, will have meant that I did the best I could to honour my father, and provide for my future family."
Matrim smiled with his eyes and mouth, inside he was a ticking clock. It was a good thing his artificial heart didn't speed up, because if he had his old one, this would have been his panic attack crisis right here.
"I want to do my best, for myself, for my father, for my family, and most importantly, I want to do my best for your company."
Always with the speeches..... I really did inherit my father's ability to talk.
Matrim waited for a reply, he knew there might be more questions. He did however, keep from any nervous habits, he didn't sweat, he didn't shake, he went through this section of the interview as if it were guaranteed. Of course, that's because in his head, he kept telling himself he was.

Alex saw Matrim had taken his seat and was sitting upright, good, slouching would work against you, especially here of all places. "My name is Matrim Gallagher as you know, I'm the son of Luke Gallagher, grandson of Liam Gallagher, I come from a family of musicians, but more then that, I come from a family of men who did business." Alex heard his two execs begin to write right away, the scratching of their pens barely heard as Matrim continued.
"Hikari Industries is a very profitable and powerful organization, working for Hikari Industries is the dream job for any business man. As for why the position of your assistant? I believe my business experience can grow even further working day after day with the head of Hikari Industries. My business skills would allow me to aid you as well as learn from you."
" Correct. Hikari Industries is a very powerful and profitable organization, many dream of working here, but only a few are chosen. You were lucky to have an interview, many don't even get the chance for one, especially as the position of my assistant, which is especially difficult to acquire. Lucky indeed..." Alex agreed.
" I believe that in time I could one day raise a family and know that Hikari Industries would offer me the best benefits of any major business out there.
Alex nodded at Matrim's answers, they were indeed well thought out, Matrim had done his homework well, courtesy of Alex, who had given him and Reira the questions beforehand. "I want to do my best, for myself, for my father, for my family, and most importantly, I want to do my best for your company." " I see, I see." Alex replied, he saw Matrim smile, but he knew that Matrim was nervous as hell, anyone would be, as his execs continued to write away furiously beside him, they were taking down anything they thought would be helpful and useful in Alex's decision.
"Matrim, what is your definition of an assistant to the head?"
" How long would it take you to adjust to the work style here?"
" Are you able to work under pressure? Hikari Industries is after all, one of the biggest companies in Japan, the pressure we constantly face is not like a typical company, many who work here have faced the pressure before and nearly broke down from it." Alex asked, his hands folded neatly on the table, as he looked at Matrim, waiting for his answers. Now Alex needed to give Matrim a very difficult question, actually more like a situation, one that had the pressure staff faced every day.
" Now, Matrim I'm going to give you a situation, and you respond how you would handle it.
You have a memo concerning a meeting with another company to give me, I'm currently not in my office, and other staff are asking you for help. You have three different people asking you to do three different things, one is asking you to deliver a report to me, another one needs you to deliver a message to one of my execs, the last one needs you to relay a message to one of the higher ups, and the memo you have to give me has to arrive to me as soon as possible, so I can set up a time for the company to come. How would you respond, and give me reasons why."
Alex gave Matrim a difficult situation, even though he knew Matrim had already seen the situation of paper, but his execs didn't know that, so to them, it would seem like Matrim was hearing this for the first time. Alex was truly, bringing the heat.

Matrim decided to dive headfirst into the role of the business executive assistant prodigy, letting a "Hmm" Escape his mouth while smiling. Smiling not because he had heard the question before, but almost as if he had never heard it before and was amused with his luck that this question was asked.
"Well, to answer your first questions, I would take on the duty of making your job as easy as possible for you. Handling paperwork, doing my best to solve any scheduling crisis, setting up meetins, rescheduling to work around your schedule if necessary, and of course, taking every job you give me personally and complete the task in a timely manner.
"I don't believe it'll take long to get used to the working style here, I can apply most of what I learned from my father during my life on the road with this job. The technical jargon is definitely different in the music business, but the overall goals are quite the same. Satisfy the clients needs while meeting our own, keep our clientele happy, and the business takes care of it self.
"I'll answer your question about pressure with the example." Matrim was about to make them feel like they were asking the right person the right question, and he would explain how he knew the answer in a very subtle, very believable way, "Like I said, my family were business men. I went with them on the road, dealing with venues, record companies, assisting with their public relations, and for some reason as a child I became very good at this, very fast. I can remember several times when a band member would go missing fifteen minutes before they were to go on stage, and with it being their time at a very well known and very large venue this can damage a bands professional image. Nobody wants to work with an unprofessional person in a very professional business. I don't panic, I remember where I last saw him, and I replay everything he said to me that day. And if you excuse the crudeness of this next statement, I remember him slapping a girl on the behind, and her looking back and smiling. So I know he's off with this girl somewhere, because that is the only thing that would distract him. This band member happened to be the drummer, and we found him four minutes later.
"In this situation, I wouldn't panic, it's something that I was not only taught, but I then proceeded to learn time and time again. If you panic you stop thinking straight, if that happens your in a worse off situation before. I proceed to relay a message to the exec and higher up, meanwhile I'm texting, emailing, sending faxes, calling cell phones, all with a very calm tone, but all finding out the same information, 'Where is Alex Hikari'. Technology is astounding these days, and it has become easier and easier to find someone. Call those who see him everyday. If nobody has seen him, the answer is simple, and no offense to you Mr. Hikari, but if nobody has seen you that day, you are most likely in bed sleeping in. So I would call first, but if you didn't answer I'd have to pay a visit personally, making sure I put someone in charge of forwarding all my calls, greeting any guests to see you that day, and calling me in case you turn up. Once I find you, I report to you everything has been taken care of with the exception of the report and the memo which I then deliver upon finding you."
Matrim had definitely answered their question about panic. He then decided to add the icing on the cake, "However, if I may, to add on to a question you asked earlier about what I define being your assistant as? I would never put myself in the situation where I had no idea where you are."
Eat that Hikari Industries.
Matrim smiled and awaited their response.

"Hmm..." Alex heard Matrim say, way to act the part Matrim, someone give the man an Oscar. Or not. Alex saw from the corner of his eye his execs pause, to listen to what Matrim was going to say.
"Well, to answer your first question, I would take on the duty of making your job as easy as possible for you. Handling paperwork, doing my best to solve any scheduling crisis, setting up meetings, rescheduling to work around your schedule if necessary, and of course, taking every job you give me personally and complete the task in a timely manner. Well done. Alex would've applauded Matrim, if not for the fact he was sitting with his two execs, so he settled with a simple. " Very interesting. Very interesting indeed." Smooth Matrim, very smooth. Could Matrim keep this up? The answer was yes, yes he could. The guy immediately plowed into Alex's mock situation without a moment to waste.
"I'll answer your question about pressure with the example." Matrim was about to make them feel like they were asking the right person the right question, and he would explain how he knew the answer in a very subtle, very believable way, "Like I said, my family were business men. Alex immediately heard the scratching of pens, all the while Matrim was talking, Alex nodded his head, though when Matrim mentioned if nobody knew where Alex was and he'd probably be sleeping, Alex couldn't help but grumble jokingly inside.
Sleeping in!? Come on Matrim, give me some credit, you really think I'd sleep in!? I'd probably be playing my guitar, not sleeping! Thanks for making me look soooo good...not! Oh well, whatever.
"However, if I may, to add on to a question you asked earlier about what I define being your assistant as? I would never put myself in the situation where I had no idea where you are." "Very nice Matrim, very thorough. Now, Matrim, what are, if you have any, your weaknesses?"
" What are your future goals?"
" How long do you plan on staying with Hikari Industries?"
Alex leaned back, Matrim's interview was almost done, he just had to answer these questions, and then it would be Reira's turn to face the heat.
Reira, I hope you're ready. It's going to be a loooong day.

"Well, for one I'm human, I don't make mistakes on any normal day but once in a blue moon one of my calculations, I suppose if anything I have a tendency to become attached to my work. My father and grandfather used to say I'd treat my family like business partners, and I'd treat the record company execs and venue's like family."
Refrain from saying kryptonite, refrain from saying kryptonite.....
Matrim continued to answer the last two questions which sounded like a wrap up of questions, "My goals are simple, make a name for myself, gain a secure job, raise a family. I would wish to stay with Hikari Industries as long as you'd have me."
Matrim smiled, the second they said this interview was over he would kindly thank them, once again shake their hands, and make his way out to the lobby.
Well, that was tough, but I think I did pretty well.

Interesting, very interesting. Alex had a feeling his execs were very intrigued by Matrim's answers, they had written down quite a lot during the time he and Matrim had been talking. Alex nodded his head, acknowledging Matrim's response, as he continued on.
" My goals are simple, make a name for myself, gain a secure job, raise a family. I would wish to stay with Hikari Industries as long as you'd have me." " Excellent, excellent, I'd say that wraps up the interview. Matrim, thank you for coming," Alex said, standing up and holding out his hand for Matrim to shake, as his execs finished writing and stood up beside him. " You're free to leave now." Alex said, as he flicked on the intercom.
" Anthony?" " Yes sir?" " Please send in Ms. DeMorvick now, and escort Mr. Gallagher to the lobby lounge." " Understood sir." Alex turned the intercom off and sat down, leaning back in the chair, that was one interview down, one to go. His execs sat down beside him and pulled out a fresh notebook, ready for Reira.
Reira...it's time. Be ready.

Reira sat in the waiting lounge watching the time go by. She wondered how Matrim was holding up. Probably fine, he was a clever guy. She was glaring at herself if that was possible. The need to go over the interview questions, kept tumbling around in her mind. There was really no need, she had memorized all the questions and all her answers if she studied anymore, she would overload her brain and forget everything. God forbid!
Curling a strand of hair around one of her fingers, she was interrupted when a man in a suit was standing infront of her. "Ms. DeMorvick, please follow me." Nodding curtly, she stood up and followed the burly man. It was her turn...she urged herself to relax and be completely at ease.
Nothing to it, Reira. Just don't over think this. Act like your a hardcore business person! Maybe add a little bitch in there for comfort. Look the door...Good luck to me.
Setting a serious face and a calm demeanor, she entered the interview room, not surprised she didn't see Matrim on the way out. The room was set nicely, with Alex behind a desk and his two execs seating beside him.
"Goodafternoon, I'm Reira DeMorvick, it's a pleasure for you to have me," Reira said holding out her hand for them to shake. She surprised herself when her voice came out smoothly.
Let's get this over with, before my uptight business woman charade wears out.

Alex looked up as Reira walked in, wearing a form fitting black dress pants, a white female button up shirt, complete with a thick black bust belt. As he saw her walk to the desk, he saw she was wearing black formal heels. " Classy Reira, real classy." Alex thought, grinning in his mind, but his face was serious, though his eyes showed a bit of his amusement.
"Good afternoon, I'm Reira DeMorvick, it's a pleasure for you to have me here." Alex stood up, as did his two execs, and shook Reira's hand, his eyes saying the exact same thing when he interviewed Matrim, " I'm sorry Reira, I have no choice but to act like I'm meeting you for the first time." As his two execs shook Reira's hand, Alex spoke, " Welcome to Hikari Industries Reira, please have a seat." He then sat down once more and opened his folder and pulled out the sheet with the list of questions on them, and began.
" I've reviewed your profile Reira, and it looks spotless, a clean criminal record. That's one part needed to become a part of Hikari Industries, no criminal acts whatsoever." His two execs nodded in agreement again when Alex looked at them, they had looked it over beforehand too. Thanks to Alex's handywork, Reira, like Matrim, was so far, in the clear, but she too wasn't out of the woods just yet. " Let's begin. Reira, tell us about yourself." Alex started off, giving Reira an easy question, so he could put her at ease, so the interview would run smoothly like it did with Matrim's, at least, he was hoping it would.
"Why did you apply to Hikari Industries, especially for the job of my assistant?" Alex asked, once again starting off with a simple question.
"What qualifications do you have that you think would get you this job?"
"Why should I hire you?" Alex continued to ask, he had to be tough, as the head, it was his job to be as tough on Reira like he had been on Matrim. It was nothing personal again, if Alex could, he would've just do the interviews with just him and Reira, but no, he had to follow procedure, head or not. His two execs watched Reira closely like they had done with Matrim, once again reading her body language, the way she'd answer the questions, scrutinizing everything she did, and they would take notes, all to help Alex out.
" Why do you want to work here, especially as my assistant?"
"If hired, what strengths would you bring to Hikari Industries?" Alex looked directly at Reira, his face was still serious, but inside, he hoped Reira knew her answers well and wouldn't stumble or stutter nervously.
Reira, good luck. I don't need to be convinced to hire you, my two execs are the ones who need convincing. It would suck badly if Matrim got the job and you didn't. I wish you the best of luck Reira.
OOC: Yeah, I basically re-used what I wrote in my old post, but I added some words here and there. Also, I'll be combining the interviews and the announcement of hiring together in here, so we can get it over with, sound good you two?

After she had made her greeting, she exchanged hands with all of them, shaking with a stirdy grip. "Welcome to Hikari Industries Reira, please have a seat." She nodded curtly and took her seat, folding one leg over the other, sitting straight, and placing her hands together on her lap. No problem. Now that she had a good look at his execs, she decided they weren't that intimidating. For some reason she was picturing big muscular men, with veins protruding from their foreheads...whew!
Alex opened a folder and peered into it. He began to talk to her about her spotless record. If only his words were true. She really wished she had a spotless record. He carried on and she just nodded slighlty every now and then, indicating she was listening.
"Let's begin. Reira, tell us about yourself."
"My name is Reira Marino DeMorvick. I am Rias Marino's great niece, and second cousin to his son Demetri Marino. Both of these men run a very profitable business and you can say their expertise for such skills is genetic," she said, concealing the fact that Rias was actually the leader of his own personal drug mafia.
I hate how I'm using your name Rias!! At least your good for something you scumbag!
"Why did you apply to Hikari Industries, especially for the job of my assistant?"
"The Hikari Industry is a very dominating company. It's any mans wildest dreams to be working with the Hikari Industries. Not only is it powerful and profitable, it is influential. I want to be a part of that. I want to use that influence it has to bring more success to the company. Also, I want to find a responsible and challenging position that will utilize my training, knowledge and offer opportunities for personal growth. My goal is to ensure a good, positive and professional image for your company."
"What qualifications do you have that you think would get you this job?"
"As for my qualifications, well as I have stated before, I was raised into a family that has it's own profitable business. I was tutored by Rias and Demetri in the ways of the business world, and I wish to show you these skills."
"Why should I hire you?"
"You should hire me because I have good communication skills. I am able to read and understand information and I can write and speak to others in an clear and consise manner. I am also very responsible and punctual. I enjoy working with people and am able to recognize and respect people's diversities and perspectives."
"Why do you want to work here, especially as my assistant?"
"I want to work here, because working here would provide me with a safe and secure future. I want to add to the success and the influence this company has with the world. I want to watch how this company will change the world, while knowing that I, Reira, was part of the team. Earning this job would inspire me to become an even better person, because this company, can't afford anything less then best."
"If hired, what strengths would you bring to Hikari Industries?"
"I am deteremined, clever with my words, and have above expectaion observatory skills. I am stubborn and will not settle for anything under prefection."
Throughout the procedure of answering the questions, Reira was surprised to find it wasn't so bad as she thought it would be. The hectic humming of the execs writing, lulled her into calmness. Well..this whole thing would be really really nervewracking if she had no clue who Alex was, and didn't know what the questions were beforehand. Good thing she did some studying.
Shifting slightly in her seat, she gazed upon Alex, awaiting for the next questions. So far so good. Can't slip up now. It was nearly over.

Alex saw Reira take her seat and was sitting upright, just as Matrim had been before her, good, slouching would work against her, especially here of all places. Not something you want to do. "My name is Reira Marino DeMorvick. I am Rias Marino's great niece, and second cousin to his son Demetri Marino. Both of these men run a very profitable business and you can say their expertise for such skills is genetic." Alex immediately heard his two execs begin to write right away again, the scratching of their pens barely audible as Reira continued on.
" Yes, that's very true, Hikari Industries is a very dominating company, any man would give his right arm or more to work here, you're very lucky to have an interview, especially when so few make it past the first stage, where I review their profile and application. I can't count the number of times I rejected applications since becoming the head." Alex agreed with her, letting her continue.
"As for my qualifications, well as I have stated before, I was raised into a family that has it's own profitable business. I was tutored by Rias and Demetri in the ways of the business world, and I wish to show you these skills. You should hire me because I have good communication skills. Earning this job would inspire me to become an even better person, because this company, can't afford anything less then best. I am determined, clever with my words, and have above expectation observatory skills. I am stubborn and will not settle for anything under perfection."
"I see, I see." Alex replied, as his execs continued to write away furiously beside him, they were taking down anything they thought would be helpful and useful when Alex had to make his decision.
"Reira, what is your definition of an assistant to the head?"
" How long would it take you to adjust to the work style here?"
" Are you able to work under pressure? Hikari Industries is after all, one of the biggest companies in Japan, the pressure we constantly face is not like a typical company, many who work here have faced the pressure before and nearly broke down from it." Alex asked, his hands once again folded neatly on the table, as he looked at Reira, waiting for her to answer. Now Alex needed to give Reira the same difficult situation that he had given Matrim, one that gave her a small taste of the pressure the staff here faced every day.
" Now, Reira I'm going to give you a situation, and you respond how you would handle it.
Alex gave Reira the difficult situation Matrim had been asked, even though he knew she had already seen the situation on paper, but his execs didn't know that, so to them, it would seem like Reira was hearing this for the first time, just like Matrim. Alex was truly, bringing the heat once again.

Only six more questions. She remembered how hard it was for her to come up with professional answers when she first viewed the questions. Reira had a tough time making a resume! But after a long periods of calculation and debates with herself she'd managed to come up with half decent answers, probably not half as good at Matrim's, but at least she had something.
"Reira, what is your definition of an assistant to the head?"
"My definition for an assistant to the head would be to fulfill whatever the head of office wishes for me to do, in a calm and expertise manner. I would make sure to use all my personal skills to perform these deeds in a punctual manner, whether it consists of copying papers, scheduling events and handling surprise situations."
"How long would it take you to adjust to the work style here?"
"Adjusting to the work style here would be no problem. As previously stated, I grew up in the business world, often helping out here and there for my Great Uncle Rias. I have experienced many situations in doing so. Situations that dealt with pressure and the urgency to complete things on time. I learn quickly. Just give me a quick orientation, and I promise, I will have everything down packed."
"Are you able to work under pressure?"
"The stresses of pressure can be avoided, with a calm demeanor and organization."
This question was the hardest of all. Almost like the climatic end of it all. She wanted to badly for this to be over and done with. She was tired of wearing the mask for the day and her heels were starting to annoy her. Pushing all these thoughts aside, she purposely took some time to think about this question. Pretending that she was considering this thoroughly.
"Now, Reira I'm going to give you a situation, and you respond how you would handle it.
Answering calmly, Reira replied. "First of all, I would remain calm and wouldn't show any signs of panick. Panick interfers with how the brain reacts and copes with things, often, obscurring focus. Then I wold assess my situation. The memo I need to give to you, plus a report, a message that needs to be delivered to one of your executives, and finally, to deliver a message to a higher up. The only logical solution would be to perform the most important task first, which is to find you and give you the memo. I could kill two birds with one stone here, also delivering you the report. Your executives are also usually with you, which knocks off the third task. When all those deeds are completed, I would deliver the message to the higher up. I would do things this way, from the level of importance."
I hoped that was good enough. I really did try to play this part well. But holy smokes Alex! The kitchens cooking! That was an intense interview, I'm so glad it's all over..no wait..still two more questions..
